Long lines, understaffed. Never go without 20-30 people on the pharmacy lines. They have one or two at the counter when they need 3-4. I spent 35 minutes yesterday to pick of a prescription. The half hour closing of the pharmacy is not feasible with the sheer volume of customers. They need to change something very soon, this is unsustainable to stay profitable. read more

I had a very upsetting experience at this location today. My family has been using CVS in Wantagh for over 30 years and recently my dad got sick and was hospitalized for 2 months. He got released from the hospital and is not able to drive and has family who helps him but I had called the pharmacy and was desperate to see if someone would be able to help me get his prescription delievered to him. I explained the above situation to the pharmacist Mora and there was absolutely no compassion or care for my situation. She wanted nothing to do with helping me or my father and told me to call CVS 1-800 number to help my my issue which was getting a card to be saved on his file, which I did and it showed setup on my end. I give people the benefit of the doubt as I work in healthcare myself but this encounter with Mora was so upsetting to me on top of already being in a vulnerable situation with my father. Please consider reviewing your pharmacy staff as I believe some do not have the customers best interest at heart which is upsetting. read more

I was there today to get my flu & Covid booster vaccines. I was very early. They took me right away. My husband as well. The pharmacist was so gentle, informative, patient and kind. While she was helping us there was a woman at the counter screaming at a cashier about her insurance. I witnessed so many people being outright rude and hostile to the employees. We can do better people. The same stuff making us stressed also stresses them. Yet they smile and say thank you. Thanks CVS employees for all your hard work. We see you! We appreciate you. read more

Joe the pharmacist went out of his way on a busy day at cvs to help my wife and I. I'm a fireman and she's a teacher so we have a hard time with the bills at times. We flew to New York for my grandfathers funeral and my wife needed her prescription sent to New York from Florida. The price was double the normal price $250 - he shopped coupons with us and got the medication switched to help us save money. Joe really helped us and made our day!!! This is my go to cvs to pick up prescriptions from and anything else I may need. However, today when shopping for Hanukkah wrapping paper, I was disturbed to find that they only had Christmas wrapping paper. I was very offended by this. I ended up getting generic wrapping paper to wrap my child's Hanukkah gifts. CVS should have wrapping paper for all holidays... not just Christmas. read more

My doctor sent 3 prescriptions, I went to pick them up and they only had 2, the 3rd one wasn't covered by insurance but they said they "never got it". My doctor called it in 2 more times, while I was there waiting so I know. The cashier said "ok I just got it so have a seat and we will have it ready in a few". 10 minutes later the pharmacist called me over and said they never received any prescription, I said to her the cashier just saw it come up in the computer, she said "well she was mistaken we never received it" My doctor warned me and said he would try again and if they say they never got it that they are lying because insurance won't cover it so they don't want to give it to me. And that's exactly what happened. Sketchy pharmacy, wouldn't trust them, lied directly to my face 3 times. Lost my business. read more

Don't bother using this pharmacy. After using them for 8 years for the same prescription, 4 continuous months of calling to check the status of an automatic refill I was given not only wrong information but told my drugs would be available on a specific day. Find out after not hearing back from anyone and having to make several phone calls multiple days in a row for them to inform me they will not be carrying my prescription anymore. NO one told me this and so now after 4 days past the date I was supposed to take the meds I am out of luck and have to go to a different pharmacy. After 4 months of the run around every time I needed to refill the drug you would think someone would have mentioned they are no longer carrying it. They don't care about your business they are a corporate conglomerate that doesn't care about the people they serve only their bottom line. read more

The staff of this pharmacy is the rudest I have ever encountered. From tossing my prescription background at me when the "didn't gave it for months" to refusing yo check stock at other cvs' around the area, which has been done before. They are rude, unhelpful and plain disgusting. read more

The drop off procedure for rx is way to long and then you have to wait to pick up your medicine. I know my insurance covers the antibiotics just let me drop it and go. Noone has time for this. read more
