Absolutely ZERO customer service at this CVS! It's the one on Laurel Canyon and Ventura Blvd. There are no people working the registers and it's completely unorganized. I think the biggest problem is that there is just a lack of man-power in the store, and there were NO carts! The entire store is very cluttered and I had to just walk out because I wasn't getting helped. Overall it just was not a good situation. I will not be going back there! read more

Just been switch by Blue Cross to CVS as the preferred pharmacy. On hold for the pharmacy 30 minutes at this point. Don't know how much longer I can wait. And can't imagine it's going to get better from here. Bad start. read more

Need your Flu Shots!!! I suggest you go to RITE AID!!! This isn't the 1st time I walk out of this place disappointed... The costumer service here is equivalent to 0. I waited for over 45 min to get my flu shot, they made me go back and fort from the pharmacy counter to the min clinic and finally when they called my name I was told they're out of the vaccine??? The 24 Hour CVS located at 12100 Ventura Blvd, Studio City is endangering their customers by being too cheap to hire a security guard for every night of the week. They only have a guard four days a week and so Corporate CVS is aware of the danger. I am used to homeless here in in L.A., but an army of drunken, aggressive, post-apocalyptic looking panhandlers at my local CVS is too much!!! This CVS needs to step up and hire a nightly guard before someone gets hurt! read more

Friendly stuff, helped me with my pictures printing request, I did not wait too long. The guy I forgot his name ( dark hair young one) helped me even with picking a cologne for my dad's gift I forgot I needed to buy and I did not have time to go to Macy's for that. I've been going to this pharmacy for over 10 years and it used to be great, but over the years not so much anymore. The pharmacy has made mistakes with my prescriptions in the last few months and tries to blame it on my doc or the insurance. I dislike it when people don't own up to their mistakes we are all human...I get it they are always so busy but make sure you double check what you do...I think I will be transferring my stuff to the Sherman Oaks store which is closer to me and they are much nicer too. read more

If I could leave one star, I would. The pharmacy staff here is consistently rude and unhelpful. They will not answer the phone; you can easily wait on hold 15-20 minutes or more. One pharmacy tech in particular, a middle aged dark haired woman with an accent, treats customers like this is the Soviet Union. She acts put upon if you ask a simple question, even when she is working the "consultation"window. No wonder CVS is getting wiped out by Walgreens! read more

Store is clean and organized but lots of employees working and no one comes to help their specific department...stood at dental section for 10 mins after ringing for service to get a cabinet of replacement tooth-brushes opened. No one came, even employees in ear and eye-shot never responded.. Left without the purchase. read more

if there was an option to leave a zero star, I would. Employees are not professional and not honest. My dad dropped a sealed envelop with $341 in it. They found it, opened it and returned $41. Video recording shows them picking up an envelop and putting it in a safe; however, they thought it would be appropriate to take $ 300 for themselves. Spoke to the manager, and he refused to deal with the situation. Best answer I got from them was "call the police". This is not an appropriate way to deal with customer issues. Would not go back to that store again. read more

Out of all the cvs stores in my area I find this location to be the best. The store is laid our well and they did some minor renovations inside so it looks fairly updated. All my usual products that I purchase in the beauty section are always in stock. I especially prefer the pharmacy here. It's 24 hours and the pharmacy staff are always friendly and helpful. I tried the location across the street the the people working in the pharmacy there seemed impatient and didn't offer the same level of customer service as this location. Once in awhile there is not enough people working in the pharmacy so the wait can be a little longer than normal. Other than that this is my go to store. read more

When it comes to convenience, it's hard to beat a CVS location on Ventura and Laurel Canyon especially with plenty of parking in the back. It has all the basic amenities, you've come to expect: Pharmacy, booze, snacks, beauty, etc. The downside, you'll regularly find 1 or 2 panhandlers at either entrance and another 1 or 2 stumbling about the aisles and restrooms of the stores. read more

