Go in, tell them your name and order number, boom. The attendant handed me my bag. Second visit I wanted to get a passport photo. No appointment needed, you can walk in and it takes about 5 minutes. Luckily when I went it was slow, so consider that if you decide to come here for that. It's $17 for two. My only issue here, like so many convenience stores these days it's usually only one cashier. Fine, except when there is a small surge of people and suddenly the line is 5 people deep, it would be nice if another worker could come and handle some people just to move things a bit. That aside it's still convenient and already this Walgreens has served me for the short time in this neighborhood.

Downtown Seattle is very interesting, somewhat eclectic. There's a shopping district nearby, central business district, Chinatown, Capital Hill all just a hop skip and away. With three floors of shopping, Target is secure with Seattle Police Department officers on standby making sure that shoppers and employees are safe and sound. So many departments such as groceries, greeting cards, books, kitchen and home decor, men's, women's and children's clothing, electronics, accessories, personal care, office supplies, snacks and more. Everything in store is organized, clean, with well lit lighting. I've never seen so many locked up store shelves compared to other Target locations. Self-Checkout is the best way to go.

It took a long while to find a replacement pharmacy, especially one that would honor my insurance. (The latter bit ended up being surprisingly difficult!). Anyway, no problems transferring my prescription to their shop. Their staff walked me through the process and were very helpful. They honored my insurance, so my regular prescription cost me nothing (as it had at Bartell's). Staff was helpful on the phone and in person. I think a lot of people are transferring prescriptions to Katterman's since the pharmacy staff seemed slammed when I went in. But no problems, they took the time to help me. Only confusing bit: you pick up the prescription at a counter at the back of the store, where the pharmacists work. You then take it up to the front counter to "pay" for it, even if you have no co-pay. I think I understand the process now, but the two-step process seemed a little odd (since, again, I owed nothing). But everyone was helpful, so no worries! My new pharmacy! What a relief to have one, and for it to be a nice little local shop.

Walgreens in Cap Hill is a nightmare. Every single time…read more There never seems to be enough staff, the store is always chaotic, and half of it is locked up behind barriers now. I understand why they have had to do that, but damn, if there is barely anyone working, who exactly is supposed to come unlock it? The one lonely cashier who is already dealing with a line and whatever fresh insanity is happening at the front of the store? Every visit feels stressful, disorganized, and way more exhausting than it should be. At this point, even grabbing one simple item feels like a whole production. I know retail in this neighborhood is dealing with a lot, and I do not envy the staff at all. But as a customer, this place is just consistently miserable to deal with.

This ongoing lack of communication is not only unprofessional, it is dangerous. I have followed all proper procedures with absolutely no response. To make matters worse, during one interaction with the pharmacy technician (older woman with gray/brown hair and glasses) I was met with an agitated and rude attitude. This unprofessional behavior added unnecessary stress to an already frustrating experience. I expect better from a business entrusted with people's health (I have been a healthcare worker for over 30 years). This should be investigated and appropriate action taken to ensure this type of neglect does not continue. I have transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy and they have been filled in under twenty-four hours. I could never recommend this location.
