I can always count on this place...having long lines or not having what I need. I haven't seen chicken noodles in here in months. Most of the high demand products lack restocking schedules. I also find myself looking at small orders for high demand products. Please re/stock higher demand products frequently.

Food 4 Less in Eastland Plaza in Stockton, California. Hey I shop to save and at food 4 less I save a grip. Back in the day this was our go to store because we didn't live too far from here. They sell everything from mayonnaise to butter. When I'm in the mood for some top ramen and hot dogs. I'll slide on through and get my daily fix. I'm a bit sad because they don't sell the infamous food for less Chinese food here. That's the real bummer, the Chinese food is on hit especially when you have the drunchies Note: Drunchies is like munchies but your buzzing or drunk lol. When I'm about to get my swerve on. Food 4 less carries the drinks of choice. What I like about food 4 less is they keep it OG, because they still carry 32 ounces of beer and 40 ounces, that's my type of stuff. I could go on and on about King Cobra and Mickey's 40 oz's of freedom. Pretty much write a thesis on how to brown bag it and sip on dem 40's :) Note: But hey if the people want it then let me know. So I could write a review on a liquor store and show you all how to post up like a mailbox while sipping on that drank. Back on track :) the parking lot is always packed. Inside when I come its not really dirty or beat down or anything like that. I fit right in with everybody that shops here. Maybe that's why I prefer this location a little bit better than the one on March lane. So yeah when you're planning your next party or your future backyard boogie. You can get all your supplies here. Get your drank get your Carlo Rossi and get your hot dogs. Shoot they even sell pinatas too. So yeah I'll definitely be coming back. Sandwich stuff for a week=$17. Can't complain. Wouldn't know about that sweet deal if I missed the heckin sign though.

Pretty upscale market with a nice deli and bakery for this area. I'd say real close to Whole Foods…read morequality and the prices match. But this local indy store has been around in this town for over 55 years, so it is well deserved for them to be a local fave. I only got a sandwich for the road and a bakery item, so no significant grocery shopping. I was traveling back home and didn't have a cooler so I refrained. But next time if I have a cooler, their meat counter will get exercised. Got a Salami Sandwich ($11/4*) from their deli and it was pretty solid. Every sandwich is customized, so every customer fills out a card, checks off your preferences and hand it over to a deli clerk. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just your basic sandwich stuff, but with quality and fresh ingredients. I liked everything in my sandwich, was even to put alfalfa sprouts in it, as I haven't had that option in over a decade. I wished there would have been an option to add oil n vinegar to make it more 'Italian' tasting, so I had to settle on just mayo and mustard, which is more classic American tasting to me. Still a solid sandwich that I was able to eat in 2 intervals so a decent value in my book. Coffee Crunch Cake ($7/3.5*) Very impressive tall cake with a very moist crumb. A little too industrial tasting for me but better than other grocery cakes like Safeway, which taste like plastic to me, so many additives and stabilizers. Cake part had a light chocolate taste, but maybe it was supposed to be more coffee-like? I couldn't taste any coffee except for this super hard and sweet candy on top used for garnish. Indeed that candy offered a 'crunch' element but in a very cloying and awkward way. Sure it was nice and glossy and even resembled shiny coarse stone like obsidian. But to take a bite that big of hard candy to go along a delicate cake was just too extreme for me. I think if that candy were in smaller chunks, more like a crumb texture, it would disperse more sending coffee flavor more evenly and not risk breaking a tooth on that hard sweet candy. I had higher hopes for this. Gawked at their butchers counter and it was pretty darn impressive, Pretty high quality stuff but also insanely expensive. Steaks start at $20 per pound and easily rises double to triple from there. But they got some serious cut steaks here, like 2-3 inch thick cuts and they even have a couple versions of wagyu steaks. Nothing is prewrapped, everything has to go through a clerk. Produce section just meh and regular. Well kept but Safeway may have a more extensive produce section. Dry goods definitely Whole Foods level. They seem to have a guy out front bbqing meats like sausages and tri-tip, like 7 days a week, which is impressive. I got there around 11 am and the employee was just setting up. Otherwise I may have tried something. Cool store, that if this were in my town, I'd be a reg. Since I was just a passing traveler, just call me impressed.

I visited this location while visiting a family member and WHOA. This place is even bigger and more…read moreexciting than I could have expected. I love to cook, so of course grocery shopping is fun to me. Their house generic goods usually cost a fraction of the price that competitors charge (including the other store that starts with a W!) Make sure to hit up the bulk bins. I bought about 2.5 weeks worth of groceries -- including cheese and some delightful chocolate wafers -- for under $65. I even found some brands and products that I can't easily find in my own area (Contra Costa County.) At checkout time, things move pretty smoothly and efficiently. My checker was friendly and super speedy. I was able to bag up my own groceries out of the way of the next shopper, which I think keeps the lines running quickly. I'll definitely be coming back again!

So today at around 2 pm, I went in and bought cream cheese, bread, Diet Coke mini's, Coke mini's,…read moreand fruit snacks. I get to the register and the worker RoseMarie was my cashier. A lady in front of me had an adorable baby so I complimented her on how beautiful her daughter and said that my biggest dream is being a wife and a mom. Rosemarie looked at me with disgust when I had said that. Then when I paid for my things, I had NO POCKETS so I had to pull the money from my bra and she got disgusted and said "I have to touch that. That's disgusting" and proceeded to put on hand sanitizer in front of me. May I add, I took an hour long shower before leaving my house to be met with horrible, rude, bitter woman. Winco HR please look into her customer service background because I'm pretty sure she has none. She is rude. I'm 24 years old and I have more respect than her. And lady, grow up. You made my day absolutely horrible in the worst way possible.
