As a healthcare worker, I am appalled at how the staff at this pharmacy treats their customers. I have needed to use this pharmacy not only as a customer, but also as a medical professional calling from a providers office. The staff is extremely rude and impersonal. In person, the line to pick up medication is always 5-10 people deep. Then when you get to the counter, they tell you it's going to be another 30 minutes. EVERY TIME. They obviously DO NOT CARE about making you sit and wait there with an illness, or if you have a unwell child on your hands. Their prices are also significantly higher than other local pharmacies. I do not use CVS anymore, however, I was forced to use this location during an unfortunate circumstance when I had a sick child that needed medication urgently. Our regular pharmacy had already closed for the evening. Negative 10 stars. Hope they go out of business. read more

I just tried to refill two prescriptions over the phone. Seems they now have a new phone service. It stinks They gave me a list of ones that I could refill by listing them by name. I tried to refill two,but could only refill one. The names one scripts are not always easy , so when finally given the option I have the RX #-not once but twice, "sorry we cannot understand" I am so frustrated right now with CVS NOT user friendly . Unfortunately there's no Walgreens and Walmart Pharmacy isn't much better than CVS . 90% of the time they get prescriptions wrong . Wrong dosage , wrong price you name it . Actually should take the wrong dosage and get sick and sue the sh*t out of them . I bet they never screw anyone's prescription up again !! PS their mail order CVS Caremark is even worse ! read more

This review is directed to the corporate office. This is the first time for me to use the delivery system, and it doesn't work. UPS should simply leave it at the delivery address instead of returning it to a CVS store, not even the one that I use. It is further away and inconvenient. Walgreens gets it correct. read more

Do yourself a favor and go to a different store. Deceptive coupon policy paired with the RUDEST - steer clear! And if Michelle is your cashier put your items down and walk out. The worst cashier I have ever witnessed-with no remorse for her behavior. I expressed to her the way she was speaking to me was making me very uncomfortable-no response and definitely no apology. CVS Pharmacy - Store/cashier experience - Drugstores Near Me - WHITINSVILLE, Massachusetts

This place is an unmitigated disaster; if I could give it negative stars, I would. Last month I called because my prescription was incomplete (I only had 21 days worth of medication in a 30 day bottle) and the woman on the phone laughed at me, and I mean she literally laughed right into the phone and asked me what she was supposed to do about it. She actually thought it was funny. You know what? I need that medication and for $500.00 a bottle I don't think it's funny at all. Get your s*** together, CVS. My doctor's office has to send over prescriptions multiple times before they acknowledge that they have received it. Just this week the nurse called them to confirm that they had my prescription, spoke to a woman on the phone who assured her that it was in, and then they lost it before I got there. I can no longer go there to pick up my medication unless I have called first to confirm and gotten a name (because even after calling there is no guarantee that they can find it when I get there). If only there were a Walgreen's or a Rite Aid in town I would dump this hot mess in a heartbeat. read more

Walgreens, please come to Whitinsville Ma....I go to pick up my husband's surgery prescriptions. They gave me 2 out of 3 medicatios. The cashier at the pharmacy does not know what generic Tylenol is. The doctor also said to take "Baby Asprin" for clotting. I could not find "Baby Asprin," the PHARMACIST said,'You have to call your doctor. I can not advise that." Are you f*****g kidding me? You just filled a prescription for "Baby asprin" like you probably do several times a day and you want me to call my doctor....they do not make "Baby asprin" anymore...they make low dose adult...and they prescribe it as well. So I leave with the prescribed baby asprin and an anti constipation medication. There was a prescription pending in the system, and of course, generic Tylenol did not catch it. The whole experience is getting out of our faces. We are busy. So I got out of generic Tylenol and lazy pharmacist faces only to find out I am missing the PAIN medication....I found that odd....SERIOUSLY. So an hour later, I am back where the customer is not wanted, and Generic Tylenol literally laughed at the situation. When I said, " Oh, you think this is funny? How about you go into your purse and give me $20.00 for gas money." She started to cry... really, accountability makes you cry. Then, the lazy pharmacist finished the transaction. Definitely stay away from this pharmacy department. They are outright disrespectful and almost refused to fill a script for a family member with a chronic pain condition post surgery. They made her feel judged and ashamed when she should be made to feel the opposite after all she has been through. Everyone deserves compassion from their medical professionals and the staff here doesn't appear to have any. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. The people are rude and inept. I've been waiting for a prescription for 3 weeks and they don't let me know that is not in stock. Other times I've dropped off prescriptions only to stop by hours after they are supposed to be ready only to find out they weren't fill. They will call you and text you to refill prescriptions you haven't requested. The staff dosen't take any accountability. I don't know how they are still in business. I would rather see a witch doctor before trying to get a prescription from them agaon. read more

I wanted to make this work because this is the closest pharmacy to where I live. But I'm switching to the CVS in Grafton. I need a prescription to get filled this morning as soon as possible, they called me and said it was available, I got there and it had disappeared. They had to go through the whole process to get the prescription refilled again. This was for a surgery and it was time-sensitive and I have lost half a day. It would be nice to say that this had been the first time but this is actually the second time this has happened. I will not be going back. read more

Located in a big giant strip mall at the corner of Church St and Providence Rd along with a Shaw's, an Ocean State Job Lot among others. Store was clean and the staff was great. Having never been inside before, I'm sure I looked like a deer in the headlights trying to make my way around Had an easy time finding staff to help me find my way. Though I encountered a line when I finished up, staff made their way to the counter without having to be called to get us out the door. read more

She had zero patience with a costumer who didn't speak English fluently and made it known to her co-workers (and the other customers standing on line) her frustration. This CVS collects by far the worst employees in the area. I had to call the pharmacy to check if the medication I've been prescribed, is approved by insurance. The pharmacist, Brett Miller, arrogant, rude and useless at customer service, made every effort to be difficult. It was pulling teeth for 18 minutes, asking him the same question again and again, to figure it out - not because it took long to process approval, he simply couldn't give a damn to get all the information to do the job right. I've had experiences where the pharmacy cashier thought I was being vain because I didn't want to shout my birth date, address and medication for the 7 people in line to hear. How does CVS put up with this ILLITERACY OF HEALTH AND PRIVACY LAWS, and COMPLETE LACK OF CARE IN THE HEALTHCARE business? read more

Love this CVS! Staff is friendly and attentive. Aimee in the pharmacy is particularly great and does a great job making sure people are taken care of. I don't live in town anymore but fill my scripts there as often as possible if I know I'll be in the area. read more
