Wanted to surprise the hubby and wanted a pet friendly area and Wimberley TX did not disappoint Cypress Creek was absolutely breathe taking the room was clean, comfortable and romantic. They even had a gift bag for our dog. So thoughtful I made a reservation about a month in advance never been to Wimberley. I had the best customer service by Albert I would email him and he would respond within the hour and he was full of information. Thank you Albert you are awesome I had so many plans but unfortunately it did not go well the swimming hole was closed which was not updated through the website or Yelp. Zip lining no one answered the phone to make a reservation I tried online and they never had an opening- just a note to call the office Jacob's Well also closed Blue hole was open but no swimming allowed Thoughts outdoor activities will likely be open closer to summer possibly in May Even though we were unable to do the outdoor activities we still had a relaxing mini honeymoon and the best part was we brought our Xena and the stores welcomed her It's just another excuse to come back to Wimberley in June when we know everything will be open read more

This place offered all the rest and relaxation I hoped for and pet friendly too! Thoughtful touches like a welcome care package for my dog and my favorite coffee no less, Fara, so they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. My cottage, #11, backed up creekside and we did enjoy exploring the area. The hot tub was a bonus for sure. The town is only a short distance away, as are the many wineries and parks. The staff maintains the premises well... they were accessible and helpful but left you to your privacy. If you want a "cabin experience" but with all the comfort, then go to Cypress Creek Cottages! Value! These cottages represent a great value. There was nothing particularly outstanding or great about this place, but it was clean, and everything was... okay. For the price, when compared to other options in the area, this place is great. The kitchen could certainly use a few more essential items such as a large pot and maybe a large bowl or two, but we only cooked one meal. While it was a small struggle to make it happen, it was doable. I'd probably stay here again. read more

I was frequent at staying in the white cottage every couple of times each year, 2 nights a stay. The price made a huge jump from $139.00 a night for 2 nights during the week to $209.00 a night. Year 2020 started this and caused a jump to $189.00 a night but for whatever reason (like everything else) the price made another jump so I can no longer afford to stay there . It's a wonderful place with nice clean cottages. Really miss going there. Reason for 3 stars is price jumping! read more

After many years of staying at CCC for Thanksgiving with our families, it unfortunately has come to an end. The cabins are being updated and stove/oven combos are being removed from the cabins. With such a large group, we must cook for breakfast and dinners. This property no longer suites our needs. As we were preparing the pavilion for our Thanksgiving dinner, we were asked by a couple of guests if the oven in the pavilion could be used. When asked why the ovens were removed, mgmt stated that a dishwasher was preferred by many guests. If you can't cook, what good is a dishwasher? If you are planning on cooking while staying at CCC, I'd suggest you look elsewhere. read more

We had a great stay at Cypress Creek Cottages. I won't say it was perfect, but pretty dang close. These cottages feel like they belong on HGTV's Tiny Houses. They pack a lot into a small space. Here are some of the amenities: + Personal, Private Hottub + Fire Place + Cable & HBO + King Size Bed + Patio + Grill + Firepit + Full Kitchen (dishes, stove, freezer, microwave) + Dining Room They also had a couple perks: + Complimentary Candle + Unlimited Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash + Makeup Towel The only problems we had were getting someone on the phone. We called twice and each time they had to call us back, because no one answered. It didn't take too long for them to respond (15 minutes), but it was 15 minutes of us waiting for a response. The bed also wasn't very comfortable. It was hard and the pillows were basic, flat cotton pillows and I'm more of a feather person. I'll definitely be back to try some other cabins! read more

What an amazing stay. The cottage we stayed in, Red, was quaint and cozy. Not only was it clean, but has the comforts of home, including cookware. This cottage is at a short distance from a river where you could sit and listen to nature. Our deck faced light forestry where we were visited daily by squirrel, cardinals, finches, and deer! The staff that we had the pleasure meeting, Jesse, Megan, and Kharma, were absolutely delightful and helpful and gave great recommendations for what the town has to offer. This is our third time here. We love these cottages. It's like a little slice of relaxing, private, dog friendly, heaven. When you book the cottage they e-mail you a code to unlock the door. You don't even check in with anyone when you get here, just go straight in. You are greeted with a welcome package and a clean, bright relaxing, cottage. The only time anyone comes to your cottage is the next morning when the very kind people who work here knock on your door to see if you need anything. We always bring our dog and they leave a welcome package for her too! A cute little note from the resident cat, a dog bed, bowl, bags, puppy pads, a towel and, treats! Stayed for 2 nights. The cottage (#9) was very cozy. Real wood floors, fireplace, blackout curtains throughout. The outdoor fire pit, grill, and seating were nice. Inside of the cabin was clean. Now, I could nitpick some stuff like finding a couple of dirty cups (you're supposed to wash your own dishes, and there's no dish washer, so you're trusting random people cleaned them well). There were tons of leaves throughout the yard that had been sitting there for a long while. The bathroom shower head was made for little people. Small things that would not keep me from going back. We had a very good time and the value was excellent. read more

