The CVS inside Target has really gone downhill in the last year. The staff has changed. Every once in a while, there is a familiar face, but mostly new faces. Update: Most of my prescriptions are for 90 days, so when one of those was filled in September, I was surprised that this pharmacy filled it again in October. But the insurance wouldn't pay as it was too soon, so they applied some kind of discount card for the prescription, just filled a month earlier, that I did not need. I contacted the pharmacy multiple times by calling and messaging to get it fixed, but all I kept getting were text updates to come pick it up, and it would be held for so many days. CVS Customer Service even told me that this was taken care of. But even after the hold time, they still tried to give me that prescription. The prescription wasn't filled when it should have been with my insurance come renewal time, so I had to order it manually. The website doesn't always let you log in. I even typed a note for them to call me and file with my insurance this time. I knew they didn't, so when I went to pick it up, it was still through the discount card. They tried to tell me that was my insurance. I mentioned that if it had been filed with my insurance, it would have been a different price. So the cashier didn't know what to do, and another employee had to fix it all and file with my insurance. It has been a big headache that I've dealt with for two months now. I'm not sure who is hiring these people but they are making huge mistakes. On my most recent visit, I had a vaccine scheduled at 10:30am. I arrived earlier than that time and stood in the area I was instructed to, only to be ignored for almost 30 minutes. The pharmacist during that time even asked me to move so that she could go to the restroom. Never once during that time did anyone ask if they could help me. The customers waiting in the pharmacy line noticed me, though, and wondered what was going on. I waited until 10 minutes after my appointment time to speak up as by that point it was getting ridiculous. I was ready to leave. It was 10:52am when I finally got my injection, and there was no apology for the wait or the delay. It is time to find a more professional pharmacy. read more

I'm no longer going to CVS for my prescriptions. The staff is unpleasant and the cost is higher than elsewhere. When I asked a staff member to check the cost on GoodRx, you would have thought I asked for her first born! And now you have to check in on an IPad. I've checked out for good! read more

I am extremely disappointed in the AI-"powered" phone system. I literally just wanted to see what prescription had been filled which I had received a text about. I called the pharmacy, which had no option to speak to the pharmacist, the only thing I needed. It was an extremely frustrating experience to get through the phone "system", then I was forced to leave a voicemail. I have done business with CVS for years, but am now seriously considering moving my prescriptions because of this 20 minute, 2 phone call ordeal to accomplish something that should have taken 5 minutes. That's great that you're busy and need help from an automated system with the phone, but my time is also valuable. read more

I attempted to pick up my medication from this pharmacy. During the process, I had a few questions regarding the prescription as well as my coverage from insurance. The technician consistently rolled her eyes anytime I spoke, made faces at her coworker, and had poor body language the entire interaction. She then proceeded to tell me "since I made her rip the prescription label off and open the box to answer my questions, she now needed the pharmacist to refill a new medication request and told me I would now have to wait 30-45 minutes". Regardless of this specific situation, I have always felt this CVS location has treated me and my family terrible. We will no longer be a customer at this location nor any CVS. read more

CVS pharmacy staff was unhelpful while trying to refill the perscription my vet had opened for our dog. Very dismissive when telling me they did not have the item in stock. She then tried to end the call without following up on when they would get the item in stock. I called out her dismissive attitude and told her that her job is customer service, and that I want to know when the item will be in. She hung up on me. Very poor service.... I'll be looking to do business elsewhere. read more

What a great experience at the CVS pharmacy inside Target at 12000 Retail Drive, Wake Forest, NC, 27587. The pharmacist who administered my RSV shot--Lauretta--was exceptional in every way--in knowledge, technique, personality, timeliness, and focus. Not only did she get me in and out without a hitch--and pain free--but she held my attention with her witty, ebullient, and professional manner. absolutely awful customer service from the pharmacist. no greeting after the wait music stops, so they catch a damn attitude when they say "hello" ... impatient, rude, attitude problems, they don't want to help you whatsoever on the phone. i just needed my medicine transferred to another location and filled today. once she was finished she just hung up, when i wasn't even done and had another question. no customer service skills At all. find literally ANY OTHER pharmacy to get your medication filled because they don't care to help or be patient if you are having trouble. read more

Worse service by the new staff. 2 mins before lunch and they said they're closed. Lunch is from 1:30 to 2:00pm. It was a simple pick up. This location seriously need to be re-evaluated. read more

Set up an appointment to get my flu and shingles vaccinations. Received confirmations and reminders to show up. When i arrived, they had no idea who i was and they were out of the vaccinations. I was told to show up the next day so i can stand in line for them. Don't recommend the CVS website. Go to Walgreens, they were able to assist. read more

Hunter is a great worker. He helped me checkout today and even made me laugh. He thought my name was Santa Maria lol. These masks don't help. Conversations like this made my day and definitely can make others days too!!! read more
