While I was telling him about the lady robbing the candy aisle a man walked in and cleared out the red bull display by the register in clear sight of the security officer. There is plenty of parking available. With the right management, this store could come back to its former glory. Considering its proximity to downtown New Haven, it is a gem waiting to be rejuvenated with the proper, prompt attention.

Despite my reporting this to the pharmacy that they made this error! They took the medications checked them and said they would quarantine the meds and report to the corporate office. To date I have not heard from the Walgreens Corporate office and I sent an email to attorney Tong and sought legal help only to be turned down for various reasons related to conflict if interest and not worth the time. I could continue on as to my never receiving any kind of response from anyone about this serious matter and I wasn't looking for money but for anyone out there that has went to this Walgreens Pharmacy on Campbell Ave. or any other Walgreens beware. In closing this may have happened to someone who didn't live to tell about it. I was offered help from an attorney to help get the word out to the Walgreens Corporate office and that had me thanking God for a lifeline but unfortunately it came into a dry season where they have suddenly began talking about how Walgreens is going through WHATEVER!! After a wk., finally got someone to pick up the phone. Pharmacy mngr. Kim said she would call me bk. I kept calling every hr as she didn't do what she said she was going to do. Finally got through to a female with the I.Q. of a banana who tried to give me attitude @ how busy they are blah blah blah. I gave it right bk. Kim then picks up calls me a child for getting angry and claims she called me TWICE! I checked call log on phone and there is no record of incoming call from CVS! I asked if the rx was ready. She said it would be ready in 30 mins. I said TY goodbye. Their issues are theirs. If they r incapable of performing their jobs in a timely manner, I hear Amazon is hiring. But you'd have to be able to read and write so maybe that wouldn't be an option. These r horrible ppl who deserve every lousy review they get! (Also, both stores were dumpy, dirty, and had lots of empty shelves.) Then I went to Chapel Street Pharmacy. They had plenty of test kits (for half the price I paid at CVS), they had KN-95 masks, the store was clean and bright, and the pharmacist was extremely friendly. If I lived in New Haven I would take all my pharmacy business to this place.

They kept not having it in stock, or only having partial refills. They eventually told me that it wasn't made anymore. I went to CVS... the same thing. CVS even convinced me to have my doctor change it to a less effective version. He was confused, but did it. I met WHP at an event at the Boardwalk. WHP had the original med in stock and never gave me a problem filling it. Turns out that they lose money on it because of how they are reimbursed from insurance. That is why CVS and Walgreens gave me the runaround. WHP treated me right, and they still do. That was 7 years ago, and they continue to treat me well. I recommend them to everybody.

The store is organized, and the aisles have plenty of room to navigate carriages without bumping into people or displays. There is a abundant selection of gifts for both the home and for children on your list. The check out system used to be very fast and efficient.
