Great people to work with and love the app. Hate to leave but they don't have a CVS in Poplarville, MS.

This store, especially the pharmacy, is the epitome of incompetence, laziness, ambivalence…read more"stupidity". I have had nothing but problems, issues, delays, miscommunication, misinformation and hours of time lost on hold and in line. I never thought I would move to Covington yet here I am. I have been to the Walgreens there twice and have gotten better service in those two visits than I have in six months of visits to the store. There's never been a line. The people are always helpful. Imagine that?! when I get someone on the phone, they can actually answer my questions and the answers they give me are the correct ones and they agree with what other people say. (As opposed to the revolving door of answers, you may or may not get from military road.) the absolute icing on the cake though was the other day when I tried to transfer a prescription from military to Covington. Called military and asked them to do it and was greeted by a lovely (very heavy sarcasm) person named Tran. He told me that the people at the Covington store were either stupid or lazy and that if they wanted to call him he could walk them through the process of transferring my prescriptions . But he wasn't going to do it. I called the Covington store back and relay this information to them. Being the professionals that they are, as opposed to the whatever gets hired at military, they didn't make a comment other than to chuckle. And offered to take care of my transfer for me immediately. Oh, and my prescriptions were ready within an hour. Unlike military where it takes days for prescriptions to get ready. And again no line at the drive-through. Go to military Road only if you want to have a stroke because you want your blood pressure to reach record levels at the utterridiculous lack of professionalism and ability on display.

I received a message from Walgreens three days ago alerting me my son's prescription was ready and…read morei had a balance of $50. I called and spoke with someone who told me the balance was there because they couldn't verify my secondary insurance. I gave here the requested info over the phone and she let me know my balance was now $0 and I could come pick up the prescription. When I arrived to the pharmacy the tech Norah informed me that there was no prescription for my son. I told her I spoke with someone and received an email stating the prescription was ready. She was not professional at all and said " Ion know why it told you that because it's not here, and we don't have it in stock" I requested to speak to the pharmacy manager who didn't come speak to me for 10 minutes, and watched her fill my son's prescription. When the pharmacist finally came to speak to me she showed me the prescription and said sorry we were having insurance issues , but I fixed it and here is you prescription. I told here that wasn't true and we fixed that issue on the phone and I showed her where the balance was already showing $0 on my portal. I told her I was confused because Norah stated the medicine was out of stock. She sarcastically said it was but I took it from someone else and walked away. Norah then gave me a receipt to sign and threw the prescription in the drawer. I am shocked , appalled, and disappointed by the rude and unprofessional way I was treated by the pharmacy staff at this Walgreens on Pontchartrain DR.

Unfortunately, last week they really dropped the ball. Someone there did not process his Doctor's approval for an essential medication to manage his serious condition. Now the process has to be started ALL OVER again so the poor baby will have been off his medicine for over a week! I know my daughter is beside herself with worry all because somebody at Walgreen's didn't do their job. They are harming a little baby. I wish there could be some kind of accountability! Hopefully people will see this review and take their business elsewhere!

Worst pharmacy I've ever had to deal with, and it's consistently been going downhill for years. My…read moredaughter has ongoing severe health issues and needs special medications often. Having dealt with them before, I had the nurse remove CVS from being our pharmacy of choice. Somehow it was chosen again for a very important medicine we needed right away. They didn't have it in stock but said they could get it in 2 days. I received a text and email about it being filled and was ready at CVS on Brownswitch. I got there today to get it, and I was left sitting and waiting for over 10 minutes only to be asked if I already picked it up. No... waited 15 more minutes to be told they lost it. They lost the special steroid my daughter needs for severe swelling and pain, something that has NO otc alternative whatsoever for a post operative issue. So instead of getting her medicine today, my daughter is having ongoing bleeding, swelling, and pain because CVS LOST HER MEDICINE. This is seriously the last straw. I didn't leave a review the last time the pharmacist tried giving me the wrong medicine then slammed everything around, rolled her eyes at me and made rude comments under her breath because that was my medicine. This is my young daughter's quality of life suffering this time, and I am LIVID. Now we have to wait several MORE DAYS because of the weekend and getting a new shipment?! This is beyond unforgivable and far from their first mistake for my family. How many other people's lives are suffering due to their incompetence?? Just close the store already.
