Unfortunately I had a prescription sent over her from my daughters pediatrician and was told 2 times it was not sent over Huong helped at the front desk and instead of assisting to help me she had me walking back and forth for the prescription to make sure it was sent. Lucky for me they are across from them. For the third time I had to get a physical prescription wrote out from the doctor. I just wanted to give a huge shout out to the nurse tech and pharmacist here! I am so so thankful for McKee Pharmacy! Long story short, I have been going to Walgreens by my home for a while, but they have been slacking a few times and the people there seems miserable and unhelpful. My 4 year old son got an infection and needed antibiotics and Walgreens gave me the run around all day, till I finally came and said they were sold out and for me to call around and find a pharmacy that had it in stock to transfer my son's prescription. It's late and most pharmacies were closing so I was scared I wouldn't be able to help my son. I called McKee to see if they had the antibiotics in stock and they did, but was closing in 10 mins after I called around 6pm. I rushed over way past their closing time, and a very helpful and kind lady helped me out and I was able to get our electronic prescription from Walgreens transferred over to McKee Medical Pharmacy. I was an emotional wreck that night because no parent likes seeing their child suffer, and it was getting late, I felt hopeless and I was afraid that I couldn't get his medication that evening... Thanks goodness for McKee staffs and pharmacist for helping a frantic mom out, I am so so so grateful and thankful for your help! My child took the antibiotics that night and woke up feeling much better already the next day. I am so glad he did not have to suffer a night due to Walgreens negligence. I will be changing my pharmacy to McKee permanently! Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart!! I really appreciate your staff's kindness and empathy towards me that night... I have been coming here since I was a kid, and it's pretty much unchanged, which is a good and bad thing. The first thing I will say is go early to pick up medicine. It makes things a lot quicker. The staff are pretty nice for the most part. They do what they can to get you out the door. Unfortunately, if you do get your medication put in the same day and it's super busy, you could easily wait an hour. The place is small but there is plenty of seating. I do wish they updated the line as sometimes people form their own line, which is annoying. I also got my covid shots here and again coming early in the morning, and you will be out fast. You can always call in as well. The people here pick up pretty quick. Overall, I have, most of the time, have had a good experience. It is usually only bad when it gets super busy, and then you have to wait. read more

Price: This is a really amazing pharmacy that caters towards the lower income community of San Jose. Even if you have no health insurance, they will try to look for the best alternative medicine or even apply coupons for you! Speed: They're incredibly fast at what they do. I can never see who it is but it's like they employed tiny elves! Safety: It seems like they are always striving for perfection as it seems they recently updated their security cameras so the parking lot feels safer given the location. Communication: Of course, this is one of the most diverse pharmacies I have ever been to! English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog employees all in the one place. McKee Medical Pharmacy - Pharmacy Near Me - San Jose, California

I started going to McKee Medical Pharmacy sometime in 2019. Although I like how they are quick in refilling your prescriptions and answer phone calls compared to large retail pharmacy that you make you wait all the time, it just isn't for me to go here anymore. As I keep going back, I realized many of the patients are elderly adults/seniors and this pharmacy isn't a fit for me as a young adult. I like to have options where I can refill my prescriptions online or through an app on my phone. I thought McKee Medical Pharmacy has this option on their website, but it actually doesn't work. I would get an error when I tried refilling it online. The lady at the front desk can speak 4 languages like Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese, and basic English. I can see why this benefits for elderly adults who have trouble speaking English. If you are Chinese/Vietnamese, this pharmacy will be great to go to for your elderly parents. However, if you're a young adult who likes having online options to refill, this pharmacy is not for you and I recommend going to an American pharmacy. read more

This place is TERRIBLE. The workers are rude. Every time I came to pick up my dad's meds, they're literally scrimmaging through their cheap tubs trying to look for them because they're so disorganized. Multiple times I've had to come back because they didn't have something in stock. I got into an argument with one of the workers because in the middle of ringing me up she'd stop to do something else without even telling me which had me standing there looking foolish. A few days after my mom called to check on one of his refills and they placed her on hold without muting and she just heard them chatting away and laughing. My mom had to hang up and call again to get an answer. That's when I finally changed my dad's pharmacy and suddenly they wanted to apologize. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Ever. read more

My family has been coming to this pharmacy for years. It's always so hard to find a pharmacy that can speak fluent Cantonese/Mandarin/Vietnamese. But luckily, this pharmacy has technicians and clerks that speak all 3 of those languages and more. This pharmacy receives 5 stars from me because they care. The pharmacists (Daniel, Emily, and Austin) always take the time and care to make sure my grandma's medication is working well for her and that she's taking her medication properly. They are all extremely knowledgeable and take the time to answer all of our questions. If a medication is too expensive, they try their best to contact doctors for a medication change or they try to find coupons to help reduce the price of medication for their patients. I have never been to a pharmacy that has been so willing to help their patients cut costs. Lastly, if your doctor writes you a prescription for a medication that they don't usually carry, they will most likely special order it for you to pick up the next day! This Pharmacy is incredibly unprofessional. I got placed on hold four times and each time had to repeat myself regarding my prescription. The 1st lady told me if I brought it in, they could order it and when I asked about a second product she placed me on hold where I had to repeat myself 3 more times to several individuals. They each had me spell it out because their English wasn't well. The last man was beyond the rudest. And when they gave me the bottle of pills they never showed me how to use it.and they said the instructions were on the bottle but the instructions were english and my wife cannot read it.and I don't recommend it for any people on that location. read more

A small family style pharmacy. Mr. Wang, the pharmacist, was helpful on the phone and even when I was there. I was prompted right away and since I called ahead of time, the help went smoothly. I brought an old prescription bottle from CVS and he was able to trace back the information and updated my database information. We contacted my doctor for authorization. Price is average. I live like 12 miles away from this place, but still going to Mckee pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions. Incredibly crooked pharmacy, borderline criminal. My grandma have a prescription for 60 pills but they only gave us 30. The receipt indicated they gave us 60.... are they doing this to over charge the insurance ? This have happened multiple time.
