UPDATE: Not Surprised that I had yet ANOTHER NEGATIVE experience here! I came in yesterday and was "assisted" by a boy named "Terell," for those frequents who visit here often you should know him, he is this beyond obnoxious boy who thinks he's friends with everyone.... I admit, I am an avid CVS Shopper. I rack up the e. bucks like no other! I always buy my soft drinks, snacks, and cosmetics here. it's my only go to spot for Drug store make-up! So whatever I don't like, I return! I have learned to keep the receipt and that's what I've been doing. I purchased some items online, and came in to return one item from that online purchase, long story short: Terell was not trained on how to process returns at all, so he told me "I HATE returns, see this is why I hate it!" I just stared at him, and did not comment. After 15 minutes of discussing back and forth to his fellow co workers on how to process it back to my CC (the method in which I paid) might I add, he wanted to give me a money card.. But I refused! so he was agitated with that already. So onto my next return, I had the receipt for every item I came in with, so it should be an easy, stress free transaction right? especially if I am well within the 30 day time frame?...WRONG!!! Terell again, did not know how to process one of my items that did not have the barcode. So he flat out said, "I cant return this becuz it doesn't have a scanner thing" I said, no, yes you can, I have the receipt, all you have to do is find another just like it and scan that!" He proceeds to tell me ( A PRO SHOPPER) that the bar code is all different...I kept my cool, because I understand some people just don't know. So I explain to him that he was able to do it, and that the barcode is the same. He walks to the aisle with a fellow co-worker (the blonde older woman) and I walk back to grab something (he did not know I was there) ....THEN I hear him basically talking smack about me to the lady...now the lady probably saw me in the corner of her eye and most likely shushed him, because he did not get a chance to finish his sentence. I was calm, I put up with his ignorance, his rudeness, his apparent inappropriate comments...but the comments that were able to come out of his beyond abhorrent mouth, the comments I heard was enough to convince me that this was out of hand, and that was the final straw. I confronted him about his comment that I was not intended to hear, and he started defecating out his mouth like no other!! saying how this is a RED FLAG, and how I am only limited to 7 RETURNS per month, and how there's a limit. So I said... I am a paying customer, I am purchasing items, and I have the right to return the ones I am not happy with, and I HAVE THE RECEIPT so It's not like I am stealing these items for them to be "RED FLAGGED" so I said, how is this a red flag when I have the receipt for everything? are you trying to insinuate I am stealing these items? Terell: No, I am not, you are NOT hearing me out (in an aggressive tone, and he looks around in awe as if he's looking for an ally, someone to back him up) Okay so what do you mean RED FLAGGED? how is this red flagged? At this point, he couldn't answer my questions and tries to end it by aggressively asking if I wanted to speak to a manager who was right next to him overhearing EVERYTHING. I, of course decline because what is he gonna do? Fire him? Yeah right! I have since escalated this unfortunate incident to CVS CORPORATE, who looked up my account, thanked me for my continued patronage (of course because I dropped so much $$$ with them, they sure as heck don't want to lose me as a customer) the phone representative "Christopher" was beyond apologetic and informed me that this incident IS NOT what CVS represents. and I should be hearing from a superior shortly. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THAT CALL. And you know what? normally, I would avoid a place after a negative experience at all costs. But whenever I have a return, you can bet that I will go see Terell. UPDATE: 7/30/14 I got a call back from a man named "Ted" who is the district manager, he apologized profusely for Terell's inappropriate comments, and he knew Terell well enough to know who I was talking about, so that tells you something right off. He was very understanding and asked if I wanted anything for this incident, I could have easily asked for a gift card or some type of compensation like other companies do in cases like these, but I declined because I just wanted it to be known that he has an employee like Terell working under him, and he should keep a watchful eye on him. Also, to clarify, the asian man is not the manager, the manager is a woman. All in all, Ted made it clear that if I had any issues, I had his cell number and I could contact him directly any time... E.G., I inquired flu vaccine at one of their stores and only given a paper to book appointment online and walgreen nearest available time is 20 days later and it's so confusing to schedule online with walgreen! I rather drive to another cvs than to deal with these unprofessional pharmacy staff- the pharmacist was so short doesn't even look things up. I had my dr send my prescription to this location due to it was just down the street from my house and the pharmacist didn't tell me anything she just said my dr never called in my medication- I had to call my original cvs pharmacy in Baldwin park just to find out yes the dr did call it in. When I brought this up the pharmacist at this location laughed and said 2 hrs to pick up my meds- she's so unprofessional I rather drive anywhere else than deal with this nonsense--ur sick and just want ur meds and go home and rest this chick had me go the extra mile and do extra research on top of feeling terribly ill. read more

