    EBT CASH AID RETURN POLICY

    The Manager Owen Discriminated against me for being on food Stamps. I paid for cvs Items with my Cash Aid. Less than 24 hrs later I went to return some items. The Manager was speaking to be in a rude tone and said that I was stupid for not understanding what their policy was. He basically yelled at me and I cried: he was very aggressive.He refused to return my items. he said the system doesn't allow Cash back returns or to put the money back on a different card. He was not trying to figure out a solution. Owen kept repeating himself over and over again! he spoke to me as if he was looking down on me and he did speak down to me. Owen was acting like he was superior to me. Cvs shouldn't have a manager who stereotypes low income members of the community.I needed to return these items so I could pay my rent. He might have cost me my living situation. Sounds like CVS discriminates against Low income individuals. Cvs' employees represent their brand: I've been a CVS girl all my life! Now I'm never going back again. I plan on sharing my experience with every person I know:

    Cashier is super rude! She was so useless! Had an attitude, no wonder no one is there! I wouldn't go back there!

    Got my typhoid and hepatitis a vaccination. The doctor was nice and friendly. High recommend. But I think they needa restock their makeups.

    Poorly stocked. These guys are NOT 24 hours. Never count on them being open late night or early morning.

That being…read moresaid, when I recently had shoulder pain, I went to my local Walgreens and they stated the medicine that I needed wasn't covered under my insurance and that I'd need to pay out of pocket. Did some quick research and realized for those who pay out of pocket for medicine should go to a true local pharmacy because big box pharmacies such as Walgreens can price meds at whatever they choose and let me tell you, in was pricey and this was for a generic med not a brand name. I came to KC Pharmacy and man was I surprised at their courteous/quick service. My cost was maybe 1/5 what walgreens wanted to charge. Secondly, there was no line and I even had a chance to speak to the pharmacist about the medication and it's side affects without feeling rushed. Overall, I had a surprisingly great experience at KC and would recommend them in a heartbeat. They even threw in some cough drops, man they are they best! Hopefully I'll never need anything else but if I do I'm coming here! Thank you to the awesome pharmacy tech and pharmacist who helped me!

Pharmacy work must be a very stressful job, and her proactivity and thoughtfulness took me by surprise as I usually feel I have to battle CVS' for communication.     I had a stressful experience today at this store at around 12 noon. I saw that I had a coupon on…read moremy app for 25% off all Halloween merchandise and today was the last day to use it! So i come in and for some reason had to use the self checkout where my rewards never works. Since it did not work the clerk told me that she would help me at the counter. But instead tells an older couple to come ahead of me to check out. I get frustrated and so decided to go to the pharmacy to check out. But the coupon did not show up even though I did send it to my cards days before. So the sale had to be canceled. I go back up to the front and tell me sweetie what happened. All the while, a noisy older gentleman (or was he really a gentle - man....not really) was looking at me and listening. He and the woman were the ones allowed to cut in front of me by the clerk. I bet she was thinking of convenience but not convenient for me but oh well. Then this older "so perfect gentleman" said to the clerk - watch out for me! LOL!!! Ironic! He did not realize part of the reason why i said all those things near him was because I wanted him and the lady to hear me as they were allowed to cut in front of me and never showed good manners stating that I was clearly there before them. Surely, if it was the other way around and the tables were turned, would he not be angry?!? YES! ..anyone would be in the same situation. Anyhow, the coupon still did not work. It was no fault of the clerk who was very pleasant and sweet- she would make an excellent CVS manager by the way! But this issue was upsetting! Later, I realized I had a coupon on my email for 35% so was still able to purchase the shirt that I wanted after all and this time it worked! Yippee! I want to say that the clerk was superb through all this. It was not her fault. But some customers are so noisy. lack manners and are plain rude. You are never too old to learn to keep to yourself and mind your own business, be kind, learn good manners. Surely, I would not have got so upset if I did not see that noisy man who cut in front of me listen to me, and then make a snide remark about me to the clerk. Keep in mind I was angry with not being able to use a coupon that I should have been able to use, the time and inconvenience of the whole thing and the rudeness of the one customer who actually forgot I was originally ahead of him in line. I am not upset with the staff here as they had nothing to do with this issue clearly. But then I am the bad one?!? LOL! Again another stressful experience at a CVS. ...sigh A note to CVS headquarters: If you send coupons through the app, please make sure they work for your customers at time of purchase. This is a stressful situation to have to go through.
