This is a great shop with great employees! I had my bike at a dealership TWICE for a slow oil leak (couple drops a day, only when the engine was hot), the first time they said they couldn't find it, and the second time I pointed to exactly where it was coming from and showed them the oil build-up from the source. They didn't fix it either time, and I'm pretty sure they didn't even LOOK at it at least one of those times. Realizing that I would never get a satisfactory resolution from them, I took it to another repair shop that was not too far from my house. They had my bike for a full TWO MONTHS and charged me a ton in labor, and it was leaking again the day after I got it back. So based on the reviews here I tried out Cycle One as sort of a last resort before I decided to just live with cleaning the spots off the garage floor every day. I got it back in less than 2 business days, and it's fixed for real! That and a brake job still came in at literally a fraction of what I paid at the last place. Ernie and his crew have earned a new loyal customer. It's sad that I have to drive this far to find an honest and fair motorcycle shop, but it's certainly worth the drive. read more

Honest and professional owner. Lowered the estimate significantly when he discovered the issue was much simpler than the initial diagnosis suggested. He could've easily left me in the dark and charged almost $200 more. Couldn't be happier. Also the fastest turn around time I've ever experienced from a motorcycle mechanic A dealership refused to work on my 1998 TL1000R because of its age and complexity. Went in to get an oil change, I don't know if they were busy or just super careless but they did not screw in the oil plug correctly and within a few days it came out, Oil came out all over my boots while In was riding on the freeway, my bike seized up and they did denied it was their fault. My oil change at Cycle One Motorsports ended up costing me several grand. read more

Friendly initial service I'll give them, but when I got my bike back from a routine oil change, one slide peg was missing and days later driving down I-4 at 60mph, the entire left fairing of my Kawasaki Ninja 636 flew off and hit me in the face. Had it caught the handlebar I would have went down hard in traffic, maybe for good. When I went back and told them, they denied any responsibility despite the bike being in perfect condition before I gave it to them. Trust is everything with the people who handle your motorcycle and these guys obviously cannot be trusted. Do not go here. It almost cost me my life. read more

Couldn't have asked for more. I new to Orlando and a female rider. I am used to being talked down to and sometimes bilked by bike shops so I was leery. I checked Yelp and found these guys. Very fair prices, fast service and a great staff. I called ahead and they said no appt needed. Showed up next day for new rear tire and oil change. Was told I needed back breaks but they gave me a deal on labor since wheel was off. I had already figured I needed brakes. Price was below other shops and bike was ready in an hour. Staff was great and I won't go anywhere else. The dealership is less than 5 miles from me but I will gladly make the 15 mile drive across Orlando again for Cycle One read more

Took it in to get is serviced and get my oil changed. They did not put the oil plug in correctly, my bike leaked oil and my engine is ruined. They did not back up their work. AVOID THIS SHOP AT ALL COST. Still dealing with this shop, had to get a lawyer.... read more

My missus ate it at 45mph on her beautiful scooter. We got it to Cycle One where Ernie said, well "the parts add up, there is a lot of plastic and internal bits broken in there". I was steeled for the big hit when he gave us the estimate which was less than I expected. But when we went to pick it up after it was repaired, the bill was $200 less than the estimate. Fantastic, and the bike looked like out of a Honda showroom for real. Note: we live in Orlando not Saint Augustine. We moved here last year. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE HERE!!! Ernie is a knowledgable mechanic, whenever i need to know something about an engine or something he has the answer.. which is a huge let down when i take my bike to be worked on by him and it has problems very soon there after.. every time he works on a specific part on my bike the bolts are so over tightened i often end up stripping them trying to remove them later.. ernie knows what hes doing but he does bad work.. dont take your bike here unless you want a chain coming off on the east-west ( like happened to me after getting a chain put on here), or having to take your bike to another shop to get a stripped bolt removed that someone put on with an air wrench because he was too damn lazy to put on by hand... read more

PLEASE DONT GO HERE. They over charge for parts and not by 10-20$, but double the price. I advise everyone who has their receipts to check the prices of parts and they question the labor. My receipt is showing 500$ for a crank. A crank is only 250$. He asked for 600$ worth of labor for a job that would of costed any other mechanic 250$ MAX 300. He told me the bike threw the rod, the rod is perfectly in tact and has no play. I spent 960$ 2-3 weeks ago to redo my valves with him and he told me my cylinder head crashed into it and ruined it. They're perfectly fine. The bike is just torn apart. He advised I sell the bike and buy a 2018 or 19. It's a 2010 CRF 250R. I had another mechanic double check his work and he said you were about to be robbed in pure daylight. These guys are crooks. They come across as nice and friendly, but he's in the game to get rich. Before I went and posted it for sale, I took it to a mechanic down the road, "Joey's Motor shop" or whatever. And he confirmed and showed me everything on the books what it will cost. I can confidently say I'm never ever going back to cycle gear. read more

My motorcycle was only running on one cylinder. I brought my bike in and Ernie the owner told me that the problem was not carburetor related , the problem was electrical and they did not want to work on the bike. Ernie was frequently speaking in Spanish to the mechanic and was borderline rude to me . I decided to work on the problem myself and the problem was in the carburetor. read more

I have to say one of the worst shops I have ever had to deal with, took our 400ex there for service he stated we needed the top end rebuilt over $900 later our bike was back in service, first weekend we took her out spittin and sputtering 3 hours of ride and took her home, the next weekend we tried again 30 minutes and she was done wouldnt start so took the bike back to the shop he states we ruined the motor we ruined the brand new pistons he put in he said you took it in the dirt thats how you ruined umm its a 4 wheeler where do you ride them in the street? he isnt willing to cover anything what a rip off. Iam going to have to seak a lawyer to get to the bottom of this but after $900 he assured us no problems. and now we haev problems and he isnt backing any of his work what a jerk dont go to this shop there are other good shops in town please spread the word read more

Don't bother if you have an American Made bike. I took a tire and a wheel to them for mounting and they said no problem until they found out it was for a Harley then they said they wouldn't do it. When I asked for a reason why all I was told was "because the boss said so". Give me a break, if they are not capable of mounting a tire on a Harley rim I would think twice about letting them work on any motorcycle. read more
