Story time. I got a text notification at 9am that it was my last day to pick up 2 meds. I ran out the day before and had none left. I work graveyard shift and because it is a 24/7 hr operation I figured I'd pick them up on the way to work. I arrive around 9pm and tell the pharmacist I'm ready for pick-up. The pharmacist asked for number which was unusual, first they ask for a last name and DOB, but not an issue. Then he asked if I knew what meds I was picking up which I told him. He used a different computer than the register, one in the back, which was also unusual. He kept going around and doing other tasks which I was fine with because I imagine they're busy. But then he came back to me and asked what one of them was called again, like he forgot. I repeated, he went to his computer and came back and told me they were taken off the shelf.... I then asked why, because it was still the 12th. I had 3 more hours. He said it was illegal to keep them on the shelf once they'd been there too many days -- not my question, why were they pulled EARLY. He kept giving the same answer. He reassured me he could refill them and be ready in 30min....I didn't have 30 min. I was on my way to work. I am out of my meds which I depend on to keep me healthy. I said I couldn't hang around for half an hour and he told me no just go through the drive through. One, I have to be at work. Two, he just expects people to drive home, sit for 5 minutes, and drive back?? I have the app and the text notifications to make the pickups faster and easier. It sounds to me like they were trying to make their job easier and pulled the meds early so they didn't have to do it at midnight. Unfortunately at a 24/7 place of business this is not possible, cutting corners should not be at the expense of quality patient care. The really bizarre part was when I asked for the person in charge so I could ask about the policy, he wouldn't tell me the person's last name because it can cause racism. What??? I feel offended that he assumes I'm a racist and I have to wonder if it's because I look white. So many people get married or have mixed heritage a last name doesn't even accurately reflect a race anymore. My issue was that I am without meds because they were trying to save time and in turn wasted mine and were flippant about my health. Race is irrelevant if the people looked exactly like me I'd be equally upset. read more

CVS on March Ln in Stockton, California. Yelp Challenge 91/100 Okay, I'm getting my CVS"S all mixed up now lol. This location is okay, we come for the Redbox outside and my Daughters meds here. the place is pretty big and clean inside. I never spoke to the cashiers that work up front. Only the Pharmacy ones. this place has what you need chips and meds. You can get a soda if you want. There is a drive-thru for you to pick up the meds outside in the back. So I will be back pretty soon to grab a movie. I never had a problem with the Redbox Kiosk outside. This is one of the better CVS in my village. A decent store, but there was a homeless guy with his dog sitting right outside the entry the night we came here. It kind of turns you off to going inside. But then, Stockton has a lot of homeless everywhere, and the Walgreens down the street is no better. Interestingly, several of the customers coming out were handing him money and food, like they knew him. For me, that is a bit creepy. read more

I am appalled by how a pharmacist treats his coworkers!..... I stopped by this CVS to pick up a few things. When I passed by the pharmacy I overheard a guy yelling at his coworkers! I see a man with his hair in a bun yelling at his coworkers. One of the girls looked like she was going to cry. He was really belittling them as they try to work hard. Is this CVS protocol? Emotionally beat your workers to get the job done?... I checked the guys name. His name tag had a really long Indian name that starts with an H.... name tag shows he was a pharmacist named Har(something?) A. If anyone in corporate or someone in this specific store sees this review, I'd love to talk to you about how you treat your workers mirrors how you care for your customers. read more

The facility was clean and service was good except do not transfer any rx unless you want to wait days for it,

The service has spiraled down zero stars especially after pharmacist Kent Y, Gene W, Chris W, and other pharmacist that cared about people either retired or transferred. This actually would receive zero star rating if it was an option. Two back to back experiences that were so bad I transferred my scripts to the Safeway Pharmacy. Pharmacy staff needs customer service training. They can start by learning to say " I am sorry that despite your appointment online our system won't allow your child to receive a shot" or "I am sorry, despite the phone call you received the rx isn't ready and we can no longer fill your doctor's rx" instead of "read the sign, it is posted right there". Like you can't read the stupid sign unless you come into your store wait in a long line and get treated rudely by an asshole (in my opinion) of a pharmacist. OMG really. Bring back people that care. read more

The lines to pick up through the drive through are ridiculous. Half the time the staff ignored you if you are at the window. Then the other half the time they can't find someone's prescription so instead of having them pull off to the side they keep the person waiting at the window while the line backs up. Then of course since the line is backed up cars are blocking the first driveway having people who want to come in through that way blaring their horns at you when there is nothing you can do. read more

