This CVS is utter garbage in the way they treat their customers. I tried to have a prescription refilled and after two weeks of back and forth with my doctor, they denied it simply because my address was not in West Covina. They also lied about the reasons for denying my prescription, saying one thing to me and another to my doctor. Avoid this store at all costs and take your business to another CVS location, or better yet, Walgreens where I actually got my Rx refill authorized in less than two hours. read more

I waited 20 mins at the cold and flu medicine section, pressing at least 8 times and hearing some other people pressing help and some places. I needed to get other stuff too so doesnt make sense for me to line up and tell them to go help me, then coming back and line up again. This is unacceptable. I came to pick up my prescription, but didn't have my RX card. The clerk told me not to worry, and that I should pay full price now so I can have my meds and then to come back with my receipt for a price adjustment. Well I came back and now they said they don't do that. If they told me the truth before, I would have just gone home and picked up my RX card and come back to avoid paying 10 times more than I should have. read more

This is my go to place for photos. I do not use the pharmacy here or purchase much from this store but use the cvs in La Habra for my medications. The staff is always friendly and my photos are always done before the time the app gives you when you order. On occasion they seemed a bit short staffed cuz there will only be one cashier but other than that I haven't had any problems read more

I took my passport pictures and then when I went to the post office they said the background was grey and that they need just white I had to retake the photo with bad hair. I spent 30 dollars on each photo what a waste of money DONT TAKE YOU PICTURES HERE read more

Definitely visit when it's not busy. Good luck with that. There is always a line at the pharmacy. However, the pharmacy staff is always patient and calm as customers get irate for things that the pharmacy cannot control. There may also be a line at the other register. Most likely. I go to this CVS quite often. I stopped by today to pick up a few items, and I must've waited in line for 20 minutes. There was only one cashier for a long time before another finally came. What drives me crazy is that almost everything is locked up and you need to push a button so someone will come to unlock it. Sometimes, I have to push the button several times before anyone comes to help. It's so frustrating! There are a few long-time employees who are so friendly, but the newer employees are not friendly at all. read more

I am not one to leave a review unless the service is really good or terrible (Which in this case is the latter). I attempted to call in an Rx for a client and when the CVS pharmacy test/pharmacist answered they kept saying "I can't hear you" and then proceeded to place me on hold for 15 mins. Occasionally they'd pick up the line and put me right back on hold. I disconnected and called in again, this time a gentleman answered and let me know there was 1 person ahead of me and asked if I can be placed on hold to which I responded yes. After about 5 minutes a female answered and I let her know I was calling in an rx (to which she loudly huffed!) and proceeded to tell me that there were 10 other people waiting to be helped. She then asked if we can send it and I asked via fax? She said no electronically and I informed her we don't have the ability to do that. She then huffed again and said well you're going to have to wait and placed me on hold. I disconnected the call again. ` read more

I Love CVS this location has friendly employees, interior is clean w/ spacious isles. Stock has been LOW on a lot of stuff lately. Unfortunately the last couple of visits (3x in a month) the exterior has been filthy, disgusting stained sidewalks. Come on CVS do better pressure wash those sidewalks, empty trash cans & the same gross blanket has been there a whole week!! Luckily NO homeless sketchy characters outside except for man asking for signatures on a petition you encounter him going in & out of store. ZERO STARS. MARIA MARTINEZ should be removed immediately. She has no business working in a customer-facing role. I arrived at the drive-thru before lunch closing and waited patiently while the car ahead was being helped. The driver was elderly and took some time--I understood and waited my turn. But when it finally was my turn, MARIA KNEW I WAS BEHIND WAITING and still slammed the window shut without saying a single word. No explanation. No courtesy. Just flat-out disrespect. No self checkouts but their staff are nice. Got COVID vaccines here when they first came out and every single time was a pleasant experience. We get photos printed here from time to time, quality is not the best but their prices are very good. Highly recommend this location over Walgreens on Colima and Fullerton Rd. read more

Wow. CVS Pharmacies used to open late on weekends for awhile even during the earlier years of the Pandemic. This is my go-to CVS especially to print work pics, other pics or just to pick up a household item. Anyways, this CVS is like less than 10min of a drive from me. The staff have always been helpful and friendly. I wish they would go back to extended hours again on the weekends since some of us work full time, Monday-Friday.... This one time I was actually craving 'Chessman' as shown in the pic attached....I should find more pics than this snack one. read more

