Just visiting the Maryville area for a week. I flatted on my ride. Turns out my rim strip failed. So brought bike over to Cycology Bicycles and they quickly installed new tubeless ready rim strip and a new tube in my tire and I was on my way. Once finished with the ride, I decided to go back to tubeless so put my tubeless tires on and brought wheels back to Cycology. While I waited They put sealant in and aired them up. Purchased 1st bike from Cycology. $40 cheaper here than surrounding area. Service and staff was outstanding.

Have to be honest - switched back to Harper's as there were too many "add on" charges for my liking during subsequent services.

Went in to get new cleats, $25. She said "We'll put them on for you." Told them I'd shop for $7 chain lube while waiting. When I asked why the total was $45 she apologized for a $10 install fee BUT said the cleats rang up more expensive than marked so I was only being charged the price marked on the cleats NOT the amount the register showed. They were never going to tell me abt the install fee. Amazing. Had they not charged $10 for 5 minutes of work, I would have gone back but one more reason to buy online. read more

Cycology is extremely supportive of the women's cycling community. Their Cycology Women's Road Series have SAG supported rides each Saturday for women all levels, from Beginner to A group. Staff and Service is first rate. Plus Cycology is not only a great bike shop but also a wonderful place to just hang out. They have microbrews on tap, so you can hang out and have a beer after a ride or while waiting on a repair. Love this place! read more

Shadow of its former self. Hardly any inventory. Condescending staff. Fine place to drink a beer, but forget about buying a new bike there. They seem to be an outdoor clothing shop at the expense of their bike side. Sorry to see this happen to what was once an excellent bike shop. read more

We are semi-new to cycling. Went on Saturday to check out a new bike for the wife. Very knowledgeable and friendly, low pressure. Came back on Sunday to buy, and got lots of advice on components and clothes, but not pressuring high dollar stuff. Without a doubt the worst bicycle shop in East TN. They never have the parts I need even though they are a TREK DEALERSHIP. I'm not sure what the problem is. You would think that TREK would require their DEALERS to have at least some knowledge of the product that they were selling but obviously they don't judging by Cycology's extremely poor knowledge of product and obvious refusal to stock proper parts for the equipment that they sell. It is evident what type of person that these people cater to and it's not the people who ride TREK bicycles. This was the very last time that I gave them a chance to rise above their reputation for arrogance and ignorance. Needless to say, they failed miserably. Everything is overpriced also when you compare them to Harper's Bicycle Shop and/or Cedar Bluff Bicycles in knoxville. "Par for the course" when dealing with most businesses in Maryville, TN. Save your time, money and frustration and go to Knoxville for any bicycle needs. :( read more
