For the love of God, how is this place still open? It needs to be demolished and that's no exaggeration. So I believe in giving second chances which I gave to this pharmacy I never wanted to use CVS however, when my job switched insurance, I didn't have a choice because they wanted to charge me more for my prescriptions if I went elsewhere. So of course, the first time filling my prescriptions here was a total disaster . They texted me to say that my prescriptions were ready. Great got in the car head up there. they messed up all my prescriptions and I ended up waiting there for about 40 minutes. I then didn't bother to look in the bag got out to the car and realized that they charged me for my third prescription but never put it in the bag so I had to go back and wait online again to get it filled correctly Now a month and a half later same thing I get a text message saying my prescriptions filled which I never ordered from there because I knew I was starting a new job and getting new insurance, but they decided to fill it anyway they then kept messaging me saying that they needed my insurance information. Meanwhile, I had no plan on going there to pick my prescriptions up ever again. Fast-forward to a doctors appointment he made a mistake. He sent my prescriptions there so I had no choice but to go there. This is where the nightmare started to get even worse once again got a text saying my prescriptions are ready . Get to the store. Wait online finally get up to the register. The first words out of my mouth are here you go. This is my new insurance information. They texted me that they needed it. The young lady looks at the card and says oh OK then proceeds to do something on the computer and then look up at me and say oh so you're one medication is $300. I then said why would it be $300 Rocket scientist says to me because you don't have insurance literally while she's holding my insurance card in her hand. I get sent to another line to speak directly to the pharmacist who then said that he had to refill all the prescriptions under my insurance so another half an hour wasted of my time. I finally go back up to the register I said is everything ready? Oh yeah, we just have to wait for a pharmacist because he has to give us an override because one is considered a narcotic so another 10 minutes passed and I say to the lady maybe if you weren't so busy asking every single person if they want a vaccine, you can concentrate on filling the prescriptions correctly. She just looked at me with that dumb look on her face once more. I am never going to the store again. I don't care if it's a bottle of water that I need I will not answer that place again. It is horrible. I don't even trust them when they fill my prescriptions so I actually dumped all my pills out and counted them and guess what I was short one. I'm not even gonna bother because it's not worth the aggravation. read more

They never open on time. Ever. You'll be standing outside 15 minutes past the open time. That's why I go to Walgreens. Tells you how poor of quality the store manager is. One day there were about 10 of us customers waiting outside. Both of the workers arriving late one woman, heavyset with blonde hair, and a male, thin, younger, walked up to the door to unlock it. The woman says to the male coworker, "Are you ready for the crazy day?" and I'm thinking; all you had to do was be on time, then you wouldn't have a crowd of people. read more

I'm writing this review about the CVS on Hamburg Turnpike in Wayne, NJ. I had a very disappointing experience with the shift manager -- the woman with blonde hair. She was extremely rude and unprofessional while I was simply trying to get the $10 ExtraBucks promotion after spending over $20. One of the employees clearly saw the items were mislabeled and agreed that the promotion should be honored. She was ready to help me, but the manager refused and spoke to both of us in a nasty and disrespectful tone. Even the employees admitted she is often rude, which says a lot. I work hard for my money, and I refuse to spend it somewhere that doesn't value its customers. Because of her behavior, I left the products I intended to buy. She definitely needs customer service training -- she works for the store, she does not own it. Employees like her will cost CVS loyal customers. Only gave it one star because the other employees were kind, I couldn't imagine what it's like to work with someone like her! Back to Walgreens and Amazon I go! read more

Very nice people but bad attitudes on part of management. They didn't have any of my prescriptions in stock. But Walgreens had every one. The gentleman standing next to me thought they were too lazy to get them. I went to Walgreens and they had every script in stock. read more

I have been going here for years and go here pretty often. The only bad experience I had is when they asked me for ID to buy NyQuil and it's pretty annoying when whatever you want to buy is locked up. I still use the Redbox outside from time to time, you can check Redbox.com to see what movies it has. They have a drive thru pharmacy if your too lazy to get out of the car. You can get all your toiletries and medicines here as well as some food and random household items. I go here whenever I want to get a photo printed. Some of their prices are high and their receipts are unnecessarily long but there are a lot of sales and this store is convenient. The store is always clean and the staff is always friendly I don't think they deserve the terrible reviews they have and I didn't even know they had a bathroom. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I've been trying to get my (mental health medication) renewed for 3 weeks. Running very low and calling them to get this fixed. I had to cut down so I could wean off the med instead of having to stop cold turkey when I ran out because that's not good to do with mental health meds. They were seriously not helping. I switched to another pharmacy and they called my dr, got the info, and I had what I needed in half an hour. Don't go to this pharmacy. Go literally anywhere else would be better. I won't even go to another CVS. This place SUCKS. SERIOUSLY SUCKS. I rage quit them and had the meds I needed in half an hour. Rather than 3 freaking weeks! Seriously. DO NOT GO TO THIS PHARMACY. Save yourself the rage quit. They're awful. Would give negative stars if I could. read more

$10.00 for a box of Cereal!! That's disturbing!!! Not to mention the self check out lines are ancient or broken 1/2 the time. They make You wait forever to pick up your prescription and make mistakes that no other place would. They need to get with the times and update read more

This store consistently stocks items that for whatever reason "cannot be sold." It happened to me twice within two weeks on two different first aid related items and as a result this location has officially lost my business. The Walgreens on Valley Road has better prices and will actually sell items they stock. if an item cannot be sold it should not be on the shelves. read more

I must say at the 11th hour, Melissa ( pharmacist) at the CVS pharmacy took the time & effort to resolve the insurance loaded in system so my two sick children can get their medication! Melissa was outstanding & god sent. Stressful situation when your kids are sick & the local pharmacies were all closing! Awesome customer service!! read more

No issues here, friendly staff and the pharmacy always has my prescriptions in a timely manner.

I was shocked at the lack of cleanliness of the store. The credit card reader had caked on filth on the buttons. When I brought this to the attention of a store employee he said I don't think anyone cleans here, and he said I'm not doing it. For a store that sells health care needs they really should have a clean store. I'm not going back there again. read more

Embarrassingly horrible customer service. Asked for help finding a popular item only for them to tell me if it's not there they didn't have it instead of offering to help me look like a decent employee would. Scoured the aisle and eventually found what I needed by myself. Go to Walgreen's in Haledon instead- much nicer staff. read more

They're always in a bad mood when their customers should be the ones in a bad mood. Had 3 medications called in at the EXACT same time, got a text from them (CVS) saying my prescriptions were ready. I arrived to find out only 1 prescription was ready and I would have to wait 20-30 min for the other 2 to be filled. Opted to come back the next day to pick up the other 2. Currently sitting here waiting 20 minutes because only ONE prescription was ready. Highly unorganized. Who manages this mess? read more
