Oh my God. So they offer free "delivery" for prescriptions which is the only reason I gave them my business. By free delivery, they mean that THEY MAIL them to you! Can you f*****g believe that? Supposedly 24/48 hour shipping but with Santa Rosa Post office it MIGHT show up next Friday. And why would I wait HOPEFULLY 2 days to get my prescription. It's Friday. 2 From today means 4 days because there is no mail on Sunday. So now I have to go through the drive through. Also, their website is shite, and locked me out so I couldn't order other meds to go with my prescription so the 2nd girl I spoke to recommended that she connect me with the manager. He lied and said there wasn't a manager on duty and that his name was Joel. His name was Matthew. The same "manager" who emailed me, blaiming the 1 new employee who was in the store when it got robbed while I was there, for the store getting robbed and for his own incompetence in not hiring security. Hope someone doesn't put a gun to my head while I'm waiting in my car. Seriously. That's how safe this store maintains itself. They lost their best guy Glen, who was with them since Long's Drugs owned the store. I would never come back here. I took their covid test before my Hawaii trip, that was guaranteed to come back in 48 hours, and it came back 8 days later!! I lost 140 bucks on that test that they refused to refund. Not only that-there were no instructions given on how to perform the test, and when I asked about it - the cashier just closed the window on me. Wow, just went there today. After purchasing over $25 worth of stuff, I went back in to use the restroom. The restrooms for the customers was locked. I went to the Pharmacy and asked for the key. Find another store. Poor service and LONG lines for pharmacy all the time. Clerk lost my extra care card on the conveyor belt - and was not able / willing to provide me with any help. This pharmacy provided the worst experience I have ever had. On a Thursday, my doctor faxed my prescription over to be filled, so I called to check if it was ready and the staff told me they never received anything. This saga continued for the next six days -- I went without a medication that I HAVE TO HAVE for six days. The pharmacy DID get my prescription, but they refused to fill it saying that my Dr. did not have the rights to prescribe the medication (WHAT?! I started seeing this doctor for the sole reason that he is licensed to prescribe this medication). After going back and forth between the Dr. and the pharmacy for those six days, the Pharmacist kept telling my doctor that they had everything they needed and would go ahead and fill it. After he had these conversations with the pharmacy staff, my doctor would then call me to relay to that it would be ready and I could go pick it up. I even talked to a staff member of the pharmacy who confirmed that my prescription would be ready and I could pick it up after work. Guess what!? When I showed up they told me they couldn't fill it. By now, I had 3 different people at my doctor's office working on this case trying to get this filled for me. We finally decided to go with another pharmacy in town. It took one day to get it called in, approved, and picked up with absolutely NO issues. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for years but feel that it may be time to break up. I chose this pharmacy due to the drive up window. I am nowhere near lazy however, when picking up prescriptions for sick children, or ill myself, the last thing that I want to do is lug the youngsters inside. The drive up window is now closed 90% of the time and that does not work for my family. I also feel that the staff is either unhappy or they are seriously understaffed. I have not seen any of them smile in a very long time, which is sad. I am always left hoping that their employer steps up and takes better care of them. read more

Just here to say kudos to the caring pharmacist who filled my three prescriptions 20 minutes before the 6 pm closing time on Saturday! She is my hero as I drove from Windsor where the CVS pharmacy closes at 5 pm on Saturday. My husband was released from the emergency room at Sutter Hospital 2 hours prior with prescriptions written for an antibiotic and pain meds he truly needed asap. Sadly I have to cut this rating by a star for the pharmacy clerk who did her best to drive me away at 20 minutes to closing time. She clearly did not want to help me but had to oblige when the pharmacist said she could do it! The clerk had to angrily order me not to wander away from the area so they could get me checked out and gone by 6 pm! She really really wanted out of there on time! Actually it was more like 27 minutes to closing but she was shaving down the minutes with her stalling and lying like it was a sports game rather than a person's health at stake. But the pharmacist won this round and CVS should be proud of her! read more

The reviews of the pharmacy are spot on. This place is terrible. My sister has a chronic health issue that prevents her from leaving the house. Her friend tried to pick up her important prescription after the pharmacy said it was available. When the friend got there, she had to wait in line for a very long time only to be rudely told that the prescription was not ready. I am out of town so tried to arrange a delivery. The pharmacy said that Instacart could pick up prescription but after three tries I was told that they don't work with Instacart. When I called again, I spoke to a very rude person who didn't acknowledge that they had provided incorrect information. When I asked about delivery (which their website says they do), I was told that they didn't do that. She was angry from the start of the conversation and cut me off repeatedly. They are rude and incompetent and clearly don't care about the health of their customers. This is really not acceptable. read more