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at CCC. Easily accessible with electronic locks so even if you pull in late no worries about getting in. Someone checked on us almost every morning to see if we needed anything and if not they left a little note - very easy to get help. The cabin we stayed in backed up to the stream which was easily accessible and perfect for our whole family. The pavilion provided an excellent venue for everyone to get together, cook, eat and visit during the reunion. It was very nice and downtown Wimberley is a short distance down the road! My wife and I spent two nights in cabin 9 with our two dogs and had an amazing time! The thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. The details were well thought out from the VIP welcome dog sleeping pillow, toy, and treats, and all of the citronella candles in the outdoor spaces. We enjoyed swimming in the creek with our dogs and especially loved the closed in deck and sunroom while we all dried off. We will definitely be coming back! read more

I booked a little getaway on short notice for my husband and I while on spring break. I chose this place because it was 1. Available 2. Reasonable 3. Pet friendly and 4. Private hot tub. The location is great and we were able to explore many areas without traveling a hefty amount. The welcome package (V.I.Pet) left for my dog was so thoughtful and made me feel like they valued having pets visit. We enjoyed our stay despite the uncomfortable couch and bed- way too soft for someone with back issues and needs a firm mattress. Also- the outside light shines brightly into the cabin despite the shade being pulled down and there is no switch to turn it off. read more

I finally came across Cypress Creek Cottages after being overwhelmed looking online for a simple place to stay in the hill country that allows pets. Once I saw the pics, read a couple of reviews, AND discovered just how dog friendly this place was, I knew it was my pick. I was only able to stay one night but it was the perfect getaway for my birthday. Private, adorably decorated, private hot tub, fully stocked kitchen, clean clean clean, and a VIP welcome gift for my dog. My dog was able to swim in the creek, play at the little dog park, and romp around with Jasper, who appears to be a big golden retriever that must live on the property. Total sweetheart. I will definitely go back with more friends and hopefully for a longer weekend. read more

A lovely relaxing experience. Our cottage was small but perfect for me, the BF and the pup. We picked this place because it was dog friendly! When we arrived, they forgot the dog welcome package. We called and they apologized and brought it right over. So quickly! The guy who stopped by to set it up was so kind and genuine! Hufflepuff got her treats, her doggy bed and a new toy - plus poop bags!! The kitchen was small but fully stocked - plates, bowls, all cutlery and cookware, drink ware and wine glasses. It has a small refrigerator (bigger than a mini fridge but smaller than a full size refrigerator). The refrigerator does have a separate freezer section and nice touch was that there was already ice made for us! The oven is also mini sized but big enough for a frozen pizza :) The hot tub was clean and worked well. The patio was relaxing. TV in the bedroom and living room. Shower was comfortable and provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We basically had everything we could ask for. There's even a nice grocery store about 5 minutes away so you can run over if you forget anything :) We didn't have any issues with our hot water, hot tub or A/C. We were able to relax and enjoy and renew ourselves which was exactly the plan. Our cottage backed out into the creek which was fun. The water was so clean and it was fun to walk into it and get your feet wet. It's not very deep so not swimming here but it's fun for the pup too. The dog park is a small fenced in area - with poop bags and treats provided! I would definitely come back :) read more

Thinking of a weekend getaway to Wimberley but want a space of your own? This is the space you want. These houses don't look all that fancy from the outside, but inside they're super well-designed, maintained, and stocked with fantastic extra features. My catering crew stayed here over that horrible rainy weekend in October while catering a wedding, and it was more than worth it. The private porch and hot tub overlooking the creek was stunning. The little care package left for us was adorable. The nice man who came by to check on us was adorable. Seriously, y'all, after staying at another location in town more recently (*cough All Wimberley Lodging *cough) you realize how many fumbles a company can make. These folks did it right. Fresh towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner dispensers, suuuper comfy robes, great beds, lots of TV extras, cute notes left on things, and a gorgeous view of the creek. I rented 2 cottages and both were wonderful. They were very clean, decorated and furnished nicely. Quiet location.