If I could give a zero, I would worst customer service ever I am a medical assistant that works at a nearby urgent care and we give them SOOO much service I just had to get in my car and drive Rx over because pharmacy staff Sonia wanted to be so rude every time our patients have a problem there it's with Sonia these people are sick and in pain and they just make it so hard no other pharmacy gives up problems like them. Customers...be aware of no return on Covid test kits here! I was hesitate to buy the test kit because it cost $20 for one box which included 2 test kits. All the Covid test kits are store at the cashier area, so I had to ask the cashier for it. The cashier told me I could get it for free through insurance company, but she doesn't deal with insurance. Anyways it's super pricy for a Covid test kit. She didn't mentioned anything to me that CVS does not take Covid test kit return. Within 10 minutes from purchase, I found out from a friend that I can get free Covid test kits in the library. So I went back to CVS to return since I was just in the parking lot, the same cashier clerk told me they have a no return policy on Covid test kits. I told her if that was the case, how come there are no signs there? She didn't even mentioned anything about no return when I bought it. They expect customers to know their no sign return policy?!? I asked to speak to the store manager, she claimed she is the manager. Obviously she needs more training on customer services. She did not inform this important information when that was the only item I brought. It was literally within 10 minutes I went to return the product and it was not open at all. CVS needs to train more qualified employees who value customer services. I felt deceived and disappointed at their customer services. That was total deception to customers! Please reconsider how you talk to people (the pharmy staff.) The gal with the glasses was the sweetest and most communicative person I had this morning. Unlike the first person I spoke with snapped at me for showing the wrong prescription. " that's not the prescription." Corrects herself saying she just got the prescription sent to them onfile. (Ok? why you need to be rude.) When I came to pick up she was extremely nice to the Asian elderly. Speaking to him in their language. Ahh yes, I totally understand. I must know my place. My elderly mother brought in 4 gallons of water to return along with receipt. Carolina, the store clerk decides to demand my mother for a valid ID in order to process the refund per store policy. What irks me is that my mother paid for the water in CASH but forgot her ID so Carolina had my mother wait there for 15 minutes while I brought the ID down there. I have had situations where when I return something to a store, if credit card I would be asked for ID. I have never had a situation where I paid in cash, and was asked to procure an ID. On the receipt it clearly shows that CAROLINA was the one that rung up the items on November 8th 2022. My mother brought it back November 12th, 2022 and it just happened to be the same person! I do Apologize to Carolina and Miguel for my raised voice. but honestly, I am a short guy and I do not think I sound in anyway menacing or threatening. Because I guess in my mind I hoped someone working there would be understanding of the situation and found a way to help my mother. My mother asked to see the manager Miguel, and Carolina informed her he was on lunch. When I got there, that's when Carolina decided to get Miguel, he was conveniently done with his lunch. As my mother finally received the $13 refund, I was walking out the door literally a foot away out, Miguel's other employee decides to yell at me. I am utterly disappointed with Miguel's management as his employee named Junior was mere inches away from Miguel, raising his voice at me as I was only speaking with Miguel and Carolina. Junior was never involved with my situation with the refund and yet he thought it was necessary to raise his voice at me while he had a customer in front of him. I thought that was unprofessional and menacing. I think that CVS should look into this store as I would be displeased if found that Miguel or his employees have ever disregarded the third party verification in the past for previous customers, and they were picking and choosing who they help. There used to be a very nice lady who was always helpful and patient at the pharmacy side but too bad I don't see her working anymore every time I'm there. There are now very impatient and unhappy workers greeting me every time I pick up my meds. There's this girl, Chloe that seems to always have an attitude and seems pissed off all the time. She'll snap at you and when she says she'll do what's requested, then end up not doing it. Such a pity this CVS sucks due to the majority of the employees being unhappy. This CVS Pharmacy are very bad to Customer. I been calling and go there to try to get help. The person working in there are mad and yelling.

It's a tough time right now, and pharmacies are definitely being pounded. Cliff notes version: will visit in the future. Long(er) review: I've had to rely on this particular CVS for over 10+ years for either my medication or my mother's. Pre-COVID, dropping off a prescription did take some waiting depending on how many other people are ahead of you. With more modern day conveniences compared to what was available 20 years ago, it's much more easier to get prescriptions ordered, transferred, or referred. Picking up prescriptions pre-COVID was pretty straightforward. Go in the line for pickup, verify what you're getting, sign for it, pay for it, and leave. Post-COVID, dropping off and picking up prescriptions are basically the same, but with social distancing in effect, masks (fully covering mouth and nose) required, and plastic coverings separating the pharmacists from the customers. They are strict about masks, so please make sure to wear them. In my unpopular opinion, when considering the number of sick people that come by, it is completely in their right to request customers to abide by the safety requirements. Pre-COVID and post-COVID, I've never had any issues with the pharmacists. They've always had long hours, long shifts, and they have to deal with the bureaucracy of health insurances, reading doctor scribbles, and a general amount of customers that may not be able to pay for medication. Some that I have dealt with look exhausted or "done" with the day, but they remain professional and assist as needed. Regarding prices for the prescriptions, I will say that CVS will not be the cheapest. I've had to check GoodRX for all pharmacy prices, and there are occasions where going to a different pharmacy will save you a good amount. Outside of the pharmacy services, this CVS does have basic essentials in case you just need whatever. Vitamins, drinks, snacks, milk, toiletries, cosmetics, first aid, gifts, etc. Some things may not be exactly what you're looking for, but this isn't Amazon. Consequently, there may be some items that are cheaper elsewhere but, again, they have the general necessities. read more