I am a reluctant shopper at this CVS. Time to rethink the customer service in the pharmacy. First of all, CVS is an expensive place to shop. I only buy things here if it is a time situation and I am stuck. The pharmacy is another thing. I do need to fill prescriptions at this location. I have never had a quick trip to this pharmacy. The lines are usually long. Today's incident prompted me to write. While standing in line (there were 7 of us in line for pick-up) there were 5 people working in the pharmacy, nearly all on phones. There was only 1 pharmacy clerk to serve the people in line. Okay, I get it - these things happen and they are understaffed. But....rudeness is another thing. As I was standing there, a woman stood off to the side, unclear about where she should stand. In between the customers approaching the counter, she stepped forward to say that her name had been called over the loudspeaker. She asked if she should approach the counter or get in line. With a loud sigh and rolled eyes, (really?) the clerk Sara said that she was allowed to proceed to the counter. Is this how you treat customers? I realize that Miss Sara was tired but please don't take it out on customers who are just trying to get their prescriptions filled. Frankly, it was a little unsettling to see this. The Store Manager needs to look at the pharmacy - staff more appropriately to handle the lines? Remind the staff that the customers are there to support their jobs? My insurance company supposedly has some kind of contract with CVS pharmacy which I mistakenly assumed would mean the pricing would be highly competitive. Not only is the wait ridiculously long and the clerks perpetually confused, I just discovered I could get the exact same migraine medication from Costco for $374 less! I left a comment on their FB and the "contact us" form on their website, both have completely been ignored. So, yelp it is. CVS has been going down hill for the last few years, between horrendous customer service, coupon machines never working, dirty stores, makeup dept always in shambles & this store always has people out front harassing customers. Considering I go to Cvs for necessities, not pleasure or relaxation, I've just dealt with their crap as needed. They finally royally screwed up! My son's little league team made commemorative photo frames for the coach and 2 assistant coach's, we took a fantastic team pic at their game, weekend before last, and I went to CVS to print them. I show up at CVS when they said they were ready, confirmation email on my phone, I request my order and I'm told it's not there. The woman then asks, "are you sure you didn't pick it up?". Really?!? I couldn't be more sure. Then, she tells me, "well, someone must've given it to the wrong customer." WOW! This just gets better!! Damn good thing we're only talking about some little league pics. At this point I go from perplexed to fuming. She then proceeds to tell me, she COULD print them for me again, but she's pretty busy and it'll take 20-30 min! I was on my way to the last game of the year, trophy ceremony and an incomplete gift for our amazing coaches. I had to tell the kids I didn't have the pics and it ended up we couldn't give the gifts at the ceremony! I can't tell you how absolutely disappointed and mad I am, still! Between the deplorable and couldn't be bothered attitude of your employee, and the horrible professionalism of losing PERSONAL PHOTOS, CVS is truly going to be the LAST resort. Oh, wait, it gets "better"...I just received a voicemail that my photos are "still waiting to be picked up." I am absolutely speechless, in the worst way! Were my photos there the entire time and with all of the employees huffing and puffing, she didn't see them or is CVS playing ignorant and reprinted them like nothing happened ?? I went in looking specifically for tea tree oil and found myself a bit lost trying to locate it. Before I could find someone to help, an associate named Robert found me and asked what I was looking for. I told him and he recognized exactly what I was asking for. He went a few aisles over and found it for me post haste. He made it so easy for me and was so pleasant all the while. This is one of the better chain drug stores in town now, which is not saying much. We always get our prescriptions at Tuttle's and this store is far worse than it used to be when it was Longs. After CVS took over Longs, the selection and quality went down drastically and they made the store's character and feel far less pleasant and far cheaper, in part by putting in cruddy indoor-outdoor carpet and replacing all the old shelves with short ones. read more

