While the store staff was nice when I ordered my motorcycle gloves the company fails miserably. I ordered gloves for a particular ride and over two weeks later they haven't shown up. I called after no updates and I was told a refund would be started last Friday. I call Monday and there has been an update in the shipping and I should get it in two days like they said before. Horrible customer service and I will return the gloves immediately and I will never buy another thing from this store or Cycle Gear as a whole. Terrible business. read more

They have a good selection to choose from. They're like RevZilla except that you don't have to pay shipping, since they're local. Strictly business, just get in and out. Get your things. Support your local shops. The customer service is lacking, though. I didn't receive any help when I went in. I reserved an item three times. First one, I got an out of stock email. The second and third time, they never finished my reservation. I tried calling them to ask a question, too. They don't seem to answer their phone. If they could hustle more, I'd give the place 5 stars, but since I had a question that was never answered, I never got to exchange my item. I'm brand new to riding. I came here and spent hundreds of dollars on new gear and paid to sign up for the riders plus membership because I want to support a local business. It's very discouraging to come in the one time I need help and be completely dismissed by the owner. He was rude, made me feel like I was inconveniencing him, and flat out walked away when I asked for help. I've seen several other reviews of customers being treated poorly. Today I went here to have them swap my Sena headset from one helmet to another. The guy "couldn't get the Sena tightened right" so he used a sticky pad to hold it onto the helmet.... and on top of it, he didn't put the padding back into my old helmet properly. Poor service. The end. read more

I always went here because I thought the guys that worked here were cool, fellow veterans. Every other establishment offering military discounts extends to same discount to spouses, not this cycle gear. I sent my wife to take my son to pick out a helmet while I was at work and they refused the discount even after I talked to him on the phone. All this after I've seen them give people a military discount who have never served. Must've been crayon munchers. I'll be taking my business to the Fresno cycle gear now, I suppose. read more

Came in to buy a helmet with my boyfriend. Sam, the assistant manager, helped us out and she was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and very kind. We bought a helmet after taking about 20 minutes of her time. She went over the catalog with us, was more than happy to show us examples of the different types of helmets and explain how they should fit and feel. Overall a fantastic experience. Came in to mount a tire, I guess lady (Jen) who does it while I was there had more important things to do then work. I understand taking a lunch break but then she took a break to go to the bank. I waited 3 hrs for one wheel. There was 3 wheels ahead of mine but I know for a fact it does not take that long. She was nice and did a great job other wise. Staff goes above and beyond to help you out and find you the best product with the best value based on your needs specifically. They go out of their own way to help you find just what you need within your budget (went so far that they were looking for products I was interested in online and at other Cycle Gear locations to have shipped over just for me.) They aren't pushy, impatient, or trying to sell you the most expensive gear or just whatever they have in stock. Staff, in a very friendly manner, let me know of another store in the area that may have stuff I needed, but they were literally so great and accommodating, I didn't want to bother spending my money elsewhere. I wouldn't have spent my money at another store even if it had been another Cycle Gear. Rick in particular spent a lot of one-on-one time getting to know me, my needs, my interests, and was extremely eager to help me based off that knowledge. His warmth and kindness blew me away. The lady working with him that day (I didn't get her name!) Was also fantastic, extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and eager to help. It was my first time at a Cycle Gear location and I was being treated like a long-time regular customer rather than a brand new face. Second time visiting, I was personally greeted by name by Rick again, and another wonderful lady helped me out super quick and with great service. I'm new to all this but I will be shopping for all of my future riding gear from Cycle Gear. I like the place they stock the most common items needed for your motobike. Tire prices, clothing, and few other items usually kill motorcycle dealership prices. When you go in ask for Sam for the best service. All the employees are actually awesome and the manager is wonderful. I don't work there but many times I wish I did. This is one of the shops that both my husband and I shop at. If you are into riding, they have a pretty good selection of jackets, jersey, helmets - basically all of the riding gear you would need. I have also noticed when I am there, they will suggest marked down items that are considerably less than new inventory - they are not pushy at all. Not only is their staff friendly, but they are also helpful and if they don't have items in stock, they offer to find it for you at another store and have it shipped for you (no charge on the shipping) to save you a trip. read more

Went in on mother's Day to get a new tire nobody in the store but us, nice. The installation guy JJ had trouble changing the tire and left about a half inch of grease on the side wall and top of tire because he could not mount the tire correctly. He made excuses saying this tire has problems beading absolutely ridiculous we were pissed off we were told it would take about 30 minutes we waited over an hour for one tire!Call corporate twice!! still have not received a phone call back I guess they don't give a shit. I would stay clear and find somebody else to change a tire if you need it,avoid the problems! read more
