What is the minimum age for enrollment?

Do you take USCG Childcare Fee Assistant Program? Will you be interested to becoming one of their provider.

We are a provider for the CHS, Crystal Stairs and OCDE programs but not the USCG program at this time. However, we will definitely look into it and see if we can become a provider in the near future.

I attending this school when I was a young child for at least 1 year. In that time I saw countless acts of physical abuse by the teachers here. And based on the pictures I've looked at, at least some of these exact teachers are still working there. I'm sure if I get any responses to this it'll either be denials or calling me a liar, but I swear on my life this is all 100% true. I recall these rods (I believe they were wooden) that were used for counting. The rods alternated in sections of red and blue for easy counting and were all different sizes for different numbers. I witnessed one particular fellow student get spanked aka beat with one of these rods NUMEROUS times. On occasion he would be taken into the other room where all the older students were taught and they'd beat him in there. We could hear his screaming. The worst, though, was there was a little girl (possibly Indian, but I don't want to get that wrong) that would bring the same exact thing for lunch everyday: a cheese sandwich on white bread cut into four equal pieces. I quickly learned to never sit at the same table as her for lunch because one of the teachers in particular would get angry with her every single day because she was eating too slowly, so she'd pick up a piece of the sandwich and would literally SHOVE it down this child's throat, causing her to vomit all over the table. This went on every damn day. And I'll will be honest that I was never really a victim of their abuse. The worst I ever got was them having me hold my hands out flat in front of me while they whacked my hands with a ruler. That only happened once to me. Years and years ago I told a friend all about this who then had me tell her mom the whole story too. Her mom was floored and actually considered trying to do some kind of undercover sting operation at this place. Sadly it never happened. And you're probably wondering why I never went to the authorities with this. Well, for one I was a scared little kid at the time. And two, after all these years, I have no proof other than my very vivid memories. My mom though this place was a great school too until I told her what went on there years later. For all I know this type of behavior could have stopped. But seeing that the exact same people teach there from when I was a kid makes me doubtful. I would also like to clarify that the teacher that worked in the separate room with the older students I don't think abused them. At least not as far as I'm aware. I believe all three teachers were sisters and I only ever saw and heard the two that worked with us younger kids committing any acts of abuse. I was a child then and I'm 35 years old now, but I know what I heard and saw and experienced at this place. I'm sure many will think I'm a liar or won't believe me. But I'm just a former student that's been hoping this place would be exposed over the past few decades. EDIT: I went to this school sometime around 1990. Maybe it was just because of the time that it wasn't frowned upon to use corporal punishment like that, but I stand by every word I previously said. Not every kid in my class got it bad (myself included), but there were at least a couple I can vividly remember being singled out and "abused" (by today's standards). I'd also like to state I'm only writing this because my previous review is trying to be silenced.

I have experienced their toddler and early childhood program. I have seen my kids flourish under the teacher's guidance, patience, love, and humor(!), as well as surrounded by other students who are being taught how to be independent and kind to each other. I especially love the mixed aged classroom where older kids are taught to be patient and caring with the younger kids. I'm so glad I discovered greenhouse for my kids. Thank you teachers for all you do!! My kids Love going to school. In particular it's their teachers that are exceptionally awesome and caring. I hope the administrators do what they can to keep and retain them. The teachers are the lifeblood of this school and why parents recommend others to come.

When we did the initial walk through at MGH, we informed Michelle of my son's frustration and…read morebehavior issues and asked her how they would address this at school, she confidently told me she would take him outside to diffuse him. We also had numerous formal and informal meetings with Christine and Karinna, who always said they wanted to work with us. We were told we had to get outside help from a doctor, and when we told them it would take a while to see results (per the psychologist), they reiterated they were willing to help. After being called to be picked up after an hour of class on his 4th full day of school, I spoke with Christine and she told me what happened. I also called the director, Heather, to discuss our options. Christine didn't mention anything about Simon not being allowed to attend school anymore without extra help provided by his family, nor did Heather. On Tuesday morning, I sent Heather an email with tips of how to diffuse my son, thinking the teachers could use it as a guideline in helping to steer him in the right direction. Twenty minutes prior to school starting, she called to tell me that it wasn't possible for my son to get any more one on one from the teachers and since our nanny couldn't be at the school until 10am, the staff felt they weren't safe with my son in class without the help. Why Heather didn't call me Monday or even earlier Tuesday morning to let me know he was not able to attend that day still baffles me. Heather said she was waiting to talk to me at the site, but that would have only resulted in her turning us away as I had my daughter with me that morning and wouldn't have been able to stay to help.  I got my so ready that morning, we packed his lunch together, and I gave him the pep talk about Karinna not being in class, but got him excited for music class that day. If I wouldn't have sent that email, Heather wouldn't have called at all and we would have arrived at the school only for her to have told us the news in front of my son. How do you think he would have felt about that? I'm surprised that the director of a place that regards itself as fostering confidence in young children would reject a child to their face. The website states, "studies prove that the relationship between a caretaker and a child is more secure when it's longer. It supports the social and emotional development of a child. Whereas, frequent change in approach or caretakers can cause suffering and early depression in children." Heather and her staff gave my son one full day the first week and three full days the second week, calling us to pick him up on what would have been his fifth day at MGH.  If the email I had sent Tuesday morning were suggestions from an actual psychologist, would they have called to tell me you couldn't give him one on one attention to implement the strategies from a doctor? The meeting on Friday with the teachers suggested otherwise, as we were told they were ready to work with whatever care we found once an assessment was made. Christine informed me that she would have to call to have my son picked up from school if the kids felt unsafe. According to her, this happened for the first time on Monday even though he was called to be picked up three prior days of school. No one informed me he wouldn't be able to return without my nanny or a parent in the classroom after this one incident of him kicking in the direction of a child. I was under the impression that we would have to come get him if it happened again, but not that he couldn't return. The first I heard of this was twenty minutes before the start of class on Tuesday. I was caught of guard and it was very unprofessional. I am so glad this did not end up happening in front of my four year old son, as the director originally intended. I understand my so was not easy and required a lot of one on one. He has never been in anything full time all day. He has never been in a Montessori setting. I believe he was not given a fair chance to succeed. He was not even given an entire week. The MHG program is more geared toward families with Montessori backgrounds, with kids that are ready to do their work without much assistance. This should have been conveyed to us before we signed on, as we were open about his past behavior and experience. I hope in the future you are up front with parents regarding any children that may have special needs or behavioral problems.