In two words, "Cluster F#@$!" I am not sure who provides their customer service training, but it seems like they may have outsourced it to North Korea. We can never get a prescription without hassle two times in a row. The latest little episode they said our insurance would not cover a medication that we were out of and even though we have top insurance and the medication had been covered for years. Too bad they told us, park your car and come in to fight it out, or pay $50 and drive away. It was late, we were worn out, so I paid the ransom. Next time it was the same deal. This time I went in and fought it. They said we were on the "discount plan," even though we never signed up for such a plan and our PPO had always covered our prescriptions. I had them run our insurance card and poof, the co-pay dropped to $1.47. They told me once a prescription was paid under their "discount plan" the system would automatically default to that from then on. When I asked why it was $50 before they couldn't tell me. They couldn't refund it, they didn't know who to talk to for a refund, other than our insurance company. According to them it was someone else's fault, just not theirs and, oh by the way, could I get out of line - there were other people waiting. The employees had a "give a $#!t" attitude towards our plight. It wasn't their money, they weren't inconvenienced, you could just tell they were going through the motions. Now the saddest thing is that there are no good alternatives. Walgreens is just as brain dead and uncaring, where do you go? If someone wants to make a lot of money, open a pharmacy, adeqautely staff it with smart, empathetic people, keep it in nice condition, with a comfortable waiting area and provide good customer service. I don't know about pharmacy, but I had to run a quick errand to buy diapers before I left for work. I usually go to target but since I live in the area I thought it's be quicker to go here. Nope. The store opens at 8am and they show up late. The manager shows up shaking his head, doesn't even apologize and when I got to the register I had to wait for them to get the bank for the drawer so I ended up having to use my card. It would have been faster and cheaper to go to Target. If a business opens at 8, then the employees better make sure they are ready at 8. Not 15 minutes later. My Veterinarian called a prescription in for my dog to CVS for Sulcrafate. With my AAA discount, they charged me $230 for 90 pills. When I got home and looked at reputable pet pharmacies (e.g., Foster and Smith) it was only $58.50 for the same 90 pills by the same manufacturer, TEVA. They charged me more than 4 times as much! CVS on 4th is the most ridiculous pharmacy I have ever had the misfortune to have to use. They are highly unprofessional. For an insulin user it is absurd the amount of times they do not have the product in stock. They text me 3-4 times in a day to inform me that my prescription is ready but when I get there only one of two is available. Why blow up my phone with texts when my order IS NOT ready. This review is for the pharmacy. This pharmacy is on point, I have not had a mix up or experienced a delay with any of my prescriptions. I needed some help making a selection of over the counter medication and the pharmacist was extremely help and displayed genuine care about my well being. I have gone to other pharmacies and have asked for help in choosing the right medication to get the job done, and all I get is lousy service or feel as though I am bothering them. Sometimes you need help selecting the right medication... let be real, medicine is expensive and you can't make the mistake of grabbing the wrong thing. It's very pathetic how the pharmacy staff are rude and obnoxious. I have been coming here for years and now will never go back. My fiancée has prescription for asthma medicine. We called 3 hours before for a refill and went to pick up. The lady at drop off said we have to wait for 15 mins. We waited and went back. The lady at register told us one of our medicine will not be ready for another hour. Upon asking why, she replied in an ill mannered way that she just handles register, instead tried is to rush into paying one of them. Wow, great service. Cvs PHaRMACY might need to consider changing its name if it is failing at providing pharmacy service to its patients! These people are not realizing how important it is for its customers to have medicine in time especially for a disease like asthma. My primary concern here is its staff! They think they are doing favor on us. They seem overworked, or let's say they just can't handle the pressure. Sorry people if you don't feel like working, take day off or please retire. We don't need to be showed off what kind of baggage you are carrying. But stop being disrespectful and treat your customers rudely. I can't believe I'm writing a review of CVS. That's like reviewing Walmart--no one will care and still shop there anyway. BUT, I had a great experience at this CVS location which is near my work and not the usual one I go on Yulupa Ave. This location seems to have really stepped up the customer service part of their store. While looking for different items (shampoo, sunscreen, Febreze) and how they move things around and no store is the same, I had a lost look on my face. Every single employee I was near asked me if they could help, they smiled, you felt like they were being sincere. I was astonished. My neighborhood CVS doesn't really seem to care about these things, so whoever the manager is of this location bravo to you. It's noticeable, it's appreciated, and I will shop here after work instead of my neighborhood store. Even during checkout when the lady in front of me left the line (while being rung up) to personally peruse and feel every pack of cigarettes before she picked one another clerk came over, gathered my things herself and brought them to the next line and opened up for me. After spending 5 hours in the ER I got to CVS at 5:20 to fill my 2 prescriptions that I needed that night. They closed at 6. Should be plenty of time. (There were NO people waiting for prescriptions) She wrote all over my prescription out it all in the computer then asked the pharmacy if there was enough time to fill it. She said no. Really?? 40 mins isn't long enough? Went to Walgreens they had it filled in 15 mins! I use to be a customer at this CVS years ago and left due to the fact that the customer service is horrible!!
