I was upfront about everything and never tried to hide my intentions. I even planned to come back the next day to finish the paperwork once financing was squared away. But as soon as I said I wouldn't be signing that night without the confirmed rate, the tone shifted. I was pressured in front of the entire team, questioned on whether I had talked to other dealers, and even had a sarcastic offer of a $500 check if the rate wasn't what they insisted it would be--right in front of everyone. It stopped feeling like a professional transaction and started feeling like an ego contest. After I left, I received multiple texts that became increasingly guilt-trippy and unprofessional--accusing me of backing out, being dishonest, and placing blame over a "40-cent monthly difference." The reality is, I walked because of how I was treated, not the rate or the money. Everyone has the right to pause and confirm financing on a major purchase. If a dealership can't respect that, it says everything. I ended up finding a better experience elsewhere--no pressure, no theatrics, just transparency and respect. read more

I purchased a dirtbike from them that was used and they said they rebuilt the top end and checked over the bike to fix a couple things. I went on my first ride it was wobbling like crazy because the spokes were lose and I found out that the rear brake wasn't working I took it in and they handled it but somehow they got defensive when I told them that they didn't look over the bike like they said they did and that it was a major safety issue. I only rode the bike for 6hrs that summer due to a back injury. I took the bike in because it started making a little tick and blue smoke when I started it this winter. they told me the bike was good and that I should just go out and ride it. the next day it blew. they don't want anything to do with me now and made me wait hours for a call back. they hate owning up to things and they are only nice when it comes to making a purchase. We went in to buy a new sxs and the pushy salesmen and super sleazy owner forced us to get a loan approval before we could test drive the machine even though we were going to pay cash. By the time they got the approval it was past closing and they said to come back the following day. The next day we went to different dealer asked to test drive one. They asked for a license and handed me the keys. They laughed when I asked if i needed a loan approval before the test drive. I wrote them check and left with my new pioneer. What made it excellent were the staff-in particular our sales person Tyler who always returned my calls, kept on top of our slow to arrive ATV purchase, and who got our accessories put on the vehicle within one day. I was in the market to buy a Talon SXS. It was busy that day but was never approached if I needed help. We where there for probably a hour, we sat in the different machine's and even went to the parts department to ask if I could borrow a tape measure. We were measuring to see if the trailer we had would fit a 4 seater. I returned the tape measure and said thank you and then looked one last time at the models. Well needless to say we purchased a 2020 live valve 4 seater at Karl Malone Power Sports. Thanks for letting us look but can't say I would purchase from here. They use to be a small business up in cottonwood but since there move to a big fancy building I guess a little guy in the market for a SXS gets no attention. I'll begin by saying my experience with motorcycle mechanics has been so consistently bad it's led me to believe they are all shady, unqualified, a**holes who will take any and every opportunity to swindle customers out of every possible penny. HOWEVER, the folks at Honda World showed me that there are great mechanics out there and that quality customer service does exist. I brought in my 1999 Honda Shadow Aero for new tires and to check on an oil leak. They found the problem straightaway and communicated with me throughout the entire process, explaining what steps needed to be taken and quoting me part prices and giving me several options for the tires. Given that it was the end of the season they got my bike back to me much sooner than I'd expected and all was right in the world. They even gave me a veterans discount on parts and labor and I have to say, that's a new one for me! I was pleasantly surprised at how caring and professional they were throughout the entire transaction. And when I told the cashier how great it all was she said, "well I can't give you another discount, but I can give you a shirt?" Outstanding service from my first call to riding my bike off the lot. so we bought 2 Honda ruckuses and one was new 2023. the 2nd one was a 2022 so almost new. it had 380 miles on it and when we got it home it would not go past 25 mph. also it was cutting off like it wasn't getting fuel. we looked at the filters and oil and the air filter they gave us was black and the oil wasn't changed either. they told us the serviced it before we bought it. bullshit. they don't care enough to service it. so we took it back so they could make it right so my wife could have a good bike to ride. they called almost a week later to tell us it's fixed. we added some fuel cleaner and your good. well when we got it back it still won't go over 25 with a 125 pound guy riding it. oh also they left the same black air filter in it. they didn't even have the decency to put a new one in. I will never buy shit from them again. whoever the sales manager is who makes the final deal with you is an asshole who said they always service everything. I have proof they don't. Lazy assholes. Again don't buy there. We told them we will pay the difference for a new ruckus and they said no that were stuck with the shit one. It had only been 3 days when we asked them. read more