My go to pharmacy!! staff is very nice and courteous the best service I've had at any pharmacy in town. Accessible right off the freeway; drive thru usually makes for a quick and easy in and out prescription pick up. I'm here at least twice a month. read more

I want to say that CVS on 2605 West March Ln. is the slowest pharmacy ever to get a prescription filled it takes approximately two days I think that is unsatisfactory people need their meds within a reasonable time after the doctor sends a request to get the prescription filled this is not the first time that I've encountered this CVS needs to hire more people and be more professional their phone system also is horrible you cannot get a live person the recording eventually hangs up on you I tried five times yesterday and never reached a live person CVS if you want to continue doing business you need to improve 1000% I am 1000% unsatisfied with your service read more

The pharmacy is way, way too busy. Employees could care less about anyone. They are too focused on getting the next task accomplished in way, too little time. I'll be 60 years old in May, and a 30 something-year-old treated me like I was insignificant. This is not a good place. This is a bad place. This is a brand new store. yes- completely new construction (they moved from the back of the quail lakes shopping center and right up to the front of the intersection of march & quail lakes) This store may be only a month old and it already looks HORRIBLE. gum stained sidewalks, trash blowing everywhere. It's great that this location is open 24 hours but the selection of merchandise is limited for some reason. Being so close to I-5 you'd think they'd have more stuff to offer. For example I usually get allergy medicine that ha the CVS logo brand but they don't carry it at this location. Sometimes homeless people will wait around near cars asking for money. Perfect store to get your essentials when you forget your travel accessories. This store is brightly lit, very organized and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Walking out with toiletries, gallons of water, and a 12 pack of Stella didn't hardly cost me nothing at all. And for a second I forgot I was in Stockton, the hospitality was first rate and couldn't have been any more helpful. Very clean, very spacious, very pleasant experience shopping here! Large ingress/egress and plenty of parking in the complex for ease of customers. Very convenient and definitely a first stop for me when I'm in the 209! read more

I was turned away for the second time in 5 months trying to fill my perception here. The first time was with workers comp insurance; I moved from L.A. and had always picked up my medicine at any CVS out there with no problem over the years of my injury. I was told that my insurance was inactive then they asked me who my insurance was with. When I told them, the Asian man in the drive thru told me that I was lying and that I needed to call my lawyer. I contacted my lawyer whom contacted the workers comp insurance provider whom then said that my insurance information is not inactive; they said that this CVS is mistaken. Fast forward to months later, I left the emergency room last night and was not able to get my medicine from the doctor. I used my work insurance (I am gainfully employed full time) this time and was told that they do not have the medicine that I was asking for. I was told that one of the prescriptions could be filled over the counter but the dosage was higher which is why they gave me a subscription. So they wanted me to pay out of my pocket for what I pay monthly out of my paycheck to get insurance for. I'm addition, they told me that they had the pepcid available to fill but they would not fill the prescriptions because it would look STRANGE to fill one prescription at one place and another with them. CVS sent me to save Mart next door; save mart mentioned that they along with Walgreens are the biggest drive stores in the area and would have it but they have sent a lot of people that they do not want to.... Deal with to them. SMH. Dear CVS, I am doubled covered and not a Medicare/Cal insurance holder (which you also ask me although my insurance card clearly showed that I am not.). Profiling your guest who are the mercy of you is sad and beyond unacceptable. I used to go into CVS for my other needs but I will no longer support this store location. I am in pain as I write this at Walgreens. Walgreens also thought your procedures of doing things were not as pharmacy's work. I've shopped in this store numerous times and for the most part find the staff good and product mix adequate. The store appears clean and organized. I complain lies with management, I take exception with the fact that so many products are kept on the sales floor under lock and key. I went in today for razor blades and if took some time to find someone to help me who then had to locate a key for the cabinet. I do understand security issues but I feel that there should be a better way that is not such an inconvenience to the customer. read more

Don't bother with this Pharmacy it took TWO WEEKS for them to fill out a prescription for my Fiancé. They gave us "insurance" and "doctor sign offs" as excuses but we were in contact with his doctor's office the whole time and it was neither of those issues. Great pharmacy staff. Things will get busy if you come during rush hours (ie after work and Mondays). But they do their best to accommodate you. Also 24 hours with 2 drive thru pharmacies. Also calling ahead will save you time if you're unsure of what you need to pick up or if it's not on automatic refill. The staff seem to all get along well and they get your prescription ready as quick as they can. But mind you, this is a busy store. Front store: Same as above- they're friendly and try to serve you as fast as they can when things get hectic. read more

