I reserved a bicycle rental with a helmet and lock two months in advance and KBS had everything…read moreready for me when I showed up. The helmet was clean and the lock worked perfectly. The bike came with a spare tube and tool kit with two water bottle cages on the bike frame. The bike shop location is great, just a couple miles east of downtown via E Robinson Street through the Milk District. I biked through Winter Park to Park Lake/Highland, and then downtown before returning to the shop 5 hours later. I'll note that practically every lake in Orlando (which are every few blocks in this city) has a city park around it with a water station. My water bottle never went empty. Many parks have exercise stations where you can mix in some other exercises with your bike ride. Bluejacket Park in particular has a station with extensive exercise equipment in good condition. Lynx bus route 51 runs between the Lynx Central Station downtown and the Orlando International Airport (MCO) and drives right in front of KBS with a stop across the street. I used this bus route to arrive at KBS from downtown and then caught the bus to MCO after returning my rental bicycle. A short walk north on Primrose Road is the Colonial Plaza Super Stop where Lynx routes 6, 13, 104, and 51 connect. Lynx routes 28 and 29 drive by just half a block north along Colonial Drive. In hindsight, I wish I had stopped by KBS to pick up my rental bicycle on my arrival date and taken it to my hotel for my entire trip instead of just my last day. KBS' staff was friendly and the bicycle worked without a single issue. I would book with KBS again and I highly recommend them. He tightened every single nut and screw on my bicycle he tested every single part of my bicycle and he even test drove my bicycle. The staff of Dano, Dean and Julian are knowledgeable, professional and provide detailed assessments of your work order. As part of this year's Spring Tune-up, I went in knowing I had to have my brakes checked as well as possibly getting a new chain cassette as my gears were not working properly in the 3-5 shift range. After consultation with me, Dean also informed me that my rear tire had dry rot and should be replaced. I had him replace the tube also. He also noticed the handlebars headset was quite loose and needed attention. He had to order the part for that fix. In all, Retro installed the new cassette and chain, adjusted shifting, replaced the rear brake cable, housing, and pads, adjusted both brakes, cleaned the frame and replaced and adjusted the headset, all for around $200. When I came to pick up my bike, Dean stated that he noticed my handle grips were very sticky and worn. He said he put on some better take off grips Retro had in the store and did not charge me for them! Now, that is taking care of a loyal customer! I even got a $10 discount on the final billing based on the points I accumulated in the past year. The bike rides like new and the handle grips are better than my old originals. I highly recommend Retro City Cycles for their dedication to the customer and their quality work.

I saw that this shop was a Dealer for Velotric so I called here to see about the bike. Julian answered the phone and was so kind, patient and helpful as well as everyone that I've encountered here. The owner told me that she did not have my bike in stock but she already had some on order, one of which was the small size that I needed and they would be in shortly. She honored the online price that I found the bike for, gave me a discounted price on shipping and included the assembly. I was thrilled that I had my bike in time for a trip that I was going on. When I picked up my bike, they made recommendations for the carrier and loaned me an apparatus to make it safer for me to transport the bike home. The customer service at this shop is wonderful. I recently had my bike in for a quick check and tune up which was a courtesy of the store, again with Julian offering his warm and knowledgable service. I would highly recommend this bike shop!

When I drove to a trail nearby, my condo, my sprocket chain fell off as I took my bike out of the car. I tried to put it back on, but I couldn't get it on. I searched online for a bike shop nearby and found this shop although on the Google map it was called David's World of Cycles. I drove there and walked in, and Felix asked how he could help. I told him I had an old bike that needed a sprocket chain repair. He came outside and helped me take my bike out of my car and took it inside. He took a look at it and call me how he could help and I told him I'd like to get a total repair because my bike was 11 years old and needing several things. I needed a new back tire, the brakes needed tightened, the derailer needed replaced, and the seat needed tightening. He gave me an estimate, and I wanted to pay in advance so he typed my name into his computer and to my surprise, my name and info was already in there. He told me that his shop was it Trek bike shop and that my bike was a Trek brand. I had no idea. My name was still in the computer from where I had bought my bike in Virginia 11 years ago. I felt like my bike had found the mothership. Felix was very encouraging and said he would try to fix my bike. It took a couple days, but it was a beautiful when it was done. When I went back, Gus helped me put my bike back on my bike rack. I found the staff of this bike shop to be so friendly and helpful and I was so very grateful. I didn't mind spending the money to get a bike overhaul since my birthday is coming up. Thank you to the people at Trek bicycle of Orlando.

Jonathan (manager-owner) was extremely professional and clear in what needed to be done for each bike. They hoisted the bikes and Pointed out the specifics of the service. They were so transparent and set the expectations of what the costs would be. No surprises. Rebecca was also extremely informative, friendly, and spent time with us to explain the bikes that were available, and the accoutrement that we could place to our current bikes. When my wife picked up the bikes, Rebecca assisted, and even explained how we could better utilize our bike transport rack. Really an A+ plus experience at this location and we will definitely be back for more tuneups.

The gentleman texted me and said he had just finished a bike assembly and wanted to know if I still wanted him to come out for our appointment that was scheduled for 12 to 2. I disagreed with him and told him it was for 12 noon and that I had found someone else. He became obnoxious and said he was going to bill me and send me to collections for what I don't know. I'm guessing this guy has not been in business very long. And I doubt if he will be in business very long
