It was one of my very first dessert spots when landing in La and easily got hooked. They offered various cereal-themed mixed-ins, which will be blended with soft serve ice cream. The flat white, The Wifey, and Mama's Boy were definitely my top 3 from their signature house-curated menu. You could also BYO as you fancied. Worry not, unlike the apparel store, the treat shop never had that long queue. This is a soft serve store located inside a clothing store. I'm normally not a fan of soft serve, but this honestly tasted like rich ice cream. They also take the toppings and somehow mix it in with the ice cream, so choose your toppings wisely! I chose a flavor that had cheesecake and sprinkles -- I didn't really taste the cheesecake as it had been mixed into the flavor of the ice cream (husband said he tasted a hint of it), and there were so many sprinkles which gave what I felt was an overwhelming crunch. My husband chose a milkshake flavor that included Oreos(?) and crunchy cereal cornflakes (?) -- this gave it a slightly more chocolatey flavor and the cornflakes gave it a subtle crunch -- I liked this much better. I don't get the hype. I found KITH Treats to be mediocre. I came here with one other person to check out some shoes and clothes so we decided to get some ice cream as well. I've been wanting to try their ice cream for quite some time. They offer a variety of their Signature Specials, milk shakes, or you can build your own. Their ice cream base includes vanilla, chocolate and non-dairy. The non-diary options are an additional price. You can also build milk shakes using non-dairy options from a list of different milk options. I ended up getting a non-dairy The Witness from their Signature Special. It included frosted flakes, cinnamon toast crunch, cap n crunch, oreos, and twix. The cereals in it was cool but the non-dairy base had an overwhelming strong flavor of coconut. I wasn't expecting it and it was too much. The texture was also too thick and a little on the harder side. The person I came with got their regular vanilla base swirl of The Flagster. It included frosted flakes, cocoa puffs, marshmallows, and oreos. I tried some and I liked it better than The Witness. When we came that Saturday it was busy and there was a line out the door. We probably waited about 15 minutes before we were let it. The guy at the counter was really nice though. We ended up paying about $13 for one. I found their portion to be rather large and was only able to eat half. Or I just got sick of their overwhelming coconut tasted non-dairy base. Probably won't be back to KITH for the ice cream. Where else but a hip spot like Sunset Strip would have a trendy clothing boutique with an ice cream stand? Initially it felt like mixed messaging to me because they dared to sell clothing that was probably four sizes and three decades ago for me and then have the sheer audacity to present calorific indulgences to my face and gurgling belly. It's like the Wicked Witch of the West cackled to me... "You'll never fit into these clothes, my pretty...here, have some ice cream. HAHAHAHAHA!!" Flying monkeys aside, Jamie W. and I noticed two fashionable women coming up an underground escalator sharing what looked to be a huge soft serve sundae. The sight immediately piqued our interest, and we ventured down through the parking garage to discover this subterranean ice cream and cereal bar. Even though they artfully hung sneakers from the ceiling, there was no readily visible menu, and there were hipsters waiting for their soft serve. I just looked at their backlit poster and told the young server I wanted the $9.25 Teddy, a cup overflowing with a vanilla ice cream swirl "infused" (their term) with sliced strawberries, Honey Bunches of Oats with Strawberries, and Teddy Grahams. They make bomb ass ice creams. It's so milky and creamy that it melts right in your mouth instantly. The portion is pretty big too for one person. After browsing the Kith store, we walked over to order desserts. I ordered the Flatwhite by Virgil, and my gf ordered the Bam Bam. Both of them were delicious. I give it a 5/5 for the flavor and the simple aesthetic of the cup. I'm a type of guy that likes cereal on my ice cream, and they do a good job implementing it. Finally was able to pay a visit to the KITH store on a Friday afternoon. There is a parking garage and the store is located underground. The parking fee will be vouched if you purchase merchandise from the KITH store. There was no wait at all and the store was pretty empty. I enjoyed looking through all the brands and merchandise they carried -- and it is a pretty large selection to chose from! I would give this place 3.5 stars. When you get in the parking structure make 2 rights when you enter, if you turn left instead of right, that's resident parking only. You also don't have to make any purchases for validation but you'll have to get it validated inside the store not at the ice cream counter. You also have to wait in line to get in. If you're lucky the line isn't long. The ice cream was pretty good but still pricey. I think I got the snark. I didn't like the coco puffs in the ice cream. Next time, I'll get the wifey because I tried my friend's and it was better in my opinion. The workers are somewhat standoffish here. I felt like I was bothering them if I needed their assistance. Some were nice and friendly but you definitely have to seek them out for help like asking for a specific shoe size. Came here for a snack around lunch time and it was very hard to find - the store is underground so you do have to take stairs somehow to get to the parking garage that has the entrance.
