The pharmacy is terrible. Ricardo is rude, curt, and unprofessional. I just went through a major surgery and he lectured me about a pain medication being addictive. When I asked why he was so rude, he came back with another rude retort. Like other reviewers have wrote, they said my prescription wasn't covered by insurance, but I have excellent insurance, and all my other prescriptions of this medicine have been covered. They do not know what they are doing, and there is always a long line. You have to wait on hold for a very long time to reach anyone. I used to live in Vista and they would pick up the phone in 30 seconds, this place picks up their phone 10 minutes later if you're lucky. And on another prescription I had they said there was no refills, but the bottle clearly said 2 refills. CVS online said there were 2 refills, but they kept saying they need a doctor approval. They are just plain incompetent! read more

After being at another location for years and getting frustrated with their pharmacy (you can figure out which location if you follow my reviews) I came to this one. I have been going here for almost a year now so it deserves a review. I am so much happier since I switched. There is NEVER a problem picking up my prescript and even if their is a line their is a happy lady at the cash register. I am age 50+ and this is without a doubt the worst drugstore I have ever shopped in. The staff is very rude, and it is obvious that they are unhappy and poorly managed. How I miss Long's! Long's pharmacy, their store product layout, and the intelligence of their staff were all superior. (I, too, have been disappointed with the pharmacy's turnaround time after dropping off a prescription. When my prescription came in, I never received an automated reminder call, the way I used to with Long's, so I had to call myself to ask.) I have torn up my CVS shopping card (which they use to track our purchases), and will never shop in a CVS again. I used Yelp to find another pharmacy and drugstore. read more

do not trust cvs with your photos!! i gave them 2 of my reusable film cameras to develop with pictures that are very important to me on the film. i was told i should receive them in 2 weeks, and after over 3, i called them and asked for the status of my pictures. they said they couldn't find them in store and they probably got lost in the mail. i understand cvs has nothing to do with the postal service, but when i asked for additional help or information, the employee on the phone with me was so rude and unhelpful. eventually, after asking several times, they agreed to call the place that they shipped my cameras to and give me a call back... but i never received one. i'm very disappointed.. because not only did i lose precious photos, but 2 reusable cameras that i planned on using again. i expected at least some care or concern for my items. :( read more

They need more staff in the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are very professional, but simply very swamped. It's better to have your prescription sent in one day and then plan to pick it up the next. Every time I come to pick up a prescription that has been ordered by my doctor to be picked up on the way home, it's not even started by the time I arrive. I've never had a pharmacy be so backlogged all the time. They are very nice and rush it for me after I wait in line to pick it up, to get up to the front to find that it hasn't even been started, so they go and find it, and then put it in the queue to fill. They just need more staff to be able to keep up with the amount of work they have. Usually busy pharmacies have more than one pharmacist and one cashier working, and this pharmacy seems always very busy. This is the fourth time in a row, so it seems like the norm. read more

The prices here are pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend buying anything here unless it's an emergency. The markups on cosmetics are the worst. My favorite brand of nail polish here costs double what it is at Target. On top of that, it seems like the cosmetic stock is rarely rotated, so the stuff you buy is expired or expiring. The quality of the product really gives it away. read more

I always thought I could trust any pharmacy but I was proven wrong today. I dropped off about 5 prescriptions for an upcoming surgery and the pharmacy shorted me on my pain medication. The rx reads 45 and they dispensed 40. I have read about problems such as these but I guess I never believed that it was actually happening. Clearly there are untrustworthy people dispensing these medications, and it's your word against theirs and they know that. That's why it happens and there is nothing you can do. And I paid for the full prescription. So wrong, I would definitely never come back, and will find a small pharmacy I can trust in the future. This is so horrible. Seriously disappointed. I added allergies to my records for when picking up medication. When I went to pick up my meds right now I asked the pharmacist if they confirmed the meds I was picking up didn't use anything I was allergic to as a filler. He looked at me seriously confused and said, well I don't know. How would I know that? I would have to call the manufacturer. Ummm, isn't it your job to ensure you aren't giving me anything I am allergic to??? read more

This is my favorite pharmacy, without a doubt. Every time I walk towards the pharmacy, I am greeted by the same smiling face of the very friendly pharmacy technician, Kathya. She is always so helpful and patient with me and my many meds. Her being there is what makes my painful walks to the pharmacy not so painful. Never having my prescriptions filled here again. I've been a regular pharmacy customer for 10 yrs. Today I was shopping around the store while my husband picked up our prescriptions in the back. When he came & found me I checked the bag of prescriptions he paid for. One of them was not to be placed on auto fill, but was. It was a med I had a bad reaction to. Without ever leaving the store I walked back & brought it to the pharmacy checker's attention. I told her I can't take this medicine and it's not supposed to be on auto fill, please make a note in the computer. She mumbled that she'd talk to the pharmacist. The pharmacist said "she will have to talk to her doctor about that"....isn't that their job to document that I've had an allergic reaction? Sure I'll talk to my doctor, but don't auto fill this medicine because I can't take it. I handed the bottle back to them. They wouldn't refund me and they wouldn't take it back. So I'm out $10 and threw the medicine in the trash can outside the store. Transferring all 12 of my monthly meds to Ralph's. See ya CVS! read more