We arrived in Wimberley with no reservations, so I feel good in saying that we got extremely lucky discovering these little cottages. Though small, these cottages are very comfortable and have a homelike feel to them immediately. There is only one bathroom, but for such a small place I doubt it would be logical to expect more than that anyways. The master bed is massive, there is a TV in the bedroom. There is also a large TV in the living/dining room. There is a nifty little heater that simulates a fireplace. The upstairs loft is cozy, with two twin sized beds, a small flat screen TV, a fan, as well as a portable AC unit for the hot months. Our cottage was tucked away, far away from the road or any other noises that could potentially bother us. There was also a fully functioning hot tub, talk about a sweet perk! If I am ever in Wimberley again, I would not even consider choosing a different location. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The location was perfect. The amenities were perfect. And best of all, the pricing was perfect for a cottage that could house about five people if one person slept on the couch (which I did, and I found it comfortable enough. Though I wouldn't recommend it to anyone over 5'7". This place is most definitely worth checking out! read more

Stayed in cottage #1. We called for reservations, shopping around for best deal and area for scenery. The lady on the phone spoke to me in a "matter of fact" tone, "we are #1 rated". I figured with that attitude, we were going to get our money's worth, so we booked! ..... $130ish/night, during off season.... maybe 4 vehicles throughout the site. yes, has your private hot tub.... No cleaning service like making the bed or taking old towels. you have to call for fresh towels and old ones to be picked up... At a hotel for $130/night you'd have full housekeeping and breakfast included. Prior to booking asked about river/fishing access, I was informed that the cabins all had access to river. WELL, we did, it was about 5-10ft wide... all you could do was looking. hardly room for 2 couples and a dog... Place was clean but overall appearance was low income apartment feel.... (that is rude and I'm sorry)... Outside decor was very cute and country, really enjoyed the metal sculptures. Place good for overnight stay and quick access into wimberly. read more

This place is a great location if you're visiting Wimberley. It's also within easy driving distance of Driftwood and Dripping Springs. The cottage was super cute, bed was comfy (albeit a bit squeaky), and had all the necessities needed (plates, cups, hairdryer, etc). Because it was February, we had a hard time keeping the cottage at a good temperature because of the high ceiling. Loved there was a keypad vs a hard key. One less thing to keep track of! read more

Let me just say, PERFECTION. I rented Cottage 12 for a weekend getaway with my boyfriend and it was great. Before we could even get in the cottage, an employee pulled up on a golf cart, very sweet girl, letting us know the hours she would be on the grounds and if we needed anything to call. We walked in to the AC cooling the cottage, the hot tub ready to roll, and a handwritten note from the staff, Welcoming us, with some snacks. We couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Everything was extremely clean and homey. Very easy to find, wireless and cable available. The bed was glorious!! The little VIP baskets for the dogs were super cute and both of the dogs loved the squeaky toys and treats inside! Our time here was enjoyable. I highly recommend staying here! Very cute little cottages, and pet friendly to boot! They have a cute little doggie park. When we arrived, we had treats waiting for us (it was our anniversary-wine, cookies, etc) and our dog even had a VIP treat package for him! A toy he could keep, poop bags, and treats. They thought of everything, from an anniversary card, coffee & creamer, to the pink makeup towel (for you guys out there, that pink towel is so our makeup doesn't stain their white towels when we remove it). I wouldn't say they have a dog park but they do have about 1000 sq ft of fenced area for dogs to go to the bathroom off leash. Not much of a creek so don't expect to fish. Reasonably priced without all of the hidden fees that you find on vbro or whatever that site is named. Wimberley is a cute little shopping area and is just a few minutes away. We enjoyed our stay and our cottage (number 11). Everything was clean and cozy. The view of the creek was pretty and peaceful. We loved the hot tub and walking down to the creek to sit and relax. There were many nice touches around the cabin. There were robes provided which made getting in and out of the hot tub in cool weather much more comfortable. They left us a candle to take as a keepsake. There were make-up towels in the restroom. The kitchen is tiny in this cabin so probably wouldn't plan to cook much if you're in a smaller 2 person cabin. However, this gave us the excuse to eat out. We will come back and stay in a bigger cabin with our kids next time! The size of this cabin was perfect for 2. The cabins are conveniently located super close to downtown Wimberley. There are many cabins to choose from. I know this is a pet friendly establishment too for anyone that has dogs! Ya'll should definitely check this place out if you're looking for a quiet romantic get away or a family trip. read more