Closed at 10 now? Argh...i always need something too close to this time to go and grab what I need, typically OTC type stuff for my daughter. So I have to go to another one. But they have a Chase ATM inside, and pretty decently organized. Only thing that sucks is that there is usually only one cashier and I seem to always go at a time where there are 4 or 5 of us checking out at the same time. Parking - never an issue. Unless you really can't walk 25 feet... They have decent vitamin sales, so I try to jump on those when I can. read more

This review is for the excellent customer service in the pharmacy department. I called for a refill for my son's prescription and was originally told no as it was too soon. We were warned beforehand that this may happen so I asked to speak to a pharmacist. I ended up talking to Jennifer. She handled my concerns with compassion and stayed on the phone with me until we could figure out what to do. She endorsed me to another staff to talk to the following day because the issue may have been resolved by the following day. The next day, I spoke with Zaw and he already had an idea of the issue but still communicated with Jennifer to try to figure something out. I was relieved when Zaw called me back to let me know his attempts at resolution and presented a feasible alternative. I am thankful for the extra effort done by Jennifer and Zaw. Nothing but wonderful customer service The pharmacy team is doing such an amazing job. i went in after for my medication after losing my job and then later my wife since i had no money to support us and they treated me better then family. not only did they provide me with my much need medication they lended a shoulder for me to cry on. my favorite work is sonia and deserves much more then what she recieves. customer need to give these hard workers a break and be more patient with them. read more

This review is not to the nice employees but to the store and regional manager who can't seem to see the shelves are severely EMPTY! Today's ad shows Arizona ice tea at 4 for $2! All flavors empty for at least a week. Blue Diamond almonds...once they go out of stock the spot disappears and other product is flexed over to hide the empty spot! They are obviously short handed and the store manager is obviously not walking his store. I go to CVS because I have coupons in App and it's close to me but I know they're not the cheapest so you would think they will compensate with great customer service. I had a coupon for buy 2 get 1 free Kleenex. It was on my app and they didn't honor it because it didn't show up on their computer. For $1.50 off they couldn't honor it. It's a shame because they made a loyal customer dissatisfied and leaving feeling nothing... Diamond Bar management is absolutely better and will go beyond in service. Go there. read more

If I could give this location is zero star Review I would. This is the absolute worst CVS pharmacy of people I have ever been to. I am currently undergoing IVF And every time I go to refill a prescription that my doctor calls in Welland advance it's always issues. From them having the wrong needles to them not giving me any needles to them just messing up the amount of the medication and the list goes on. Question what type of pharmacy they operate here if they can't even follow standard procedures as to refilling medication it's quite alarming to say the least. The staff here is also incredibly rude. They are really unhelpful and all of them seem to hate their jobs. Every time I call for questions about my prescriptions nobody ever knows the right answers it is so disheartening and so frustrating to have to deal with these people. I would not recommend this pharmacy to anybody. They treat their clientele and patients like cattle call. I will definitely not be returning here. I don't even know how these people stay in business. Worst of the worst! I'd give them minus stars if I could. It's no wonder why they have such lousy reviews. Person who answers the phone is so ignorant she tries to cover it with attitude. I called to ck on a prescription called in for my daughter and had nothing but problems which was NOT even HIPPA related. I was told the problem was my daughters doctor is in San Bernardino. I asked why that makes a difference she lives in Covina, doesn't drive and her doctor is licensed in the state of California, She attempted to grill and correct me on insurance and medical protocol but when I corrected her telling her I work in a near by hospital ER and I am well aware of both insurance and medical protocols she snapped back with 'well the ER's give out pills like candy' that was the last straw. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and ignorance is inexcusable. Because the medication was called into that location (there are closer CVS locations to my daughters home) it could not be transferred. Once this issue is resolved and she gets her medication I will report this pharmacy and NEVER go back to that location. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE pharmacy. read more

I went to pick up a prescription early which was called in the day before. Their website says they open at 7:00 and I get there about 7:40 I drive thru and wait. Luckily some inside tells me that they won't open the drive thru till later and to come in. I go to the counter and they have no record of my prescription. Told me it will be a few minutes while they fill it. Next the pharmacist asks if I have tested for COVID. I said yes and that's why I am here to fill the prescription. She asked me to leave. I said I tried to get the prescription thru the drive thru but but because of their inaccurate website as well as their poor information which is not written anywhere that was not obvious I had to leave and try their drive through. She told me that drive thru opens at 8:30 due to low staff help. Another failure to inform the public. The pharmacy made me feel like I was an ignorant carrier and spreader of COVID when in fact I am a health professional and am very aware to proper COVID Protocol: when they are clear concise and out posted for the public , and not arbitrarily applied as the pharmacist sees fit. This is not the first run in I have had with this pharmacy. I know it won't make any difference because I notice some of the staff stay but the pharmacists come and go so that there won't be much change. read more

