This is the best Cycle Gear store in Las Vegas. This store has a good selection of brands and is well organized (unlike the other location.) Greg and his crew immediately helped my husband and I (this was 5 minutes before closing time too!) They didn't rush us and helped him find a bad ass helmet to match mine. Helmet Shopping Review I've been helmet shopping for a while and had stopped in at several stores while on vacation travels. The service my husband and I received was HORRIBLE. We went into this location to find some motorcycle parts and was led to the back by a "customer service rep" where he picked up a pamplet told us what part we needed and then proceeded to tell us, "I'm super swamped right now so you guys are going to have to find that part on your own." and he walked back up to the front. I was shocked! He may have well have told us "I really don't care what you want or that you're here at all so get out." Purchased a Shoei Helmet. There were so many different manufacturers to choose from I was slightly overwhelmed at first. The guys who work their really know the products. With their help, the decision making process was quite easy. Wish they had a wider selection of Arai Helmets though, but no big deal. A shout out to the Cycle Gear in Henderson Nevada. Yesterday my Hannah and I were in the store to replace her helmet. She unfortunately had to use said helmet, a few weeks ago during a Ride for Kids charity ride. She got into an accident as a passenger on another bike. She's fine, all her gear did their job, hence the new helmet. Her old one was toast. As we were looking at the helmets, the employee asked why we needed one. We explained what happened, and he said he witnessed the accident, he was on the ride too along with two other employees from the shop, and they pulled over to help. We thanked him for helping, and informed him we would be back to get a new jacket in a few weeks, since the jacket was toast too. Today, I received an email from the store, and my daughter was invited to the store to pick out a new jacket on Cycle Gear's dime! We just got back and Hannah now has a new Sedici jacket. They even threw in the optional back plate! Cycle Gear corporate was a big sponsor this year for the Ride for Kids event, that benefits the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. My daughter is a 17 year survivor of a brain tumor, which is one of the reasons we attend the event. I have a closet full of gear and helmets in my garage, that I have purchased from Cycle Gear over the years. Always liked doing business with them, and of course I'll continue. I have mixed feelings. They have the BIGGEST selection of helmets, ride gear and such that I have seen, but it's 99% motorcycle and not really anything scooter. So I wanted a simple speaker system and they did not even carry these. I got my helmet here half off it was, great price, great helmet - got a lot of other stuff here too, but needs the basics like alarms and radios and speakers, and more scooter stuff not just motorcycle :) read more

I was very disappointed with my experience today @ approximately 6:50pm! I called and spoke to a male employee and informed him I just got my tire in the mail and need to get it on my rim and he told me $25 and to just bring it in. I get there at approximately 6:50pm and walked in before I brought in the tire and the rim and I asked if they can get it done amd the male employee said yea they can get it done. So I brought the tire and the rim in then he says he won't be able to get it done today because they close in an hour and I said it shouldn't take long then he replied that because it's a 240 it will take time. I told him I called and a male employee told me they can get it done today! The employee in the store told me I can leave it and it will be done by 2pm tomorrow! I am very amazed it takes that long to put a 240/40r18 tire on a rim! Then they tell me it will cost $50! I was surprised because what I was told on the phone is very different from what I'm told in the store! Very disappointed with the experience today! Just horrible! Could have saved time from driving from my house to this place if they told me on the phone with what they told me in the store! read more

What a fantastic staff! Was in an 8 day ride through the Southwest and one of my riding shoes failed. I decided to drop in a purchase a new pair. From the moment I walked in I was completely cared for. Personal service on finding the right shoe. They had a bucket of water for my cooling vest. Curtis and his staff were super helpful. They know their product and did not try to over sell us. They went out of their way showing us items at full and comparable sale items. We did not feel pressured and felt educated on the products. With the savings on the items we went in to purchase we ended up buying for both myself and my husband. Cycle Gear will not post my reviews on their site, therefore I'll post it here. I bought one of this helmet based on reviews. I think this company hires people just to write good review for their products because those 5 star rating are insane. Sound quality - Not too bad. As others have stated, the bass is not up to par with other speakers. The mic is to "puffy." It's either in my mouth or rubbing against the tip of my nose. I guess when I can take it anymore, I'll remove the foam from around the microphone. Fitment - I it does run small. Not only does it run small, it's more shallow than expected. I tried on a medium and my noggin did not go in all the way. I tried on a large and it just good enough. I would feel more secure if it was a bit deeper. I'm comparing this figment to the Icon Aidmada and the Icon Airframe which I greatly appreciate after wearing this Bilt helmet. The snap on the strap is also so deep, I could not close it with out taking my gloves off. Wind noise - My goodness. I could not imagine the amount of wind noise from this helmet. With the vents opened or closed, it did not matter. Imagine cupping your hands behind your ears and sticking your head out of a car window traveling at 90 mph. My ears started to hurt from a 5 mile stretch at 65 mph. At this point, the speakers were barely audible. I was more concerned for the life of my ear drums. It's as if someone kept slapping my ears with their palms as I was riding. The wind noise did subside when I turned my head to the side, but what good does that do? Overall, the quality of this product is far less than expected. This is my first Bilt product and I can only deduce that you get far less than what you pay for with this company. I also find it insulting that they claim the original price is $300+. This helmet was always at $180 and that's too much for such a poorly constructed helmet. The drop down sunshade visor was easy to operate, but it does not come down enough. There's a half inch gap across the whole field of view. Since Cycle Gear does not do refunds (only way to get rid of these helmets), I'm stuck with this garbage. Now I have to figure out how to stop all the unwanted air from seeping in. Something they should have done. read more

