Avoid David the pharmacist!! He thinks he is your Dr! Telling you how much medication you should have left meanwhile my Dr is aware of me picking up my medications on the date he wrote it! I bought a VISA gift card for 104.00 cash for my daughter who needed it for college. I brought it home and she opened it right away to buy some things she needed. The third set of numbers was scratched off and illegible. I brought it back 10 mins later with the receipt and spoke to this nasty punk kid who refused to give me a new card or my money back. I asked for the manager and he said he was the manager. Very poor customer service. I an now out 104.00 and I and going to now take cvs to small claims court. That is theft. If you find yourself going to this Pharmacy make sure you ask for David.. I was trying to have my Prednisone prescription filled and the person my wife spoke to said they did not have it in stock because she said the Doctor said to fill it with the Blister pack rather than simply putting 30 tablets into a bottle which is the customary format. Anyway was told maybe they could get it over the weekend and probably Not -- so we'd have to wait at least until Monday -- Considering this was Friday evening and breathing was becoming a real issue we needed the Meds ASAP. Luckily my Wife called back Saturday morning and spoke to David and got everything straightened out -- Picked up my Meds 1 hour later -- Like I said -- Great Pharmacy but sometimes stuff happens -- Just ask for David and you'll be in good hands. read more

Omg. Not only does it take 30 minutes to get thru the line at pharmacy. But they constantly have some issue. They could only partially fill prescription on Saturday, said they'd get more Monday. Very unhappy with this pharmacy.. the pharmacy techs behind the counter are rude, when you call and ask a question to a pharmacist and get someone on the line, explain the issue amd give your info .. you get .." hold on, let me put you thru to a pharmacist!" Who was I just speaking to?? Ugh! They used to be very nice , especially the drive thru... but they recently renovated the Pharmacy & now the whole attitude has changed. It's organized and they have just about everything you'd expect from a cvs. My chief complaint here is that the prescription pick up like is always ridiculous. Not only long but incredibly slow moving. I'm just not sure it's a staffing issue because last time I was there I saw about four people behind the pharmacy counter and I still had to wait twenty minutes when I was third in line. CVS is not my friend, I find the Shirley store is unpleasing in appearance and the sales people less friendly and helpful then in many other pharmacies. Also 9 times out of 10 their coupon machine isn't working. Also their coupon policy of 30% off merchandise excluding sales items: I find that whatever I go in for seems to be on sale therefore excluded. read more

This is the WORST pharmacy! They seem to be overwhelmed... The people that work there give out the wrong information and then they don't help when you need the help. Save yourself the aggregation and go to any other pharmacy because when or if you need help, cvs pharmacy is not the place to be! I'd rather be dipped in boiling oil than to have the displeasure of filling any of my prescriptions here. There is always a line. There is always an issue. There are always disgruntled customers. And the saddest part is that the employees and management don't seem to care. Both my doctors office and my child's pediatricians office have complained about their epic level of incompetency and asked me if they could send the prescriptions to a different pharmacy. I was more than happy to oblige and I'm currently thrilled with the service at Walgreen's. I will never step foot in a CVS again. read more
