THIS is for sure my favorite bike shop in louisville. The staff is super knowledgeable, fast, efficient, and will help you out with a smile. I really haven't had better customer service in a bike shop like this before. I bought my last bike here and it was a steal. Clearance price and it was exactly what I wanted. I ride a lot and any time I need something done, they fix it super fast and I hardly ever have to leave it overnight. They just handle it. The showroom is super nice and clean. Everything is displayed very well and clearly priced. This is to me, is a premium and tailored store. I feel that my needs are met every time at a fair price considering the quality. Some of the bikes are SUPER expensive, but they have affordable options as well. Anywhere from just a few hundred to thousands if you really want to treat yourself. Parking is terrible on most occasions, so you may have to circle the block a few times. Totally worth it. Pro tip::: Knock on the back door if you happen to get a spot behind the store. They will let you in there too. Get riding! read more

Awesome experience at CycleSmith's. My back tire on my road bike had popped, so I took it in for some new tires. I was overdue for a tune-up as well, so I ordered that too. The guys at CycleSmith's are really friendly and knowledgeable. We had some great conversations about their recommendations and they were fully on board with getting my bike ready for the road. They helped me understand potential problems but they were never pushy or trying to up-sell products. I've ridden my bike about 5-6 times since my tuneup/tire change and it's been so smooth! I purchased 2 specialized como 5.0's from CycleSmith's. JC and Rick were extremely helpful in the selection process and the level of service exceeded my expectations. JC assembled the bikes, explained processes in great detail and even helped tie down the bikes in my trailer. While this store has very personable staff, I have found that they have higher prices than the Specialized site by a bit and higher than online sites by a lot. You should know what parts actually cost and let them know before you buy, or get their recommendation for what you need, buy it yourself and have them install it. read more

Hands-down the best service I've ever received at a hobby/sports store ever. Both gentlemen there were very kind, courteous and understanding to my time limitation. They were able to look at my bike, fix it up, and get me out the door in 10 to 15 minutes (tires). Great bike shop with a good selection of accessories on hand. Owner and team aren't just working a job they are cycling enthusiasts too. Recently got into biking and spent a month going to local bike shops. This shop was by far the most helpful and didn't try to take advantage of a new biker. Staff is super helpful and friendly and will not make you feel inferior for lack of experience. Told them what I was looking for and they gave me multiple options and explained pros and cons of each. Very happy with my purchase and they've been available for any questions I've had. read more

Jonathan, Rick, and Sam will treat you right! No hardselling to try to get you to buy the most expensive bike in the place. Very, very friendly and easy-going. They spend all the time with you that you need and will answer every question you have. They're enthusiastic cyclists themselves and are extremely knowledgeable. Can't recommend these guys enough. Rick provides outstanding customer service to the experienced rider and novice alike. It's encouraging particularly to visit a store which offers such informed guidance without any hint of hard sell or snobbishness if you are not an elite cyclist. They serviced my mountain bike very professionally and took a trade-in on another older ride and I couldn't be happier with the outcome. The store is continuing to evolve and expand stock, recently adding an upstairs used and kids area which is a great addition. Fantastic customer service and a great selection of bikes for every level. Rick is very personable and knowledgeable about what he does and he doesn't make you feel pressured to buy anything. You can tell he truly loves what he does. I called on a Saturday afternoon with a problem on a Rear Derailleur cable and Rick was able to get me in and fix my bike within the hour when he didn't have too. Very refreshing to find a local bike shop where I can go and not be treated as inferior because I'm not in "the club". Thanks Rick! read more

No one had stock but was told I could "check back in October we might have something coming down the pipe (price subject to change ;) )". I found Grit Cycling and Mike through a Google search and I DM'd him on Instagram. I was shocked when he said he had one 48 Cervelo P5 in twlight on the floor. This being my first TT bike I had a lot of questions and he responded promptly and professionally. We agreed to travel to Louisville to pick up and do a professional fitting with him. He also offered me the best and safest way to travel back without having to take the whole bike apart and pay another mechanic to put it back together. Our inbound flight got delayed on Saturday making it impossible to arrive before the shop closed. He graciously offered to come in on Sunday to do my fitting before our flight back home! During my fitting, he was attentive, educational, and responsive to my feedback. The bonus perk was meeting his dog Gravel! The whole process from initial contact, building, fitting, packaging, and traveling back home with my dream bike was effortless. I wasn't made aware of this until the order arrived from The Mower Shop. The inventory specialist at this shop undoubtedly dropped the ball on this one. Additionally, The Mower Shop defers it shipping to a company called Shopify. Accordingly, I received two different shipping charges for the three spindles. The Mower Shop charged me $82.19, and Shopify claimed I should have been charged $39.53. When I called The Mower Shop and requested a reconciliation of the shipping charges, the customer service agent disavowed any knowledge of the Shopify email sent me. Lana then became both argumentative and contentious over the issue. This is the result of a company who subcontracts their shipping responsibility to a separate company and then refuses to accept the errors of either The Mower Shop or Shopify. I recommend you find a Grasshopper sanctioned dealer who processes the order correctly AND does their own shipping to ensure the order is error free and requires few, if any, contacts between the customer and argumentative employees.

The teachers (and support staff) are not only warm and caring, but they also create a fun, stimulating environment that encourages exploration and growth. We've loved seeing the developmental milestones our child has reached, and we know so much of that progress is thanks to the intentional learning experiences and individual attention provided at Primrose. What stands out the most is how happy our child is when we bring her to school and the immediate engagement with the teachers. Primrose teachers are degree level teachers who have the know how and ability to work with the kids according to their age group. The kids have a schedule so they aren't being babysat--they're actually learning. I can't tell you how much my son has made a dramatic shift in his behavior and attitude since starting here & it hasn't even been a month. So if you're child is acting out at his/her current school, investigate what's going on--he/she may just be bored from the lack of activity. To top it all off, the owner Anne Almond rocks! Her smile and personality is contagious and the director Laura Paine is irreplaceable in the quality of professionalism and friendliness she displays to each family. Lastly, I'm a foodie so you know I love the fact that they have a Personal Chef who really prepares healthy meals for the children. My son and daughter always come home telling me about the healthy snacks they've had at Primrose. Parents, I know this was long but if you really truly care about your child's education this is the place you'll want them to be. If you have school-aged children, that's no problem. My daughter is 5 and they pick her up on the bus (that has seatbelts...what?!) everyday from school to attend Primrose for Aftercare! I had a bit of a bike emergency today. My Krampus 29er plus was unable to hold more than 10 lbs of pressure in the tires, bubbling sealant and air through the rim tape. No way was I able to fix it myself before leaving for a mountain bike trip next week. I called CycleSmith's at 10am. They said "bring it in, we'll take a look and fix it today if we have the parts." When arrived at the shop and they saw how massive the tires were ,they said they didn't have wide enough rim tape, but if they had time after fixing all the bikes in the queue, they'd take a look inside today and see what they could do. At 4:30 they called. "Your bike is ready, come in and pick it up." When I arrived JC explained exactly what he found and how he repaired it. Huge thanks to Rick and JC for saving my trip on such short notice. You guys are great!
