It was a true home away from home with a private entrance, kitchen (with stove, microwave, fridge, washer/dryer and all of the fixings) and living room. They gave us a couple of bags of chips and coffee as well. The apartment also included an assortment of games and beach towels we could use. I love that they are as eco-friendly as possible, with marked containers for recycling, housekeeping every 3 days, and refillable soap containers. The location is a short walk from all of the restaurants, shops and water front. I would love to come back and stay here again!

They built a outdoor patio area which was prefect to relax and enjoy the sun before heading out to dinner. Our room was the Jacque Cartier room. Super comfortable queen size bed and linens. The bathroom has a shower claw foot tub. Dee and Chris are great innkeepers. The food here is delicious as well, with breakfast included with our stay. Selection of fresh fruit, yogurt, inn-baked scones, and two hot breakfast options. There also make French pressed coffee, which if you been around PEI, you know there are extremely limited good coffee options. Definitely staying on all our PEI visits.

We also received access codes for the free WiFi, which you need one per device, more on that later. Unfortunately we later discovered that the sites were very small, so small that you had to share your electricity and water access points with your neighbor, and that your RV is directly in front someone else's RV. There are many activities for the children, which include a free hot dog roast on Sunday and daily hayrides, and the small but surprisingly deep pool (3m) was also semi-heated. The major letdown of this campground was the WiFi. It is available everywhere but is so slow (0.46 down, 0.01 up) that it is unusable. I couldn't fetch my email or do anything, really. The WiFi near the offices was much better, but still not acceptable for the price of a KOA.

There is no sound proofing anywhere because it's all a concrete box and sound just bounces everywhere. The shower is made for someone who has the ability to balance on one foot if they need to. There is nothing to grab on to if you need to raise a leg or something. It's slippery glass and concrete in there. I like the idea of just a bed, tiny desk and bathroom in the room. I do NOT like all the squares and rectangles everywhere. Holy cow. It hurts my hands to use the faucets. I am glad I am only staying one night. I do like the walkability. Weird they don't have parking. Have to park at a meter, basically. Meters don't need to be fed on the weekends. I like the fun colors. There are more plugs than I know what to do with. That's good. The lounge area seems weird. 2 TVs? How are 2 groups supposed to watch 2 different shows at the same time? I guess they watch muted with closed captions?