I have always had a great experience going to this retailer. Called Tuesday to see if they could change a tire for me on a 10" rim they said no problem bring it in Thursday. After visiting the Cycle Gear off Decatur, I decided to give this one a try since it is a bit closer to me. I have to say I was a bit disappointed. Compared to the other store it is a lot smaller. Their selection does not even begin to compare to the other store. The staff there was nice, but did not offer to help me find what I was looking for. It was a bit busy, so I understand but I was frustrated enough that I left and went straight over to the Decatur store. I have a feeling that I won't be back to this one any time soon. read more

I went to Cycle Gear on Pecos for the first time this morning in search of a helmet 3/4 style . I tried on a couple and decided on one $79.99 (not bad what I expected) the young man that rang me up (Alex) said it's ringing up weird and he would be right back . He went to the back of store and talked to someone came back and tells me it's a great deal it's only $14.95!!!! I'm like what the heck! So I purchased a leather vest that I wanted also. Thankyou so much to that young man for being honest he could have charged me full price I would have never known there were no signs saying it was on sale ! i know people are running there companies different because of the corona virus, but so are the people who depend on the companies, i needed to put new brake pads and put mirrors on my bike immediately because i was making a trip out of state for a family emergency, my motorcycle that had been sitting for a few years was the only means of transportation i have, cycle gear on pecos was open but not to the general public, you have to make reservations to buy parts, which i did, i ride to the store which is locked and they come crack the door , i then tell them i ordered parts and he said that he will give me a total and be back for my card info, when he came back i said all i have is cash, and he told me NO cash, only card, i never thought i would see the day someone turned down a us 100 dollar bill, and at no point on the website or was there any sign posted notifying the customer that cash will not be accepted , it cant be because he is afraid to touch it because of covid-19 is it? they would have had to touch the debit card to swipe it so whats the difference, either way i was embarrassed to have gone thru the process of reserving a part online and then going down to the store having the door cracked open and then denied when i tried to pay cash, (which by the way i disinfect all money that comes into my possession with lysol) and i told them that, based on that i dont think i will be going to cycle gear, at any location , and i am suggestion my people dont either, i understand it is a scary world out there but it seems that cycle gear doesnt know how to work with the public thru this pandemic just work for themselves, ultimatly the economy is crashing and the people at cycle gear are un educated about the covid19 virus, it is irresponsible to claim you are open and then pick and choose who to do transactions with, i went to another store later that day and they would ONLY take cash because the credit card servers werent running right because of the overload of people online, that is understandable, thanks cycle gear, still riding around now with garbage brakes and one mirror, have a nice day read more

I have shopped here several times as well as the other store on the west side of town. Items have included a Sedici leather riding jacket, a backpack, and a Sena 10S bluetooth communicator, between both stores. My most recent purchase was a Shoe RF1200 helmet. I found the specific graphic I was looking for and it was also on closeout but it was the wrong size. I asked the assistant manager, Paul, if the sale was just for that specific helmet in a 2XL. He said it was the only one they had left in stock. The conversation could have just ended there because it was a closeout item, but he offered to do a check with other stores. He found a very limited quantity among several stores and told me he could contact them, and if my size was available, to arrange to have it shipped to their store at no additional cost and would honor the price at their store even if it was a different price at the other stores. Their online store had the price listed about $50 more but was sold out. A couple days later I get a call from the store saying my helmet has arrived to be picked up. I didn't expect it to be so quick. Store Manager, Greg, happily helped me out when I got there. Just been really impressed by the entire staff there. If you are looking for motorcycle gear check with these guys first, at either store, really. Their excellent customer service, friendliness, and love for bikes, in general, is what keeps me coming back.
