I came here yesterday for a quick wash while running errands during the day. Cyber Express Wash is located on the corner of Denali and Calais (33rd Ave) in the old Johnson's Tire & Auto Service behind Century Cinemas. The Disneyland-like ride for your car wash runs on a conveyor belt at the rear of the building where there is an option to drive straight to get your car cleaned thoroughly by a team of detailers or turn right to pull up to a car vacuum station and do the work yourself. Three different memberships are available for customers: the Iridium for $49/month which includes unlimited car washes with high pressure blast, ceramic coating, and deep gloss top coat added to the package (this is the one I currently have). The Palladium for $59/month which is everything from the Iridium Plan plus graphene coating and tire shine, and the Unobtanium which is normally at $120/month but is currently offered at $99/month. This is basically everything from the previously mentioned plans to include unlimited express interior detail. The employees here are friendly and work really hard especially in the detailing area. There are no appointments necessary for a detailing, just simply drive up after washing your car. If you don't have the Unobtanium package, you would pay an additional $30.00 at a separate cashier station set up at the detailing area. The detailing itself doesn't take too long, about 20 or 30 minutes at the most. This was the standard wait time for me whenever I opt for this service. There is a lounge area with chairs and a sofa for customers to wait and relax while watching TV or passing the time using your cell. You can also watch the detailers work on your car as it moves slowly on a conveyor belt. It's very hard work with the fast pace and the variety of vehicles coming through. Don't forget to tip the detailers if you can. A tip jar is set up at a table by the end of the conveyor belt on your way out. My only issue with the carwash is the lack of coordination on directing cars into the carwash when there are three separate lines at the pay stations during the really busy times. Drivers are not sure who goes into the carwash first after paying and there are customers moving in aggressively to get lined up resulting in near-collisions. Better communication by the employees manning the pay stations and signaling drivers to proceed or stop would be a great help to fix that. Aside from that, this is a great place to get your car cleaned without having to wait too long. A second location is being planned between 5th and 6th Ave downtown across from the Swickard Anchorage car dealership and the Kindred Spirits coffee hut which would help ease the congestion at this location. read more

Like all carwash places: the hustling is hard. They really want you to get a membership so that you can forget to cancel it and give them a steady stream of revenue. So much so, that there are "helpers" for the automated payment system whose main job is to sell you on a membership. Now, having said all that, the carwashes here are pretty good! It's less stressful than some of the other places that have intricate instructions on when to put your car in neutral and when to not. I also like that they have big, ergonomic, indoor vacuum stations right after the car wash section! read more

Wow this place is beautiful. I still can't wrap my head around why my small hometown needs multiple, state of the art car washes...but I'm here for it. Prepare for Cyber Express to eat up their competition as temps continue to drop. Their building is so large everything is indoors including vacuums. They even have a cushy waiting area near their state of the art detailing section. We had an all access pass to their "Cyber after dark," Halloween event. It included a car wash, trunk or treat, children's games, and a haunted house. The cost was steep, but it was for a great cause (local school sports). We would definitely return for another community event, but we unfortunately have a wash membership with another competitor. read more

Went there in February. The moving floor pushed my truck into the truck in front of me as they were stopped at the far end waiting to go into the garage area where the vacuums are which was completely full. There were several vehicles waiting to make the turn into the vacuuming area. My truck and the truck in front of me had several thousand dollars' worth of damage. Cyber Express Wash and their insurance company refuse to return any calls to my insurance company. The subrogation process started in April, with no return communication. My insurance company has since sent the claim to collection trying to recover my deductible and the rest of the cost of the claim. Horrible company to deal with, I will never bring another vehicle to cyber express wash ever again. read more

Listen! I don't know if you're anything like me but getting the interior of my car cleaned is a challenge and in Alaska it's a next level challenge! This place does an amazing job cleaning/vacuuming/wiping down the inside of your car and even shampooing your floor mats. As if you needed anything else they also have indoor vacuuming for those that want to go hands on with it and avoid the cold weather outside. They also have an indoor lounge area where you can chill, grab a free coffee & wait for your car to be done. This is value & service with a smile. They're friendly, helpful and willing to get the elbow grease going for your car. The place is clean and orderly. I'm hooked! read more

For $60 you would think they would vacuum the trunk, but nope, didn't even open it. And the sales people out front posing as "helpers" (because apparently they think their customers cannot figure out a basic touchscreen) are really there to try and sell you a monthly subscription. This place is awesome! The best car wash I ever received. Put your car in neutral on the tracks and the cyber wash does the rest. The vacuums actually work and the suction point is more narrow for easier access to nooks and crannies. Alaska Cyber Express Wash is by far the best car wash in Anchorage. The exterior wash is significantly better than any other drive-through car wash I've tried. The only option for interior cleaning at most drive-throughs is to pay extra for a cumbersome outdoor vacuum after the wash. Cyber Express has indoor vacuums. However, my car usually needs more than just vacuuming. Cyber Express Wash also is the only place in Anchorage I've found that offers express detailing for vehicle interiors. Their service is amazingly fast, efficient, and thorough. They ran my floor mats through an automated cleaner, which was far superior to just vacuuming. They also did a great job cleaning the interior and windows. I was thoroughly pleased, and the price was very affordable. I wouldn't get my car washed anywhere else. read more

Amazing concept and the outside of my car looked beautiful. I think the cost for a full interior detail could have been better as far as really wiping the dash and cup holders down - those were forgotten. Good coverage on the car wash, even with a canopy, roof rack and some other accessories on the truck, it didn't knock anything out of place and is much more effective than the 'touch-less' car washes that are so common around Anchorage. I always love a clean car regardless of the time of year. I love the pampering style of service. My car smells clean looks clean and with that 10 minute detail, is clean. I don't use detail all the time because I'm the only one that drives my car, so it last for weeks before I need to do it again, but I wash my car regularly.