I brought my pioneer 1000 in for a recall and an oil change. When I went to pick it up I had a hole in my side window. I have tracks on it and after market windows for the doors. I asked what happened to the window and the y brought me in to review the photos they had taken when I dropped it off. Sure enough there was nothing in the photos. So they said they would replace the driver side door windows and could do it right then if I could wait. I told them I had my grandkids with me and could leave the machine and pick it up the next day. Well the next day an hour before I was supposed to pick it up the service manager called to say that he had looked at the photos and videos for over 5 hours and had finally discovered what appeared to be a blemish were the hole was located. So they would not be replacing the window as his contention was the hole was there when I dropped it off. Interesting that the blemish wasn't there in the picture the day before when they said they would take responsibility but after 5 hours of pouring over the photos it magically appeared. I went out and picked up the machine and he showed me the photo. This did show what appeared to be a fuzzy spot when he zoomed way in but not a hole. He did say that their photos are not high resolution photos. Which in my opinion defeats the purpose of the photos. I asked about the photos with the machine on the trailer as the ones he was showing had the machine on the ground. He said he didn't have photos of the machine on the trailer. I remember them taking pictures before they took it off the trailer. Now how the spot appeared the next day but couldn't be seen the day before is beyond me. The service manager also told me when he had called to tell me they would not be replacing the window to come pick my machine up and take it to another dealer to get serviced from now on. My advice to you if you are going to take your machine to Honda World to get serviced, is to take your own photos when you drop it off and make sure you have their service tech in the photos as proof the photos are legit. As for me I will be following the service managers advice and getting all my service and purchases at another dealer. read more

I recently went into Honda world to have my tire changed and was recommended to get a few other items. Not a problem. I was able to pick some things that I wanted and let go of other items that were mainly cosmetic. They said It would take 4 to 5 days. That's a while but I thought ok cook so about a week. It ended up being 4 to 5 WEEKS!!! I know I'm not the only one who has experienced this. COVID, civil unrest or riots, it doesn't matter. Honda needs to better set expectations. If they said 4-5 weeks initially that would be understandable but when expectations are completely missed, that's a bit of a loss. When we got there I noticed the motorcycle was in great condition and looked fantastic but however when he showed me what the total cost was it was almost $1800 more. I was quoted a price for a repair and agreed. After bringing my bike to the shop they told me they had maid an error but it would be ok. After dropping off my bike and driving home I received a call and the price went up over 5X the quoted amount with no guarantee on the work. If I could give them zero stars, I would. Was considering trading a bike in for a four wheeler. Steve was my salesperson. He lied to me on multiple occasions. When I presented this issue to management, they told me he is a retired highway patrol officer, therefor I should excuse his conduct. That's sad. What did Steve lie to me about? He asked me to fill out a credit check app, which I did, but only agreed to a credit check once a deal had been reached. Steve promised me he would not run my credit until I gave him the word. You guessed it, he ran my credit without my permission. He said he thought I would be ok with it, since I wanted to know estimated finance rates through Honda vs a credit union. How does that come close to me saying I'm ready to buy and giving him permission to run my credit? The deal was not agreed on, and I was simply curious what general rates were. Any other dealer I've been to can give me an estimate on rates without running credit, especially since I already know my score. Steve argued with me and tried to place blame on his supervisor, who wanted to argue with me, and who would not listen to me. Also..... His supervisor told me in one breath my bike is the cleanest he's ever seen, and also that there's a huge mechanical issue with it. It's in excellent shape with under three thousand miles on it. I'm very educated on the type of bike I ride, and when he started going off on how it's made in China, and how no one wants them because parts come from China, I was floored. 1. My bike is Korean. 2. Parts are readily available for it. 3. It's in perfect running condition. The final straw was when I looked at the final price sheet with payment numbers, and realized they wrote in $1,500 extra fees not disclosed to me when I asked for the total price from Steve. The original price sheet had the total price listed at $1,500 lower than the sheet with payment options. WTF. Once again, Steve lied to me. I challenged Steve as to why he quoted me a price $1,500 lower. He pinned the blame on me, because I interrupted him during the conversation. I agree, it was my fault for walking through Honda World's doorstep. I'm happy to go elsewhere. read more