Why I don't shop at CVS in Stockton. First, they almost NEVER have advertised sale items in stock because they don't limit the number of items a person can buy. So crazy couponers come in and clear the shelves leaving nothing for the rest of us. Second, I was in the Quail Lakes store today. I bought a bag of chips but didn't know it was BOGO and the cashier never said a word. When I came back in the next cashier said he'd have to start all over and I'd have to return with my card. I just said forget it. This is why RITE AID is now my Store of Choice. read more

Not impressed with the Pharmacy have had numerous issues in regards to medication refills. I placed a request for medication refill and employee informed me medication was on recall. Then explained my other medication would be ready Friday it was Friday? She then proceeded to tell me I could call another location for my med or maybe go to another pharmacy? I spoke with pharmacist (Smitty) who then made me even more concerned as he was mixing up my medication? After much frustration I asked him to notify my doctor that my medication was recalled and for him to locate another location to fill my script. Smitty was able to fill my back order script at another location. I still had to drive to that location get my script and come to this location to get my other medication. I have no idea why this site always has backorders on their medication. This whole ordeal is very concerning all the more concerning was the fact that the pharmacist was so confident explaining to me what my medication was for, when it was not the correct medications?? Then when I called him out on it he had the audacity to inform me he was confusing patients?? Wow!! read more

If i could i would give the pharmacy zero stars. The associate Tiffany R. In the pharmacy area is very rude. She does not know how to talk to customers and when she was in the wrong she continued to argue with me. Im sorry but what happened to customer service? This associate needs to be retrained. She got ghetto when me and my mother questioned about the insurance coverage and how she did not say the price of medication. She told my mother her card was for hospital not medicine. We pointed out the pharmacy coverage on the card and proceeded to try and argue how we were wrong. When you tell a customer rx costs 131 not 1.31 of course im going to question why its so high. When i told her she was rude and asked where i can make a complaint about her attitude towards customers she rolled her eyes and said at cvs.com i asked is that all i need she said thats all i need to tell you. When a pharmacist stepped in she kept making dumb comments trying to make what she said ok and i quickly stopped her by say ok bye Tiffany and she finally walked away. This is the 2nd time dealing with this rude associate. CVS needs to hire employees with manners not some rude immature girl who dont know how to talk to customers. I go here every month and having worked in a Pharmacy for years I know "what's going on back there" when people don't think their prescriptions are getting done or should be done faster. That being said, this is probably the best Pharmacy in Stockton hands down. The whole staff is very dedicated and truly makes you feel like your health is their top priority. The front end is very clean, but could use a little more staff at cashier at times. All in all I feel like I am truly in good hands at this Pharmacy, and that sense of good will and competence is worth any small wait I may endure. read more

I LOVE this CVS. I like the new store (since it use to be further back in the quail lakes shopping center,) very clean and organized, and super great sales! I never walk out of the store spending more than $20 on household items and beauty/ oral hygiene products! I never use the pharmacy since I have Kaiser... They do seem short staffed in the cashier dept, but has gotten better since they switched the multiple lines to only 1 big line. Overall, my favorite drugstore in Stockton! read more

Stop hiring dumbass pharmacy "technicians" from carrington college or whatever. Day one. I transferred my persecriptions from rite aid to cvs due to insurance changes. The girl, who's name I did not a catch, told me it would take 24-48 hours to process. Ok. Understood. 48 hours later I called back and spoke to a guy name PATRICK. He told me they were waiting for insurance to cover and rite aid to send info. Ok? I called rite aid and told them, they say they already sent everything. I call cvs the next day, spoke to a girl name TANH. We went over everything, she asked for my insurance? Then I thought, why didn't that guy Patrick just ask for my insurance? So TANH said she get it ready in ten minutes. Never called or receive any notifications. Next day, I showed up and ask for my stuff. Spoke to a Cambodian girl, she told me "out of stock. It'll be ready Saturday". Ok. This point I'm getting frustrated. Saturday comes, I called, I spoke to a guy name LARRY. He told me no shipment comes in on the weekends, and I told him what the girl told me. And he was just as clueless. So he told me Monday. I called Monday spoke a guy I couldn't quite understood what his name was. He told me, no shipment until next week. So I got mad and yelled at him and asked to speak to a supervisor. He had the audacity to give me attitude and get sarcastic with me. Then all of a sudden, shipment came in-- he didn't "check". No fucking shit. All of a sudden it arrived and it'll be ready for me in 30 minutes. They been giving me the run around for 2 weeks. Fucking with people's medication and lives.
