Worst service. Avoid this place at all costs. App shows RX ready and of course it's not. Rude staff. Never again.

I placed an online order for 1 item at 10pm that I needed before our vacation the following morning. 45 minutes later it still said processing so I had my husband go in and find the item & take it 2 the front to have the order filled. it was 1051pm and they said they couldn't process the pick up order because they were about to close. they left him there to pay at self checkout while they went about throwing out the garbage & setting up to close. I called the next day tp speak to a manager about canceling the order since we purchased it already. I spoke with a Juliana who said she was there when my her husband came in and that they could not process the order.Because they were about to close.I asked her how that's possible.If they are supposed to be open till 11 p m they're supposed to be able to handle and take care of customers up until 11 p m.She was like, well do you want me just to cancel it?And I said, of course, because I really purchased it.So she says, okay, and then I asked her, well, what about my coupons & my extra care bucks I used im going to lose them.She said okay and? i swear I was in total shock. I'm like, what do you mean ok and? She replied what do you want me to do about it?And I was like, listen I don't know who u are but im taking this up to corporate. how are u telling me u failed to assist a customer during working hours & when I asked about my rewards and coupons your response is ok so what do u want me to do about it? and honestly its not the words but the exasperated tone she used as if I was a child she was annoyed by. She definitely shouldn't be in any position where she has to speak with customers! Never buy a gift card from this place. Not only did they ring in the wrong information but the cards never worked bc they weren't activated when I purchased them. I purchased 2 cards for $50 each with an $8.95 activation fee. When I told them that I needed the cards activated, the store manager told me there was nothing I could do but to call CVS headquarters. When I did, I was on hold for over 30 minutes. Never again. No wonder they have only 2 stars. How about address your customer's needs? read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Smithtown, New York

I need a new pharmacy! Every time I come here(Main St CVS in Smithtown) to pick up a script I wait atleast 1/2hr at drive through and I'm usually 2nd car on line and going inside isnt much better. I hate to leave a bad review anytime but I'm sitting online so long I have nothing else to do but take out my frustrations on Yelp lol. I wish insurance was still excepted at Walgreens because I never waited more than 10 minutes on the longest lines, they need to change this is the worst! read more

No matter when I call or what time I go there, there is always a wait. I worked in a pharmacy for years and I know it can get hectic and busy but still, I shouldn't have to wait on hold for 30 minutes before someone answers. Also they started doing COVID testing on the drive thru line, what a added aggravation. I waited on line for 45 minutes because the car in front of me,a family of 4, all were getting COVID tested at the same time. I get wanting to help and offer testing but its not fair for the other people who are there to pick up their medications. They need to have a different system to separate the two! read more

This is the first time and maybe the last that I get a prescription from CVS in Smithtown. The girl at the pharmacy counter , Cansu. ?, was extremely rude. After finding my Meds she placed the bag on the counter and said nothing. I asked if I should sign and she said you need to pay, I asked how much. She told me and I gave her a bill, she put my change and receipt on counter and walked away. This was totally opposite from the lady at the main cash register who was extremely polite. read more

Worst experience. I had a painful medical procedure. I was in excruciating pain. I asked if they could rush the order. There weren't people waiting. The young kid (assistant?) seemed like he'd be willing because it was clear I was in pain. Whatever power trip the woman was on she not only rolled her eyes but said "1 hour." She looked at me then said "Best I can do is 45, maybe." I asked if they could call me when it was done. He said sure. An hour and a half later, no call. We went through the drive thru hoping it would be ready. After a lengthy wait, my prescription came back missing a pill. 5 out of 6 pills. After a 15 minute wait, they filled the missing pill. I won't be returning. I'll stick to the Rite Aid or Maple pharmacy. They know how to treat customers. read more

I've been filling prescriptions here for a while (years)! Today was the worse experience ever. A young lady names Blakelyn was there. I watched her take people ahead of me. I waited for over 20 minutes. Keep in mind no one was in front of me. All I wanted to do was drop off a prescription. I wasn't attended to until I ask when will someone take care of me - she was very rude and disrespectful. I don't know if I will continue to do business at this location because of her. I am very disappointed. Now I have to wait for my prescription because she claimed she couldn't read the prescription - yay right! Whatever - I will take care of it tomorrow. read more

Printing success! The new app they have that allows you to take pictures from your phone to place an order to print is great! It even let you know if the resolution is not so good for the size you want to print it. I did a trial run today and it turned out pretty decent. Prints cost a little more than the average do it yourself check out places but the convenience of using your phone and places orders anywhere is worth it! read more
