I didn't have much time, so I just grabbed the The Original Dark Horse, Sauvignon Blanc, 2017, California ($10.99). From what I could see, they had a decent selection of wine. Plus, the store is bright, and clean. Well organized as I knew exactly where to go to find the wine. Buying the bottle was quick and easy. I managed to check out right when our car got here. To be honest, the real STAR of the joint is DOG the gray cat. She hangs out by the cooler's warm external ventilation grate in a circular plush bed sleeping happily most all the time. I am really a dog person and grew up in the Midwest with family cats so I like to ask the clerk and then the cat if it's alright to interact with the feline. Extending a passive hand and allowing Dog to smell you at her own pace most always results in me petting and gently scratching the cat and loving the purrs and sweet attention she gives back to me. The clerk I talk to is cool and fun and a good person. The sign for George's Market is also old-timey neon and I dig the whole scene a couple minutes and go home with my ice cream :)