While looking for a place that would be appropriate for our wedding party to stay at after our wedding, we came across Cypress Creek Cottages. Gorgeous. Absolutely Gorgeous. The setting (cottages and location) perfectly captured the essence of our Texas wedding. We needed lots of space, so after viewing all of the cottages (and the awesome grounds and creek) - we rented all of them! Each one has been recently updated, creatively decorated, and very welcoming for our out of town guests. The complimentary welcome baskets sealed the deal for us (not to mention the "Safe Travels" first aid kit they put on all our cars before we left!) Literally every one of our guests commented on how nice their cottage was - and they were actually budget friendly. Plus, they just built a really nice common area with a catering kitchen that is great for events - and worked perfectly for us. The owners of Cypress Creek Cottages, Albert, Trish and Jerry, were honestly the most helpful people we came across in Wimberley when it came to planning our wedding weekend there. They offered endless suggestions for our potential vendors and venues, and consistently proved to us that they really cared whether or not we enjoyed our stay. Once we got there, Albert was available at a moment's notice to make sure that we had everything we needed (which was a big deal for us considering we had so many of our guests staying there.) Their flexibility, responsiveness and genuine friendliness really made a fairly chaotic event much easier for us. Very cozy place!! Loved it!! The best part for any dog owner is walking in and seeing they not only accept dogs but WELCOME them with beds, treats, & toys! Plus the fenced in play area is amazing! Our dogs are family and it's hard when everywhere you go or stay makes you feel like it's an inconvenience and this place did the very opposite and my family really appreciated that!! But we enjoyed our stay for many more reasons than that. The humans felt very welcome too... A gift basket and bottle of wine awaited us upon arrival. The cabin was very cute and clean. Stocked with all the necessities. You really felt like you had plenty of privacy. We had perfect weather for sitting on the deck during the day and by the fire-pit or in our private hot tub at night. It was a beautiful area to walk around watching the deer roam. The town is so cute, lots of little shops and restaurants to keep you busy. I absolutely loved my stay at the cottages! I knew I had chosen the right place when I received a hand-written note & some snacks welcoming me. That was a great little bonus. The cottage itself was beautiful & quiant and stocked with everything I could possibly need. After taking a cat nap in the comfy bed, I took a dip in the hot tub which was ready for use right away . I finished my glass of wine on the private patio while lounging in one of the robes they provided. Watching the birds feed from the tree on the same lot as the cottage and listening to the little babbling pond nearby was a quiet moment I never get in the city. I wanted to make use of the reading nook in the bedroom, but I went to dinner then called it a night. My only regret is staying only one night. Next time, I will at least book a two-night stay. Oh, and this place was incredibly affordable. For a cottage that sleeps 5, I only paid $157.00 for a weeknight. What a deal! The cottages were the perfect getaway. My boyfriend and I planned a getaway before I start school again and he began his new job. We stumbled upon Cypress Creek Cottages and we couldn't have been happier. The town of Wimberley is so quaint, we loved it. Our cottage (purple) made us feel like we were completely secluded from the rest. The cottage was beautiful, clean, the owners came by and asked us if we needed extra towels since we were staying for a few days. Our stay was great. The only troubles we came into were that our hot tub would turn off and on when we were in it and we could only shower for about 5 minutes because the water would get cold very fast. Other than that, we loved out stay and wouldn't mind staying again. read more

My husband and I had a great weekend in the Jade Cabin, Cabin 11. Our cabin was not connected to another cabin and had a view of the creek. At one time I think this cabin had creek access but with all the flooding, our access was washed away. We enjoyed time on our private porch in the hot tub and grilling dinner one night. The cabin had a stove with 4 burners, an oven and a mini fridge. The staff was very nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend this property! Next time we would want a different cabin because we would want creek access and the plumbing was a little temperamental. The first night the toilet ran; but someone immediately came out and replaced a part. But then the rest of our stay it still gurgled and made me a little nervous. We were celebrating our anniversary, and when we arrived we had a card and a nice basket of goodies and bottle of wine. Then on our last day we woke up to a gift on our car. A very nice package from the staff. This property definitely pays attention to the small details and we will be back! P.S.