This pharmacy is incredibly understaffed and in a constant state of confusion. I was prescribed 3 types of eye drops and they only gave me 1. I discovered this when I got home, and had to go back, drive around for 20 min for a parking space, and wait another 20 minutes while they worked everything out. It makes me nervous that a pharmacy would make careless errors!! Update- the pharmacy accidentally sold me 3 of the same eye drop instead of 1 of each of the eye drops I was prescribed!! I had to open the bag myself and discover this. Do not go there, an intern fillied this!! read more

Great staff, always extra things on clearance, and the shelves are always stocked. Lose one point because I wish they were 24 hrs.

Be aware, the pharmacy is not open 24 hrs per day and you will not find pharmacy hours of operation anywhere online for this location.

I'm constantly blown away at how friendly and accommodating the staff is. The pharmacy is so nice and will acknowledge that you're waiting. The staff will greet you when you walk in. Much appreciated, most places aren't like this. 5 stars!!!! read more

Second worst CVS in the area. Convenient location but just a few negatives: pharmacy is horrible. Have brought 4-5 prescriptions here over the years. Extremely slow service. Store layout is awful. Self checkout machines never are turned on. At night they have a EXTREMELY loud buzzer that sounds when you enter. It's speaker is right on the sensor so it literally hurts your ears. Worst of all, their prices are higher than any other location I've ever been to and online (counting Manhattan and Beverly Hills). A face lotion I was going to buy is $5 more here than in West Hollywood or online. And they don't do price matching. Most products here are more expensive; everything from candy to hairspray. And when I asked about the price thing, they were rude. CVS corporate... Close this mother down. There's another CVS across the street. Literally across the street. read more

Disappointed in the way the place is run... ordered some photo work online and came to pick it up at this store.... they totally messed up the entire order and told us to come back later so they can fix the problem, we get a call that the photo machine was down and that we had to return back to the store to get a refund since they couldnt make the order deadline. When we returned to the store they wouldnt refund us the money we paid for the work they messed up on and kept trying to insist they could fix the issue. We advised them it was too late to reslove the issue and wanted our money back. The manager at the time, Fernando, stated because we did not have a bar code on the receipt they could not refund us the money. We showed him the online order number and even had the photo order they messed up on right there in the store... he gave us an 800 number to call but honestly this store and the way its managed has disappointed all our expectations... shop walgreens read more

Without fail, I have waited upwards of 30 minutes before getting far enough in the line to actually speak to someone let alone drop-off or pick-up my prescription. I don't know if their techs are just that thorough or move that slow, but I could never understand why the process took so long each & every time. Yet, as frustrating as it is, you can't beat the convenience of the location in the heart of Studio City. And everyone is very nice which helps. Side note: The parking is terrible but I suppose that's just run-of-the-mill for the area. Can't say it's the worst, but definitely not the best. Try a smaller place for your medicinal needs if you can. ...still waiting in line as I write this. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I've had multiple incidents with the pharmacists and have complained multiple times. Customer service is HORRIBLE and if anything ever goes wrong the customer is targeted or blamed. The wait is usually ridiculously long as well (like others have previously stated). This is one of the most friendly stores that I have been to in the chain. They are extremely helpful. That being said this place desperately needs to be renovated you would think it was in the ghetto. Can you say "I need a pressure wash outside?" Lol but really the inside just feels like it's not permanent and it needs help. We have gotten prescriptions here before and the staff is so nice but did mess up twice and we had to go back and show them what they did and they had to fix it. That is not good news. That being said, they have huge potential for customer service. read more

The pharmacist named Lucein (sp?) was rude, unfriendly and very unprofessional. In addition, both times I've been to this store I was charged far more than the listed price for products when I reviewed my receipt. They tried to tell me it was mismarked and tried not to honor the price tags. This place is badly managed and infuriating as a customer. Save yourself the frustration by going to one of the numerous other (better) competitors nearby. read more
