The main reason I decided to write a review on Academy today , is I bought a trail camera but when I got home my son told me it was the wrong one, so back I went, it was effortless to exchange it for the right one. I found a young lady that went that extra mile to find me what I needed, she tore the whole top shelf apart and when I thought all hope was gone, on the very last row she found the camera that I was looking for. Although I made it so close to closing, there was not one moment where I felt rushed. I already had an idea of what I wanted, but they still brought out three other pairs of shoes to try. They asked me questions, were very attentive to my needs, and offered suggestions. Apparently, I had been getting the wrong sized shoes for years. After their help with proper sizing and fitting, the shoes I purchased are the most comfortable walking/running shoes I have ever owned. Im not a runner and I'm a bit out of shape, but I have been taking walks in the shoes and I can feel myself wanting to run because the shoes are so comfortable. Fast forward a week after my purchase I saw my shoes were on sale and saw on the card that they offered price matching. I called the store and they immediately honored the price match from the phone call as I sat comfortably at home! I am very satisfied with my purchase. I don't recall seeing anything regarding our Dynamo soccer team or the Rockets but I'm sure that I overlooked it. I had no problem finding the Cowboys, Texans, Astros and even the New Orleans Saints! It's hard finding anything Saints related here which is why I used to travel to Louisiana many years ago just to find something. I know I could have shopped online but it was a good time for a road trip. Rally House has so many fan favorite items to select from; jewelry, Christmas ornaments, board games, LEGOs...even dominos. Compared to what I spent on hoodies and t-shirts about 8 years ago, prices here are a little more than what I want to spend. I consider myself to be a bargain shopper and tend to shop around (online or in-store) before buying the first thing I see. Walmart, Five Below and other low priced stores in Louisiana is where I would shop so I could get more for my money.
