I really haven't had better customer service in a bike shop like this before. I bought my last bike here and it was a steal. Clearance price and it was exactly what I wanted. I ride a lot and any time I need something done, they fix it super fast and I hardly ever have to leave it overnight. They just handle it. The showroom is super nice and clean. Everything is displayed very well and clearly priced. This is to me, is a premium and tailored store. I feel that my needs are met every time at a fair price considering the quality. Some of the bikes are SUPER expensive, but they have affordable options as well. Anywhere from just a few hundred to thousands if you really want to treat yourself. Parking is terrible on most occasions, so you may have to circle the block a few times. Totally worth it. Pro tip::: Knock on the back door if you happen to get a spot behind the store. They will let you in there too. Get riding!

I checked every local bike shop and the big players here in Dallas. No one had stock but was told I could "check back in October we might have something coming down the pipe (price subject to change ;) )". I found Grit Cycling and Mike through a Google search and I DM'd him on Instagram. I was shocked when he said he had one 48 Cervelo P5 in twlight on the floor. This being my first TT bike I had a lot of questions and he responded promptly and professionally. We agreed to travel to Louisville to pick up and do a professional fitting with him. He also offered me the best and safest way to travel back without having to take the whole bike apart and pay another mechanic to put it back together. Our inbound flight got delayed on Saturday making it impossible to arrive before the shop closed. He graciously offered to come in on Sunday to do my fitting before our flight back home! During my fitting, he was attentive, educational, and responsive to my feedback. The bonus perk was meeting his dog Gravel! The whole process from initial contact, building, fitting, packaging, and traveling back home with my dream bike was effortless. I don't need to buy another bike for a while but I am tempted to buy a road bike from Mike because his customer service is impeccable! Thanks, Mike and Gravel for my dream bike!

He didn't hesitate to go out and look, took the tire off, and was off to replace it for me. He put it back on for me and took care of a couple other little things for me too. Luck would have it that the Scheller's in Louisville had one of the few remaining models of the TREK FX 3 bikes (next one was over 300 miles away) and I was able to upgrade from the FX 2. I wasn't made aware of this until the order arrived from The Mower Shop. The inventory specialist at this shop undoubtedly dropped the ball on this one. Additionally, The Mower Shop defers it shipping to a company called Shopify. Accordingly, I received two different shipping charges for the three spindles. The Mower Shop charged me $82.19, and Shopify claimed I should have been charged $39.53. When I called The Mower Shop and requested a reconciliation of the shipping charges, the customer service agent disavowed any knowledge of the Shopify email sent me. Lana then became both argumentative and contentious over the issue. This is the result of a company who subcontracts their shipping responsibility to a separate company and then refuses to accept the errors of either The Mower Shop or Shopify. I recommend you find a Grasshopper sanctioned dealer who processes the order correctly AND does their own shipping to ensure the order is error free and requires few, if any, contacts between the customer and argumentative employees.

Then he sends me 7 miles in another direction (to a shop where they took the mower from me no problem). An absolute waste of my day. If someone calls to ask about service you might want to ask what brand they have so as not to waste someones time.

