Brought my husband's 2023 R7 to have some after market parts ( finder elminator kit, finders, lights) and paint job done sometime in the beginning of June. We were quoted a price and time of two weeks and were so excited. Week two comes up, we call, bike still not ready, week after week same issue. We just got the bike brand spanking new so, we really wanted the bike back when we were told it would be done. Today, we finally got our bike back. Price jumped triple and it's now July 10th. The owner is super nice so it was so hard for us to be completely be upfront about the issues. When coming here make sure that every step and price is calculated. We were looking at a 1800 job spent 4100. Can't be mad at the techs or mechanics, was only in contact with the owner. The bike looks amazing. Probably won't be back, lied to multiple times and the price wasn't solid (even was told at the end we were given a discount,added up the price on receipt and it was less than what was charged). Really upset, but good job to the painter and techs that worked on the bike. It looks amazing. So, all that said that's why I gave a two star. read more

Dropped off 2 waverunners back in September. Every week I was told 'this weekend I'll have you wrapped up'. Weeks and months went by. The machines sat outside uncovered for 9 months. Every time I said I was coming to just pick them up, they claimed they could not get to them because he 'shared a yard with a landscaper and his trucks and trailers were in the way'. Worst experience ever. I know businesses are facing tough times, however, I verified that getting the supermoto kit I wanted would not be an issue before I placed and paid upfront for my order. Within 2 weeks, I was informed my chain wasn't available. I made a substitution. They then said my wheels would be ready early. Great. I was then told they used a 4.25" rear not the 5'' I ordered. They told me the 5" wouldn't be available for possibly a year but they would put the 160 tire on the narrow rim...not right or safe! They ended up putting a 140 tire on and sent the wheels 4 weeks later. I opened the box to get a note stating 'the front brake rotor and bracket wouldn't be available for 6 months, but, they wanted to get the wheels to me". So far nothing is "as ordered" or "as I wanted" or "usable as intended" for an undetermined amount of time. I requested a refund since they took all the money up front. I returned the wheels, packaged as they sent them to me. Now they were damaged in shipping. This company has no integrity. The sales person was so determined to save the sale she made me feel as though I was being unreasonable. I simply wanted what I ordered (and paid for) not a "frankenstined pckg". BUYER BE WARE... DO NOT PAY UP FRONT! I will post this everywhere so other folks don't go through this unaware! Simple communication and upfront honesty would have prevented this. This cost me time and several hundred dollars for the "damage" . I urge you to shop elsewhere. They take no responsibility. read more

After 2 months my bike wasn't done , it was promised to be done in a week. I payed Mike in full when I dropped it off. When I went and checked on it after 8 weeks and numerous calls, I found it to be untouched. I had to call the police to get my bike and money back. Mike lied to me several times as to why the bike wasn't done. When I finally got my bike and refund back, he said they did do the tuneup. But I don't think so, the same dirty oil filter was on it, the tape seal was intact on the valve cover, and the oil was still dirty, as well as the air filter. I recently had Cycle house rebuild my 14 yr old sons bike ,they did a horrible job and now the bike won't start and has a crack in the ingine,we took it back for them to fix their mistake and the welded the totally wrong area and then were very rude and unprofessional about fixing it . Very disappointed with the money we spent to fix it. I would not recommend them to anyone . Mike does not know how to run a business every time I called about my bike he would raise his voice and hang up the phone when I was asking simple questions. He had my bike in the shop for 3 months before he even touched it. I was quoted a much lower number initially, then when I went back to pickup and pay... there were several extra fees which hadn't been disclosed originally adding a significant amount to the end total. I called him out on his mistake and he made me out to be the idiot. Never going going back, nor should you! While dropping off my equipment Mike was cussing and moaning about something and I asked him what the issue was, he replied "we get one sunny day and all you a**holes want to have your bikes worked on. I just had 18 calls!!", first thought in my mind was... wow, your shop is busy, your employees are busy and earning an income while thousands if not millions of people are out of work, and your complaining about being busy?? My mind just exploded. Too bad I wasn't able to record it. Best shop in town. The cycle house and their staff are the best! I have mostly dealt with Mike and he is awesome. I've been to just about every cycle shop in the salt lake valley and this is the only one where I get help from people who are genuinely interested in helping. They don't push parts or service you don't need. In fact, they often suggest less expensive alternatives to get the job done just as well, if not better, than more expensive options. I ordered a rear wheel for my XR650R online from the Cycle House to take with me out of the country. I also spoke to Corinne on the telephone. She answered all my questions. Turns out that the wheel supplier custom builds each wheel to order and it was taking a bit longer than I had expected. I was getting worried that my wheel wouldn't arrive before my flight, but Corinne was on top of it. She called the supplier to verify the completion date and even paid for the expedited shipping to make sure I got it on time - which i did and i'm super happy with the end product! BEWARE DO NOT even step foot in this place! I hadn't needed any work done in years and years and this place used to be good last I had work done here like 20 years ago so unfortunately took my bike there this early spring of 2019. They quoted me a price and time frame of 2 weeks max. 2 MONTHS later, price was 3x's what they quoted me! They did things I did not ask for and didn't need done like they confused my work order with another bikes and that other bike didn't get the requested work done but sure they got charged also! It should have been expected as the owner Mike just chicken scratched a mess of notes on a random paper when I explained the work I wanted done. THEN when finally got my bike after 2 MONTHS of politely coming in asking on the progress to just get lame excuse after lame excuse, it LEAKED antifreeze right off and the timing chain made a slapping noise and have oil leaks. I was quoted a price of $80. When I brought in my bike, they said it was $100. Then when I came to pick it up, the bill had jumped to $130. they denied their lie and insisted in the middle of the conversation that the price had always been $165. I couldn't leave because they held my bike. after tax I was forced to pay neerly $190 to fix a flat tire. Go to Quad and Cycle on State and i80.