We have shopped here frequently for the past several months. There were changes to our health insurance flex card and it can only be used in CVS now for OTC products; so we are coming here more often than before. Each time, the staff at front cash register is very friendly and helpful. Several weeks ago, we had issues with a nutrition product we purchased, the store manager, a young lady, resolved it very quickly in just a few minutes. The only thing is they do not have self checkout machines at this location, so you might have to wait in line for a little bit when it's busy, but it's usually not an issue at all. read more

Since this CVS is near where I live, I am often found here when our family needs to fill our medication or for any quick stop for household items. The shelves here have been changed and it took a bit getting used to, as the shelves are taller than before but there are more products now on shelves! The pharmacy staff are always very helpful and always willing to answer any questions you may have. Albeit there are a few who may not be so willing but the majority are wonderful! If you go often, they'll even start to greet you by your first name. It really is like a family, an extended family of your own, as they are helping take care of you -- your well-being. For the store itself, some of the items are a bit overpriced but it is CVS and it is more for convenience than anything. Of course, do not forget to scan your CVS card! Those coupons and receipts are the longest you'll ever receive, from any store! CVS often sells holiday items in a few of the aisles and it is always fun to check out what they have. A year or so ago, CVS committed their business to being a healthier example so one will not find cigarettes, chewing tobacco, and etc here. There is usually plenty of parking and it makes one's trip more convenient. read more

I'm doing this because I see a lot of bad reviews on the pharmacy... I feel people should be more patient with people that are handling your medicine and also making sure they don't lose their job from giving you medicine you were prescribed...THIS PLACE IS NOT A FAST FOOD RESTAURANT. Pharmacy The pharmacist at this cvs is rude and bias against all people who are not Asian or English speaking. She is very shady with customer who have questions about their medication. She's bothered by all or any questions the customer may have. The pharmacist refused to fill my prescription when sick with Covid 19 even after my doctors office personnel called to verify all medications. She stated she would not fill my prescription because to many days had gone by since the first day prescribed (5 days) she then hung up on my doctor and lied to her associates saying she was cursed at and disrespected not realizing she had not yet hung up the line all the way. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD ISSUES WITH THIS PHARMACY AND THEIR ATTITUDE! Worst experience every time i come here. My daughter gets her first dose antibiotics at an ER, come here to get her medications filled, and one of the most important is for her to get her antibiotic regimen going and continued. SHE'S 4 YEARS OLD. Picked up all her meds except the antibiotic which they told me would be ready the next day. I come the next day already a day late, and they still don't have it! Then they send over her prescription to the next closest, and they did something to it that CVS on hacienda can't process! UNBELIEVABLE! This is my go-to CVS store. This is a review of the new Curbside service that CVS offers. I waited in my car patiently as I was promised through text that an associate is coming. I even turned on my hazards right as I parked because I don't want to miss him/her. I parked across the entrance since all the spots left close to the store were handicap parking only, or have obstructed view of the entrance. About 10 minutes later, I saw an associate quickly step outside the cvs entrance and looked to his left. He was literally out there for a second or two, I didn't even have enough time to honk my horn, and he went back inside. I waited for 2 more minutes and decided to go inside. Let's just keep in mind that the purpose of curbside service is so that customers on-the-go DO NOT have to go inside the store. As I walked to the entrance, the same associate goes back outside again and LOOKS AT THE SAME SPOT TO HIS LEFT. I was literally across the entrance yet he never bothered to look straight ahead! I went inside the store (there was no line by the register btw) and spoke to the associate calmly, told him I was across the entrance with my hazards on. He did not apologize, just asked for my QR code, scanned it, said thank you, and walked away. If you're going to have curbside service, it will really help if the associates will spend more than 2 seconds to look around the parking lot for hazard lights, and not just the closest spots which are mostly for handicap parking only. Or, in the near future, have assigned parking for curbside service so that employees know exactly where to look!!! If customers still have to go inside the store to pick up their orders, then it is NOT curbside service. read more

Don't go here. I walked in yesterday because my bf had an appointment for his booster/flu shot, & I inquired nicely about their booster walk ins & if they accommodate that. The pharmacist working the vaccine counter that day was super rude. She was slamming paper on the counter while filling out my bf's paperwork/vaccine card, & seemed rattled. E.G., I inquired flu vaccine at one of their stores and only given a paper to book appointment online and walgreen nearest available time is 20 days later and it's so confusing to schedule online with walgreen!
