I've used this pharmacy a few times in the past. I don't normally take any medications daily so I don't come very often. The last time, one of the medications the doctor prescribed was not covered by my insurance. The associate who called me explained what the issue was, what they were going to do, and told me they would call me back when they have an answer. I was pleasantly surprised that a pharmacy actually did what they said they were going to do and made sure I got my medication. They called my doctor started the authorization process and called me when it was approved. I didn't have to call them, my doctor, or my insurance. They did everything for me. read more

I miss my pharmacy. I moved over an hour south a few months ago and had to leave my beloved pharmacy. I was with Quality Care for over 5 years. I miss Ivana and Andrea. People don't realize how good local pharmacies are. Now I go back and forth from a CVS and Walgreens and they are horrible. The difference in service is night and day. At Quality Care, if something wasn't covered or out of stock, they help you out. At CVS or Walgreens, I don't even get a call. This place is a hidden gem. read more

They lied…read moreand told me that the FDA stopped allowing me to get the mixture of Estrogen that my DR has been giving me for 4 years. They said I needed to get the Dr to change it. They said that Estoril was on the banned list. My Dr changed to just Estradiol. Well it wasn't working for me at all. My Dr asked me to get the mixture they had been giving me so he can come up with something else and do the research. Drugco fought me on giving me the mixture, mind you it is not a proprietary blend. The only reason My Dr couldn't' look it up is they were part of the Palomar Hack and couldn't get into old records. I explained this and they kept saying NO. I finally said don't make me be one of those that go viral. I have a right to know what you were making and I was putting into my body, regardless of my Dr. asking. Finally they called the owner. Then another guy came up and wrote down the mix. Turns out he wrote down something that wasn't true. I switched to another pharmacy, and guess what Estoril is NOT banned. That pharmacy even sent me the FDA Banned list and Tuesday of next week I will have WHAT WAS WORKING for me. From the new Pharmacy: The percentage of the Biest 2.5mg Drugco told you was wrong. You can't mix it the way they told you. You have two choices. I called the Dr. as their computers are back up and It's 80% Estriol-2mg and 20% Estradiol-0.5mg. I will have them ready on Tuesday for you. They put my health at risk, for what? Not enough profit. You lied to me about it being banned and then lied about the %'s Heck my benefits don't even pay for this. I pay out of pocket and it is not cheap. I will yell at the top of my lungs at how wrong this was to do to someone. Those that suffer from Menopause can understand. BAD BUSINESS. They own other shops so i recommend you don't do business with ANY OF THEM. AKA Good Neighbor Pharmacy®. Shame on you for putting my health in danger.

His staff is top notch from Carmelita to Ruchie to Manny and Victor (and everyone else that has worked there and is working there). I love how they greet me by name when I call and to me that goes a long way! I value the Village Pharmacy Staff...they have been such a great group of people. I also love their selection of various medications...they have gone ankle and beyond, when I have been in a bind with medication almost about to run out!
