The doctors, nurses, and support staff are overwhelmingly professional, helpful, and congenial. The Navy Yard location is a fabulous option to Jefferson's facilities in central Philadelphia. There's plenty of free parking on the streets surrounding the facility, in a secure, and beautifully landscaped, and creatalytically designed campus-like environment. Once you enter the modern glass building structure, in any area is new furniture that is phenomenally maintained, consistent with the overall extreme cleanliness of the facilities due to a superb maintenance team. There are charging stations for your electrical devices throughout the facility, along with a café, a large reception area, with staff and clear signage to guide you. The common areas are literally cleaner than some apartment buildings, and hotel/motel facilities! There's plenty of seating in waiting areas. All doctors I've seen don't keep patients waiting unreasonable wait times. The standard of care provided by Jefferson Health's doctors and nurses is truly astounding.

I was conversing with the woman behind the counter, and I asked her if she needed my ID. I produced my out of state Virginia drivers license immediately. She rejected it stating they do not accept out of state drivers licenses. I am a 28 year old married woman. I was buying Black Box Rosè. I'm not some child trying to break the law or I wouldn't have been having a 10 minute casual conversation. I proceeded to plead my case to this person, as I had no time to stop elsewhere. I continued to produce identification with pictures, and then I was questioned about why my last name was different on my license ... maybe because I got married? This was literally the most insulting experience of my life. Then, my mom who is a KG resident called to voice a complaint about the whole experience. She was told off by the ignorant owner or manager, like she wasn't a patron. They clearly do not know that the customer is always right and they really do not care if you present valid ID. The owner/manager literally said, "we will serve whoever we want - we are a private business." Sounds a little discriminatory to me ... DO NOT SUPPORT THEM!

Well half way through cutting the cake during the party we hit the unexpected chocolate half. Since we are a vanilla cake family, had no use for the chocolate half but I did purchase and wanted a whole cake. Everything sat well with me, except the egg. I was feeling under the weather on my flight the day after. This happened even though the protein box had not expired at time of purchase. Bad bad. If there are too many for the que monitor to display all at once, the associates should be pushing the red arrow button to manually go through the orders placed to check. I am sometimes left waiting upwards of 30-45 minutes just to be told they are out. Not good time to receive order. Such a wait to NOT get a medium mac and cheese and a soup? My time does have some value Oaklyn Wawa. Check the screens and announce when you're out sooner please. It was such a quick and short order. Items need to be locked as soon as the associates see that they cant fill the orders farther in the que. I came during the dinner rush yes, but this is only a consistent problem at the Oaklyn location. This is not convenience. While I genuinely feel bad recommending that people go elsewhere, until this location can get the dropping and locking of food under control, I say check out a different Wawa. It is a difficult task ensuring consistent and proper product availability, but it is very possible and necessary.