Worst CVS Ive ever been in. The pharmacy staff are rude, zero customer service skills. They have a head Pharmacist that is an absolute B*&%H...... Konin( spelling?) . They must have hired this idiot from the drop out list at some fake school. They cant count days as to how many days are in a month and anyone who takes any controlled substance knows 2-3 days you can fill it ex if you filled it on the 5th of the month the next month you can fill it on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th. This CVS doesn't know the dates i've picked up medications- they are rude. I was on the phone with their customer/corporate relations for over an hour- they are more helpful than the pharmacy no doubt. The issue is the pharmacy people and the people they employee. Never take your business to this pharmacy! It's unlikely they will still be in business within the next year as I am pursuing a lawsuit against them. read more

I've been to CVS multiple times and NEVER have I experienced such a rude and ignorant person. I FEEL STEREOTYPED and OFFENDED BY HOW THIS WOMEN TREATED MY SIX YEAR OLD WITH AUTISM. I was shopping for hair color and my son was with me, he had moved a couple of boxes with travel sized waxing strips out of place. NOT THROWING OR DAMAGING THE PRODUCTS. NOT POKING AT THEM OR RIPPING THEM, JUST GENTLY MOVING THEM TO LAY ON THE SHELF INSTEAD OF THEM BEING VERTICAL LIKE THEY WERE BEFORE. HE DIDNT HARM A THING! and I was talking to him and letting him know that we don't do that but my son has severe autism so even though I may tell him right from wrong it will take him awhile to grasp. The manager Peggy working in cosmetics raised her voice at my son and started lecturing him. I walked in front of here and told her my son is autistic he is learning and she said I don't care and kept trying to speak to him um hello I'm his mother talk to me. First of all one should never try to lecture or raise there voice at someone else's child PERIOD you must ALWAYS speak to the parent and second if I just had to come in between you and my son you shouldn't be that close to him and not keep trying to lecture him if I just told you he doesn't understand. She looked me up and down and I asked for her name and went upfront to ask for a manager. She came walking to the front grinning because she was the manager. I asked her that I needed to speak to someone higher and she refused the information. I'm a single parent and yes I'm only in my mid twenties with a child but being belittled like that and having someone treat my son like that is not okay. If I had left the products as he had moved them then okay say something to me but as she was busy trying to lecture my son and I had to step in I had already put everything back to the way it was. If I wasn't young with a child I know she wouldn't of treated me this way. I am the only voice for my son so I'm sorry if this sounds like a rant but it's unfair for someone to treat me this way but to do that to a child is plain wrong especially when they truly don't understand. read more

Bipolar store. General merchandise well stocked and fairly priced, always acceptable generally friendly checkers. Pharmacy indefensible. Always required a minimum of 2 hours to fill a prescription, more if new or somebody was having "lunch." Went to get prescription on a Sunday and the entire counter was locked down in the mid-afternoon. I would not rely on this location for anything more critical than snacks. read more

I have been using this location's pharmacy for some time now, and their staff is exceptional. They are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and efficient. A recent example of these qualities was demonstrated by one of the pharmacy students/residents Francis (I only assume he was a student because he was wearing his pharm school white coat). He was amiable and clarified my concerns thoroughly. I was given an estimated time when my medications would be ready but I received a pick up notification much quicker than the expected time. I went to see my dentist and had tooth extraction on 01/26/18. My dentist wrote a Norco (precription for pain) and took it to CVS but I was given "GENERIC" for Norco instead. I took it right away but nothing happened. I had left over Norco from previous visit (4 years ago) and took it and pain was gone after 10 minutes. I contacted the CVS next day to request for an exchange with brand name NORCO because I only used one tablet and that did not work for my pain but they refuses without having another a new precription from doctor. I have contacted my dentist and explained that exchanged with Real NORCO because the one that I got it from CVS did not work for me and I am still in so much PAIN. I was told from the dentist's office that they can't write it again because the doctor could loose license which is make sense. CVS staffs were EXTREMELY rude. The point that I am trying to make is "I was cheated by not given brand name NORCO and I was NOT told ahead of time that they don't have brand name in their stock by the time I dropped off the medication. Otherwise, I would have gone to other places like Walmart or Ralphs****PLEASE ASK ALWAYS BEFORE YOU PICK UP THAT BRAND NAME MEDICATION FROM CVS**** Otherwise, they will refuse to return or change it for you. I don't want you to experience and want to share with you how I was cheated. I WILL NEVER EVER GO BACK TO ANY of CVS locations until I leave from this earth.
