I got a flat at my Son's home, I called McCoy Tire and they offered to repair or replace Tire but I needed to drive to Modesto to get the tire fixed. My Son called Les Schwab and they literally said, "Sure we can come out and put a plug into the tire for you." And that's what they did and he was so nice. He said "No Charge " and I said "huh?" Great customer service is rare these days, extraordinary customer service like what I received at Les Schwab in Escalon is Wow, just Wow!!! I came out to work last night to a completely flat tire. Had AAA come out to change it out. This morning I stopped by Les Schwab because it was 8am and they were already open. I kid you not, before my foot hit the ground while opening my door David was already there to greet me and welcome me inside. As he was getting my info, another employee(I didn't get his name) grabbed my keys and went to work. David offered me complimentary popcorn and coffee in the spacious waiting area. Before you know it, I see my car pull up by the door and was handed the keys. They told me there was a screw in my nail and they patched it up for me and put the spare back. This all happened in 10 minutes!!!! Talk about Nascar pit crew fast!!!! This place is superb! Fast,friendly,efficient and professional!!! 10/10 highly highly highly recommend!!! Oh and did I tell you they did all this free of charge!!??? Like, what!??? Mind completely blown!!! I was on my way home when I got a flat tire. I was 65 miles away. I was able to get air in my tire and drive to Les Schwab Tires just down the street. Fortunately, I had stopped at a Mobil Mini Mart where I had gotten air. Les Schwab took me in right away; they were so nice professional and speedy. They had me out of there in 20 minutes and fixed my tire. Today I wrent here to purchase a trailer tire I wanted to buy it as a carry out because my trailer is in storage After a few mins of the person at counter fumbling around finding me on computer He asked what size I told him what size i needed and i was gonna have it mounted in Manteca I started to pay and he said cash only ! What.. never heard of that He said due to fraud. I did not see a cash only signnanywhere It felt strange being treated like a criminal For a 100 dollar tire I think he meant due to being MEXICAN !! I expected the worst, thinking I was going to have to buy a new tire or have to pay for a patch repair. I was running late to work and frustrated because of the flat. DO NOT GO HERE, OVER PRICED, POORLY MANAGED! First poor experienced. I had with this establishment was a few months back and they wanted to charge me $500 for breaks only. That wasn't going to happen and another company I paid $300 for ceramic brakes and rotors. Second poor experience. I live local so I figured I would give them another shot and see how much it was to mount and balance my Mickey Thompson tires that were sent to by the VP of Lucas oil. They proceeded to inform me they don't mount and balance any tires that aren't theirs, let's see how Lucas Oil VP feels about that. Waiting area was open, bad coffee and popcorn and a vending machine. I was in and out, didn't have to wait 2 hours like the unnamed tire place on Standiford. I didn't feel pressured or ignored here. We were on a road trip with our kids and dogs when our travel trailer had a flat tire. We stopped at the Oakdale shop and were told that it would be a 2 hour wait to have it fixed. With it being 100+ degrees outside, we needed a quicker fix so our dogs wouldn't over heat. We called Escalon and they told us that it would be a 45 minute wait and we could bring our dogs inside if necessary. We showed up and were greeted by Raphael. He took us right to the bay, got the tire off and repaired in under 15 minutes. We were able to keep the car running and AC going for our pups, and it was significantly less time than expected. We would definitely recommend them and will be going back. read more

Nothing like the shops in Washington state. Put defective tires on my car and did such a bad alignment job that if you let go of the wheel, it would shoot off the road. Tires were separating the day I bought them, took them back the next day and was told nothing was wrong, took it to a different Les Schwab and they had to replace the tires for being defective. The Washington locations are solid, the California locations are worse than a walmart repair center. read more

I have a BMW M3. I purchased brand new bushings for a control arm on my car. I purchased these online because most shops are special order on my car anyways. I bought the parts because I planned on doing the work myself. Replacing these bushings are simple, 4 bolts and they are both on. The reason I decided to have a shop do it, is because I didn't have access to a lift. A lift makes things 10 timers easier. Les Schwab refused to work on my car unless I bought their parts. I even waived the warranty. They still said no. Being that I was a long time customer there, I didn't think they would be so rude. They just lost a customer. Fuck them! read more

Purchased Toyo tires for one of our fleet vehicles. This was Les Schwabs top rated tire. After 9 months we have now had 3 tires come apart. Every time These guys would do nothing but give us a small pro-rated discount on a replacement tire. I am in the service industry myself and can see the first time doing this but after 3 times. There comes a time to stand behind the product you sell. You just have to take it in the shorts and please the customer. Trust me its not fun but the customer always comes first. Had an appointment at 9 o'clock, arrived at 850 bit my car didnt get in the garage until 9:50. Then they refused to rotate the new tires on the front (fwd car) because in his judjement the tires were too worn (tires where slightly over six months old). Then stared at me for 30 seconds when told then just to replace the tires I specified. Receptionist was rude and unfriendly aswell. Im still waiting for my car as I write this. Ive been to this Les Schwab in Escalon many, many times!! Ive gotten 2 sets of tires for my F350 dually and a set of car tires for my mustang and they have great deals, great quality tires and are always soooo nice and helpful. When I go in for tire rotation, I am always in and out within 1 hour or less even on their busy, busy days. This Les Schwab location will forever be my tire place for as long as I live here. I absolutely love this establishment! I regularly check my tires to make sure everything is good to go. I originally went to another tire shop to see what condition my tires were in. However, I was shocked to hear my tires were in such bad condition, the associate there highly advised me to buy all new tires that day for an expensive price. Immediately, I felt uncomfortable and felt being taken advantage of because I knew they couldn't have been that bad. Wanting to get a second opinion, the next day I went to Les Schwab. Without mentioning my prior experience, I simply asked for air in my tires and what condition my tires were. To my surprise, Armando (the associate that was assisting me) said my tires were still in good condition and would last me a while and not to worry . Armando was immensely friendly and informative. He even noticed I was missing air cap on one of my tires. He gave me one with no charge. What I appreciated the most about Les Schwab and Armando are that they respect their costumers. Being that I am a woman, I feel establishments like these target woman into fearful situations where we are forced to buy expensive products in the benefit of the seller.
