She took the time to really listen, asked smart questions about how I style it, what I like and don't like, and repeated everything back so we were perfectly on the same page. (The fact that she has gorgeous curly hair herself was an instant confidence boost--she clearly understands curls on a personal level!) I got exactly the cut I asked for: great shape, face-framing layers that actually work with my curl pattern, and it's so easy to manage at home. The shampoo and that incredible head massage were pure bliss. The salon is spotlessly clean, professional yet super relaxing, and the price was completely fair--no feeling overcharged like I've experienced elsewhere. The only criticism I have of this establishment is the appearance needs to be updated and kept up to match the pricing and quality product they offer. Painting, replacing waiting area furniture and carpeting, worn out skirt affixed to reception desk, and perhaps even dusting/cleaning kicked up one notch. Things of that nature need a more critical eye and some monetary investment given the level of salon I think it is.

As a mens haircut, I didn't expect it to take almost 2 hours and have such an awful result! Every part of my hair is extremely uneven and a large chunk of my nape (back hairline) was cut out and now I have to wait for my hair to grow back in before it can even look somewhat even. My stylist was named Bri I believe. Now I have to find a new stylist soon so that they can at least try to fix this or make it look even somewhat presentable to walk around with. My husband and I had booked our wedding reception at Renault Winery and being that we live 2.5 hours away from the vineyard, I had to find a hairdresser in the area that would be willing to travel to the vineyard (on a holiday weekend) to do hair and makeup for my wedding. I went to visit Emily at the salon in January, 2017 for a hair and makeup trial and she does fabulous work. She is extremely meticulous and precise with everything. My makeup looked flawless as did my hair! She is very accommodating and willing to do whatever I asked. I knew right then and there that she would be the one to join me in making me look all glamorous on my special day.. Emily arrived right on time the day of the wedding and did my hair/makeup, along with two others hair style. She is friendly, personable, and just perfect at what she does. She knows how to have fun and make you feel comfortable while still remaining professional. Emily, I wish I lived closer as I would come to you for all my hair needs.
