The…read morecashiers are young, rude, clueless, and act like helping customers is the biggest inconvenience in the world. Half the time they're standing around talking while customers wait forever. The phone service is an absolute joke. You get put on hold for 20-30 minutes just to ask a simple question, and then they come back with an attitude like YOU bothered THEM. The pharmacist acts overwhelmed and disorganized constantly, also a rude dick. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be, nobody communicates with each other, and every visit turns into unnecessary stress. What happened to professionalism? This is a pharmacy, not a high school hangout spot. The staff acts annoyed anytime someone asks a question, and the customer service is honestly embarrassing. I've had better experiences at busy chain pharmacies than this so-called "friendly neighborhood pharmacy." Honestly, I'm switching to CVS. It's closer, faster, and at least when employees have attitudes there, management actually steps in and fixes it. Here, the bad attitudes are apparently encouraged because nobody does anything about it. And CVS calls you to tell them they have your medications and then call you when they're ready. Here, you have call them. You wonder why you're losing business? This is exactly why. The ownership changes constantly, employees don't care, and the whole place feels poorly managed. I give this place maybe 3 more years before it either gets sold again or shuts down completely. You'd think they'd read these and take them into account and learn from them, but NO! they think they're doing you a favor. We're right, you're wrong. What do you expect on Staten Island? This is why mom and pop businesses are going under and everyone would rather shop online just not to hear people's attitudes. Keep having this mindset. They're also only kind to you if they know you personally, if they don't know you they don't care. I get a mild low dose benzo, but because this is Staten Island, junkies galore!, they just lump everybody into the same category. As long as your bottle has the orange label on it, you're going to be treated just the same as anyone who picks up Oxycontin. I especially don't have to tell them what my medical diagnosis is. She isn't the owner, the pharmacist, and i'm sure i'm not the only one who has complained about her, yet, she's still there. This place will never do better, so don't waste your time. It's a shame. I support small businesses, but unfortunately, a lot of small businesses, especially on Staten Island, don't care. When I arrived I was greeted immediately in a friendly manner. The person at the cashier was knowledgeable about the covid shot and answered all of my questions cheerfully. I was given a comfortable place to sit and the shot was administered within minutes. While I was waiting after the shot a number of people entered the store, each was greeted immediately and served quickly. There was one customer in particular who was being somewhat difficult by changing their mind many times, the person serving was not rattled at all and treated this person with the utmost respect. Based on my experience, I will be using this pharmacy as my regular hence forward. Lastly the parking lot always had lots of empty spots which is nice.

CVS, Walgreens, ShopRite, no one can get this. Not even a local compound pharmacy can create the concoction so what do you do? Look online? (nope!), ask your doctor for a substitute? (nope!) She began yelling over me when I did not raise my voice and then went on to threaten me ( this was the 2nd time), that if I'm going to get my meds from cvs that I can get the rest of my meds from CVS too, and she will cancel out all my prescriptions and "CVS can deal with getting prior authorizations and filling your meds". I told her that was not what I was asking. I simply need them to cancel the injections and I'll have my doctor send it to CVS. She threatened me again, and said she was " too busy for this bullshit" and slammed the phone down and hung up on me. I called back and was extremely upset and asked to speak to a pharmacist, it was her, and she said I am the pharmacist you just spoke to. I was in shock. How could a health care professional speak to sick patients just trying to get their medicine like this. I had a very disappointing experience at this pharmacy. The pharmacy manager was extremely rude and…read moreunhelpful. Simple questions that should take seconds to answer resulted in long holds, only to receive vague, unhelpful responses. When I asked why the delay for such an offhand answer, the manager replied, "I have stuff to do," which was unprofessional and dismissive of my time and concerns. When I called back to speak with the store manager, he answered with "hello," then placed the phone down and never returned. This level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. I work with pharmacies daily and have never encountered service this poor. Past reviews suggested this location was reliable, which makes me wonder if management has changed. I strongly recommend considering other pharmacies if possible.