My brother brought his CR 500 to this place to have some repairs done. They quoted him $1,200 to do the job. He paid $800 up front for parts, but after the bike had been there for over a year without being repaired he got fed up and went to pick it up. Every time he called over the prior year they gave him one excuse after another for why they couldn't fix it. They also claimed they needed more than the $1,200 they originally quoted him to fix it. He finally went and picked it up and the nice wheelset he had on it when he dropped it off was gone and replaced with an old junky set. Nobody could give him any answers for where it went. He took the bike to an independent guy who fixed it for him in three weeks for $200. Unbelievable incompetence. When he told me the story I was so angry about it I decided to leave a review about this place in his behalf because he doesn't use Yelp. Spread the word. This place is a joke. I can't imagine what kind of incompetence it takes to create a situation like the one my brother went through, but it borders on criminal negligence the way he was treated. They may not have stolen his rimset, but someone replaced it with an old set and they didn't bother to mention it to him. Wow. What else can be said. They don't deserve to be in business. Hopefully they won't be soon so nobody else has to deal with the grief of dealing with their negligence. We're considering picketing this place to warn others. They were rude before and after the bike purchase. I was asking questions about a helmet for sale. Turns out I misread the sale; yet instead of just letting me know the price an older lady that was working decided to turn to her co-worker and make fun of me about the mix up. I still do not know the actual price. Then on the way out of the store after our purchase of a nice used bike. We were handed a discount card, that would only be valid if we left feedback on Yelp. While servicing my new Africa Twin they found rust in the gas tank so they called Honda and were told it was okay? But the service manager Matthew didn't feel right about it so they ordered a new one only to find that when it arrived it was damaged. My salesman, Jeremy, was impeccably attentive, laid back (as in no pressure), and enthusiastic - I cannot say enough good things about his level of service. Financing was a breeze and I was out the door on my new Interstate in a couple of hours. Took bike in for service 3 weeks ago, 350 miles on it mind you. still not complete as there were issues with hoses and so forth that they want me to pay for that I feel should be under warranty. They have not reached out to me at all, I have to continually call them. Just spoke to them 2 minutes ago, they are waiting for approval, haven't even orders parts. WTF, I don't know what's going on. I had the misfortune of having to speak with Ryan Bilanzich who started everything off very well by welcoming me to the store. After explaining to him what my needs were and what motorcycle I wanted, he proceeded to tell me that was not the right bike for me since I needed the 2014 model, ignoring everything I mentioned to him prior to that. After telling him that I have a few financial concerns to tend to first and my visit is just to check out the bike I wanted to see, he tells me he's going to draw up the paper work. He then proceeds to show me a listing of a car his boss bought and talking about a vehicle I have no interest in hearing about. I come here to buy a bike to be told about an Audi R8. Again a pointless conversation but I humor him nevertheless. He then tells me I should hit the dunes with him and tries to show me a few pictures on his phone after scrolling through two inappropriate images. I come to the store to talk about a bike I want and see what options I have and I get a conversation about a car I don't care about, riding the dunes and end up having to look at his dirty pictures on his phone. I don't care how lax an environment is, this is NOT the experience I wanted. Every concern I have was ignored and in the end magnified. Just as a heads up by state and federal law, showing a customer nudes is considered sexual harassment. Choose some better sales associates. My experience has been sleazy to say the least. Major bummer dealing with this place. I have an '81 CB650. I CALLED IN ADVANCE to make sure that they would take my vintage bike in for service. The employee I spoke to assured me that they would. She said no problem, bring it down. I spent money renting a U-haul truck and bothered my neighbor to help me load the bike, then drove 30 miles down to Sandy from Salt Lake. Once there, the service manager turned me away, told me they didn't have time and I was basically out of luck. Waste of time, energy, money, and a Saturday morning, which could have easily been avoided with better service. They should train their employees better to give out correct information so people don't waste their time. read more

I am rarely motivated to write a review about a retail experience, but these guys are worth every word on this page and every dollar I've spent (and will spend) with them. I first went to Honda World back in October to ask some questions about a classic sport-bike I was considering purchasing (an 86 VF500F Interceptor). The bike wasn't running which could have meant any number of things. Also, being a 25 year old bike I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to find someone who knew enough about the older technology to service the bike. Enter Jayson Pawlowski, the Service Manager at Honda World. This guy immediately took me under his wing and introduced me to Dennis, a Honda World Mechanic who has forgotten more about motorcycle maintenance than most will learn in a lifetime. He worked on 86 Interceptors back when they were new! Jayson and Dennis took well over an hour of their time to help me understand the intricacies of the older Interceptors; what to look for and what should cause me to walk away. Even Ryan, the Sales Manager, got involved in the conversation and shared his advice. What I found interesting was that even though Ryan was the Sales Manager, not once did he try to talk me out of buying the Interceptor and into buying a newer Honda. In fact, being a true motorcycle lover himself, Ryan actually encouraged me to pick up the classic bike! Long story short, I bought the Interceptor and had it delivered to Honda World on a Sunday when they were closed. Jayson came in on his day off to bring the bike inside so it would be safe. This was truly above and beyond, and totally unexpected. Within a week, Dennis had the old Interceptor running like new, and this is NO exaggeration. Dennis is truly a Jedi Master when it comes to bikes. It is obvious that he loves what he does and that he takes great pride in his work. Since then I've been back for tires, gear and just to chat with the guys. They treat me like family. For the best service on the planet, head to Honda World. You won't be disappointed. In fact, I'm toying with the idea of purchasing a newer Honda to keep the miles off my Interceptor. Looks like Ryan may get to sell me a bike after all! These guys are GREAT. If you're in the market for a Honda or need service on your bike, this is the place to go.