What stands out the most is how happy our child is when we bring her to school and the immediate engagement with the teachers. I researched and found Primrose before it was even built months ago & decided that this was the place my son had to be no matter how many hours I needed to work--he needed to have the best education. Primrose teachers are degree level teachers who have the know how and ability to work with the kids according to their age group. The kids have a schedule so they aren't being babysat--they're actually learning. I can't tell you how much my son has made a dramatic shift in his behavior and attitude since starting here & it hasn't even been a month. So if you're child is acting out at his/her current school, investigate what's going on--he/she may just be bored from the lack of activity. To top it all off, the owner Anne Almond rocks! Her smile and personality is contagious and the director Laura Paine is irreplaceable in the quality of professionalism and friendliness she displays to each family. Lastly, I'm a foodie so you know I love the fact that they have a Personal Chef who really prepares healthy meals for the children. My son and daughter always come home telling me about the healthy snacks they've had at Primrose. Parents, I know this was long but if you really truly care about your child's education this is the place you'll want them to be. If you have school-aged children, that's no problem. My daughter is 5 and they pick her up on the bus (that has seatbelts...what?!) everyday from school to attend Primrose for Aftercare! I kid you not--we're a military family but now that I've found Primrose and the wonderful staff at East Louisville's location--I really don't want to leave, even with me knowing they have 20 or more locations in other states. My fiancé and I recently purchased mountain bikes from an online bike shop and requested On Your Left to assemble the bikes. WORST DECISION EVER!!!! The assembly took a week longer than promised. The estimate given was not even close to the final amount spent. Drew, the owner, was one of the most NARCISSISTIC AND RUDE, individuals I've ever encountered. He was always nice to the other individuals in the bike shop, but appears to have an issue with gay men. One of the bikes had a spoiled shock, and when asked to call the manufacturer about the part, Drew stated, "This could be a rabbit hole and I'll have to charge you by the hour to call." We spent over $900 at his shop, and the shock has never held pressure. All I requested was a phone call to the manufacturer, and was denied this request without further payment. It's all about the money for Drew. What kind of customer service is that! I'll never set foot in On Your Left again, and woe to those who do! I immediately called Vic's Bike Shop, where I purchased my first bike, and was quickly told by the owner (Vic) "NO PROBLEM, BRING YOUR BIKE IN AND WE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT." That is customer service. Lesson learned. For those of you thinking about purchasing a mountain bike in Louisville, I would stay away from ON YOUR LEFT. There are much better choices, and much friendly owners! read more

Wow if only I'd consulted the awful reviews on Yelp before walking through their door, I would have been saved of the ignominy of being treated like a pest instead of a valued customer. I wasn't lucky enough as some of the others may have with the mechanics....I never got that far. Drew, the owner needs to go to prep school to learn the basics about how to treat customers. Otherwise "On Your Left" might just "Get Left Behind". If you are thinking about buying a bike, go to Parkside Bicycles and you can expect much better customer service. On Your Left is my go to shop. I have purchased several bikes from Drew and Derek. Derek is in my opinion one of the best mechanics in town. They are also one of they few shops in Louisville actively involved with supporting KyMBA Louisville, the local advocacy group who promotes and provides sustainable trails that protect the parks for future users. Pricing on new bikes is very competitive and repairs will be done to your expectations but expect to pay a fair price for quality work. read more

Something was wrong with my brakes, so my friend told me to go to On Your Left. They solved it quickly and cheaply and I've had no problems since. While the worker was fixing it, the owner told me about all the good restaurants in Louisville. I'm kinda new here, so that was awesome. Pretty good bike shop, on the spot service, lots of accessories and such for sale. I don't know THAT much about bikes, but they had a bunch of them across a wide range of prices. FANTASTIC! I brought in a frame which Drew helped me with on sizing and then he took it from there by providing build options, sizing and quick turn around. Instead of having me drive back out to Lexington, Denile H. came to my house for the exchange. Luck would have it that the Scheller's in Louisville had one of the few remaining models of the TREK FX 3 bikes (next one was over 300 miles away) and I was able to upgrade from the FX 2. Again, a special thank you to Denile H. for going above and beyond. She deserves all the recognition.

Bicycle Shop May Be Too Good…read more I live in St Louis Missouri and looked all over the internet to find a Raleigh International steel bike in my size as it was somewhat of a rare bike. Tom had the frame in my size and asked me what components I wanted on the bike. He custom built this bike including custom built wheels. The bike has exceeded any expectation I have ever had. Most importantly, I drove down to pick the bike up in January of 2012, have put several thousand miles on the bike and it still has not required any adjustments whatsover. Shifts and brakes beautifully, wheels still true. I have replaced tires and cleaned and re-oiled the chain a few times. Tom thank you so much. May be calling for another bike soon as I promised my son this bike if he got in and attended a certain University. Will be sad to part with it.
