Looks like they're always in the same spot now on Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks so I was able to track them down and drive down. It was so delicious, I went back again for a second cone after lunch! After our dinner we decide to stop by here to get some dessert. We saw cars parked on the street but they didn't know that there a private parking lot in the back next to Taco Bell. When we got to the truck, there was no line so we were able to put in your order request right away. It's a cute lil truck beep beep that updates their location via Instagram daily! Apparently they stay on Ventura Blvd. we caught them at 8:55pm in Sherman oaks. The clerk happily served us a vanilla chocolate twist on a cake cone that late into the night. The only problem is that they don't have a chocolate dipping apparatus! Apparently its due to city regulations. If they get a chocolate dip machine they will be KINGS hahaha. Amazing milky flavor that bring back my childhood. This truck was disappointing. My spouse did ask the owner what he recommended, and the response he got was "they're all good". I admit I personally think it's a stupid question to ask when all you've got are two flavors to choose from or a combo, but for a truck that apparently is known to be good, old fashioned and friendly, I didn't get that impression from the owner or ice cream at all. We also paid extra for sea salt, which literally just entailed a pinch of table salt being thrown on (like from a salt shaker). Not course salt or anything unique...
