CycleBar is the latest gym to be added in Dunwoody. A Buckhead location is in the making. Dunwoody location is located off Ashford Dunwoody in the Harbor Freight shopping center. It's actually located on the far right side, next to Wild Wings Cafe. Actually, those two are in a separate building not attached to the rest of the plaza. I've heard about these cycling/spinning classes that is like a club, loud music, dark room, so fun. Right now, CycleBar has a few weeks of free classes to try out. Honestly, this gym is very nice, clean, high end, great quality. There are so many complimentary amenities from water bottles, fruits, towels, hair products, hair styling tools, robes, feminine products, and more. It's like VVIP all the way. I've never taken a class where the shoes were provided for you. These shoes are special since it clips on to the bike pedals. I like being in front of the class to hear and watch what the instructor is demonstrating. There are two huge monitors that will let you know your rank of RPM and speed with everyone in the class. The class I attended had 39 people! Overall, the class is fun and interactive. Each machine had a towel for you to wipe down your sweat. Plus every machine also a 4 lb bar for working out the arms. I did have fun but my thighs and butt are so sore. I don't know if it's cause I have a flat Asian booty but I am very sore but am looking forward to go to the class again. I have several more free classes to attend. The classes are pricey compared to other gyms. It depends what you are looking for. If you enjoy cycling, go for it. It is worth it.

Onelife Fitness Perimeter is truly my home gym. I've been a member for about four years now, and…read morethe staff has consistently been amazing--friendly, helpful, and welcoming every time I walk in. While it may seem like there's "not much to review" when it comes to gyms, I genuinely believe not all gyms are the same. Onelife clearly takes pride in their space. The facility is clean, the machines are well-maintained and up to date, and they pay attention to the little details (which I definitely notice). The personal training rates are also very reasonable, and overall, the vibe is exactly what I look for in a gym. You can tell most people are there to actually work out--not just hang around, socialize, or hold up equipment. I really appreciate being in an environment where people are focused, respectful, and using the gym for what it's meant for. If you're looking for a gym that feels welcoming, well-run, and truly built for people who want to move and improve, Onelife Fitness Perimeter is it. I'd also like to give a shout out to the general manager Kamera, she is an absolute ray of sunshine.

Lots of cardio machines on both floors and a designated stretching area and cross fit section. They sell protein shakes, energy drinks and snacks. They also offer amenities like massage chairs and saunas. This location does not have a pool. Only comment I can add is the guy working at the reception can be a little more lively. Just gave off the vibe he didn't want to be there.

If you like to run they have options. Also If you need another office space. I work in the concourse and many of us have access to their own offices and common offices so i wasn't really a fan of anything i saw. Also there's no incentives for people that work in the concourse. I was hoping for a reason to switch to this gym but every dot they dotted and t they crossed didn't pass for me. I would've preferred more modern units, more benches and definitely more dumbbells. My local Y actually beat them on raw weight and benches. Oh and this gym is actually cheaper in NY. If that makes sense.

So it's gonna suck for about a year maybe, then when all the upgrades are done and you finally get to take advantage of an upgraded club, I bet they're going to raise your membership fee! Here's what I'm doing instead: Forum Athletic Club is $15.00 a week or $60 a month. Dynamo Swim Club has awesome swim facilities for a 55 and over pass of $37.00. That's half of the 125.00 I"m paying at Concourse. At some point I'll come back to CAC b/c it's a really nice gym but in the transition, save your money...

I've been coming to Crunch fitness for over a year now and I've really enjoyed my time here…read more This is definitely a gym where if you are a "beginner", just want a solid work out and want to avoid judgement, you'll feel very comfortable. There area also people here who are very serious and experienced in their fitness journey and they are not judgmental at all and don't walk around like they own the place. What has kept me engaged this past year are the group fitness classes that are offered throughout the week. They are led by different trainers and there are many styles of classes to choose from. If you are like me and don't always know what to do in the gym or want to switch up your routine you should give them a try. My membership includes being able to go to other gyms. Usually I stick to Perimeter but I've been to Chamblee as they offer different classes so I enjoy that perk. The gym is always clean. Mr. Richard works so hard to make sure things are clean, in their proper place and that machines are functioning correctly. Parking at this gym leaves a lot to be desired. There are a couple rows of parking right in front. If you don't find a spot there then you will either have to park in the back of the building or a bit further down. This location is in an awkward drive through shopping center type of thing so it can be hard to find decent parking. Staffing wise it seems as though this gym has a decent amount of turnover. There are a few staff members that have worked there consistently, and then others that are newer. You can definitely make a distinction between ones that are more invested than others. Sometimes it feels like they would rather hang out at the counter than assist the members.

I visited the Crunch Fitness Perimeter location as a guest with a friend who had just signed up for…read morea membership. Unfortunately, the experience at the front desk left a very negative impression. We were initially told that my friend was required to provide a bank account and routing number as a second payment method, even though he already had a card on file and the online signup process allowed him to select a card payment option. When we questioned this requirement and asked to see the policy, we were met with resistance. The employee first offered to print the policy, then refused to do so, and eventually admitted that another card could be used after all. The information kept changing throughout the conversation, which made the entire situation confusing and frustrating. What bothered me most was being told I was "aggressive" and being asked whether someone had upset me simply because I requested documentation supporting what we were being told. Asking questions and requesting clarification should not be viewed as a problem. My issue is not with Crunch Fitness itself. My issue is with being provided inconsistent information and the lack of professionalism shown when reasonable questions were asked. Customers deserve clear answers, transparency, and respectful communication. I hope management reviews this situation so future members receive accurate information and a better experience than we did.