The phone rings off the hook and theres only one person working the pick up window. Its unfair to the person working here and its unfair to the customers. The pharmacy department here is so nice and amazing. They take care of my refills quickly, even if they have to call my doctor for approval. They are always nice and super friendly in the drive thru or whenever I have to call. Today Zaw helped me out (that's the name on the receipt) and he has helped me out before. He is always friendly, nice, and helpful. There is another lady there that helps with the drive thru, but I can't remember her name. She's also very nice and friendly. read more

Trusty ol CVS, good for prescriptions and household items. This location has lackluster service, but a decent selection. It's a great quick option for local necessities. I find myself swinging in at least once every couple of weeks. Parking is a little strange. read more

I drove through the drive thru pharmacy and asked for a refill with one pharmacy employee. I told him, I'll go in and shop while it's filled. He said, it'll take about 15 minutes. Without exaggeration, I shopped for 30 minutes. I went to the pick up and Rachel who has really bad customer service skills because I dealt with her about a month ago tells me, It's not ready yet. In about 15 minutes. I then tell her, "Through the drive thru they already told me 15 and I've shopped for 30." She responded the same as she did a month ago in a similar situation, with a dull monotone as if it's my problem not hers. Telling me, well we're backed up so it'll be about 15 minutes. Total unprofessionalism! The appropriate professional response should have been at least an apology beforehand. The only thing that kept me from switching my prescriptions to Vons down the street was that Tim who apparently overheard the conversation, immediately called my name with a concerned voice and said, "I'll expedite your prescription now." Total professionalism probably realizing how long I'd been there and possibly because Rachel's unsympathetic attitude. I honestly feel Rachel may have not filled my prescription beforehand and had that attitude out of spite for me telling her something a month ago. She needs to realize when a fellow employee says 15 minutes but it takes 45, it falls on all employees. And not have the attitude of, "Well, I don't give a shit. My elderly parents need lots of medications, so I visit this location a lot. The staff have been awesome. One pharmacist in particular, Kathy, has delivered outstanding customer service. So this review is about the pharmacy itself. My family has been coming to this Pharmacy for nearly 10 years now. Recently they have been messing up a lot on our refills. Today was the last straw. My wife had surgery and the doctor gave her a prescription for pain medication when she is discharged home. The pharmacist would not accept the prescription because the doctor put a slash through zero refills. The pharmacist wants a mother f****** check mark. Because there was no f****** checkmark this mother f***** would not refill the f****** prescription that my night wife needs to control her pain after motherfuking surgery. They make it so difficult to pick up prescription that my doctor send directly to this store. Hope they can hire more qualify helper in their pharmacy to improve their customer service. I love this CVS. I typically use coupons when I visit the store because I donate many of the items I purchase. I visit the store about 2 times per week, maybe more. Each time I have a pleasant experience. Especially Dolores (one of the cashiers) is great. She is so polite and patient and provides exceptional customer service. I haven't had a problem with any of the other staff members either, and the manager is super nice! This is definitely my favorite CVS out of all of the ones I have been to. 0 stars. Editing my review because i suppose it was only a single persons fault, and not the entire establishment. Anyways.. some idiot(s) gave me ten times my dose for a particular medication. They gave me 5mg tablets instead of 0.5mg tablets for one of my crucial medications. As a cancer patient, they really did me an injustice and they showed minimum remorse. Wow. Went to fill my husband's prescription after a long day in the Emergency Room, Get to the pharmacy at 915pm, handed over the printed and signed by the Dr prescription the Pharmacist says "Not filling this, because it isint Valid.... Excuse me? Turns out the Dr didn't not physically write the date on it! So we asked the Pharmacist to call and Verify and or have one faxed over from The Emegency room itself and she REFUSED! Stating it wasn't her job to do That! Last time I checked it was a pharmacists job to call and VERIFY especially if it is in fact a controlled substance, Jennifer denied my husband his much needed medications because she was being lazy! She also informed me that they were closing soon, maybe that's why she refused to do her JOB! AT ONE POINT SHE BROUGHT OUT A "LAW BOOK, to show that the Dr needed to sign the date himself! So if she had all this time to pull LAW books , why couldn't she use that time to call the Dr and or hospital to get a "VALID" prescription faxed over? Let's get to where she took a Xerox copy of the prescription and kept it for her records , when i asked why she did that she said because she thought we would illegally alter medical forms......At this point I was seriously pissed off. This 5 star review is to show my appreciation for Jonathan, Store Manager, who has the BEST customer service everywhere!!! He is always welcoming and extremely helpful! He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are happy. There is another manager who is the complete opposite and is very unhelpful giving customers attitude and I won't ever shop here if she is the manager on duty! You need to hire more people like Jonathan who definitely deserve to run the store. I will be calling the store manager as well to leave feedback. read more
