I absolutely HATE this place & their 1 or 2 miserable, unresponsive employees who work the night shift. Although, to be fair, there was 1 night shift guy who was very pleasant & helpful, but go figure, I haven't seen him around anymore. Anyhow, their sign on the door says "Open 24 Hours". Well, that's a bunch of bullshit, as I tap my keys on the glass door to try & get the guy's attention, who is stocking the drink refrigerator, across from me. He does a great job at ignoring me at 1st, until he doesn't have a choice but to turn around & face me. Then he waves his hands & says "closed". Question: If your door says "Open 24 Hours"... what is your interpretation & understanding of the phrase 24 hours??? Mine is that ur friggin store should be open. But it's NOT! Not to mention, I also wanted to get a car wash bc I had been o/o town a cpl days ago & the front of my car is loaded w bugs! But, the orange cones are in the driveway to the car wash so, evidently, that is closed, as well. WTF! PLEASE CHANGE YOUR "OPEN 24 HOURS" SIGN ON YOUR DOOR AS IT'S FALSE ADVERTISING & IT'S A COMPLETE LIE! Aand, this is not the 1st time this has happened to me at this station either. Unfortunately, this station is only about 1/2 a mile from my house & very convenient, when it's open. But when it's not open & I need something, I have to drive several more miles, down the freeway, to the next Loop location, which is o/o Blossom Hill Rd & guess what, their sign says "Open 24 Hours" & they are!!! GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER!! This is a big franchise & I imagine that they have set rules & requirements that they expect from each 1 of their franchisee's so that every time someone... aka... A CUSTOMER, stops at a Shell/Loop location, everything is universal & laid out the same way & operated the same way so that the customer feels at ease & knows they will be treated the same at each stop. Well, not so at this Loop. If u are in this area & it's late night, don't even bother stopping. Just get onto Highway 101 & go south a cpl miles to the Blossom Hill Rd exit & go left. There is another Loop location there, by Chick-fil-A. Not only do their signs say "Open 24 Hours", they honor that by actually being Open 24 Hours! Imagine that. To me, this is the equivalent of going to our Walmart Super Center on Story Rd. Every time u go there, u are guaranteed 1 thing for sure, & that's that u are going to get pissed off & regret stopping there. Same w this station. Man, I HATE this place! P.S. Note to Corporate & Franchisee.... If ur employees are allowed a set time to close the store to stock, clean, take lunches, whatever, etc., then why not have em put a sign in the window saying Closed from --:-- until --:-- ?? I mean, wouldn't that alleviate a lot of confusion & customer irritation? I would think so!! However, this also brings me back to the sign on ur Loop Neighborhood door, which says "Open 24 Hours". I go to this place for gas all the time, and I occasionally purchase chicken tenders or something of the sort from their hot and ready foods. Today I bought tenders, which were fine. I also bought a 2 for $3 buffalo chicken thing- sort of like a chicken meat stick that looks like a taquito but isn't. I am horrified to say that I should have checked the food prior to leaving- upon arriving at home, I found the buffalo chicken FROZEN. Not cold, not lukewarm, not room temperature. There is no way someone could have served these without realizing they were not cooked. Hence, I am fairly confident that the worker knowingly gave me uncooked food. I am absolutely flabbergasted and disappointed that I would be knowingly served frozen "hot and ready" food. The gas station here is fine, but as for the professionalism (or lack thereof) and lack of concern for others as demonstrated by this incident- very poorly run business. I am more concerned by the health risks that such an action poses. Truly disappointing. Not a long wait since there were only a few cars ahead of me. Loop has a neighborhood mini market that is convenient for you. I haven't been inside to check it out, but one day I will! -Gas is pretty decent here. -Car wash is decent here for me as well. Only problem I have is that the drying could be better! Why? Because I still have water stains on my front windshield and on top of my trunk and bottom of my trunk area. Not underneath my car trunk, but literally on the bottom of my trunk- you know- top and bottom, ha. Other than that, I don't have dirty stains left on my car. Super helpful staff! I came here one afternoon and needed help with my tires because I had driven so much that the tire pressure light had been on for a couple of days. I needed to get home but was worried that I'd have a problem. So I came here and asked for help, Selena was nice enough to help me and show me how to use the air machine which I had not done by myself before. She showed me how and told me what I had to press and she helped ease my worry. These are the types of people we need more of in this world, those willing to lend a helping hand. I visited on November 4th to get gas and a car wash, during the car wash I noticed a clicking sound when the brushes were going on my car, as if something was hitting my car. I noticed after I had left that it had left scratches ALL on the driver side of my car. My dad took my car back the next day to show them and they just said "nobody else complained" but immediately shut down the car was for the day (obviously something was wrong) and said the manager would contact us. This place has been very unfair to us. Gives us a loyalty card for car wash. But after we have filled ot up to 5 times, they refuse to give us the free car wash. Even told us that there is something wrong with what was on the card, or maybe they said we got the card somwhere else. This is all BS of course. They gave me the card, and they write whatever they need to on the card to mark it. I have told them that the card only has their markings, and that if anything is wrong with it they were the ones that made a mistake. Maneuvering in and out of this place is difficult. Gas is higher priced because it lasts longer than say the 76 or Valero across the street. The manager gives me a ticket to go again, then I come back and show them the video, and repeat the process 4 times. They say all "you're the only one complaining." "You're not driving in right." I always get there Ultimate car wash for some reason the sensor was of on me and only washed half my car I notified the employees thinking they would rest it for me but no they quickly blamed me saying the machine is working you probably didn't follow the rules sorry can't refund you not only that the employee was saying if it happens next time just leave your car parked inside and call one of us ,so I can have my door damaged no thank you so now I'm stuck with a dirty car and dry soap had to come home and finish the job my self. So went to the Loop tonight and bought the $13 car wash went through it and when we came out my truck was still dirty I went back inside spoke to the manager a Mexican lady named Romella told her that my truck was still dirty asked her if I could just go through again I did not want my money back I just wanted to be able to go through again she told me no and that if they do not guarantee for your car to be 100% clean ?!? WTF. I mean I get it it's just a drive thru car wash but dam there was still bird crap and visible dirt everywhere but she stood her ground and told me there was nothing she could do for me. I mean even if she said I can let you go thru for half but nope she offered nothing to keep me as a good paying customer. I am a loop back member and come here to get my car washed religiously. I always get the ultimate car wash for the double pass and under carriage wash. So i purchased the ultimate car wash like usual This time i went through the car wash and noticed the under carriage wash did not activate. I thought it was weird i continued to through the car wash. The brushes only did one pass no clear coat application or second pass it booted me out right to the air dryer. I spoke with the lady inside saying i paid for the ultimate car wash and thats not what i received. She looked at my car and said it looks clean. I explained to her i know how long the ultimate car wash takes as its the one i always get. She refused to hear me out and just kept saying your car is clean it worked. I left furious.