My daughter she's 3 year old she's being assets at the Artesia preschool development center and got her iep. She has been working with harbor regional center. She didn't qualify for the school so instead she's being put on the waiting list at the state preschool. At that time I was looking around to see what's best for her since she needs extra help in everything. She's delayed in a lot of things especially in speech wise. I found Lakewood Montessori had a tour with miss Jazmin at first she's good then she got offended that I texted too much about my daughter concern. She sent pictures to me which I like about my daughter doing. I reply back and said she knows how. :) she keep saying I text to much. Then my daughter kept getting sick so I inform them. Then she complain I text too much and worry too much. (Well no shit she's my child and she got Covid) Then last week she texted my husband because he came to the school with me to pick my daughter up. She then talk shit to my husband and said I need to stop worry and concern. Well of course my daughter has a delay learning and doesn't know how to feed herself and do a lot of things herself. You're a professional teacher but not professional enough to teach kids that need the extra help. She told me use the pictures I sent to see if my daughter knows the name of her friends. Well I did that she don't know the names of her friends. They're very expensive potty training I paid $150 and they're not doing anything at all. The school itself cost around $1100. Plus material fees and pizza party. Omg they even charge for pizza LOLOL I don't think I will be taking my daughter here anymore as you can see. Is already drama miss Jazmin causing drama to my family while my husband is busy working and she act like he cares. At a public school if the parents is concerned about their child education the teachers are more professional when a parent is asking question. This school is not professional enough every time I asked both Ms Jazmin and Ms erash they tell me not to worry and my daughter is fine. I also asked them what she learn today because my daughter is still speech delay. They don't tell me. Save the trouble if you want better education and teacher for your child, especially kids that need more help this school is not it. Parents can't even ask questions they get annoyed. public school abc school district is totally different. Edit: thank you for giving the refund back to us but my review still stands because this school is not specialized enough to kids who needs the special help. They might have over 25 years of experienced but not experienced enough in other criteria. Thank you for teaching my daughter for about one month she did learn a lot until I wanted to see how's she doing everyday. My parents when I was in school, they also asked the teachers how her child was doing. It's normal to ask and concern. And this school does not potty train they will charge $150 but they won't potty trained your kids.

After a lot of research, we chose Prodigy Montessori Cypress, and it has been one of the best decisions we've made. Our twins started when they were just 18 months old, and it's been amazing watching them grow over the past few years. One thing that immediately stood out was how welcoming everyone was. Ms. Priya and the teachers took the time to get to know both of our kids individually instead of treating them as "the twins." They quickly learned what each child enjoyed, where they needed encouragement, and how to help them build confidence. As a parent, that meant a lot. Before enrolling, we read the reviews online, including some of the negative ones, so we were naturally a little cautious. Thankfully, our experience has been completely different. We've always found Ms. Priya to be approachable, responsive, and genuinely invested in the children and their families. The teachers have always been warm, patient, and easy to talk to, and communication has been consistent whenever we've had questions. What really gives us confidence is seeing how excited our kids are to go to school every morning. They come home talking about their friends, the activities they did, songs they learned, and little things that make us smile. Over time we've watched them become more independent, more confident, and much more social. We also appreciate that the classrooms are clean, organized, and calm. You can tell the teachers put a lot of thought into creating an environment where children can learn while still enjoying being kids. If you're reading reviews because you're trying to decide where to send your child, I completely understand--we did the exact same thing. From our family's experience, Prodigy Montessori Cypress has been a caring, nurturing place where our children have truly flourished. We're incredibly thankful to Ms. Priya and the entire Prodigy Montessori team for everything they've done for our family, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the school to other parents.

Over those three and a half years, we got to watch our little 2-year-old grow into such a confident, curious, independent, and well-rounded child. The transformation has honestly been amazing to watch. We could see him learning and changing all the time--not just with schoolwork, but in the way he communicated, interacted with other kids, handled things on his own, and gained confidence. One thing that really stood out to us was his foundation in math. He developed a strong understanding of numbers and basic math concepts at a very young age. He was already able to do multiplication, which really surprised us. More importantly, he wasn't just memorizing answers. He understood what he was doing and became comfortable working through problems himself. Now that he is in public school, we are seeing how much those years at Prodigy have helped him. His teachers have been genuinely surprised by how advanced and prepared he is, especially with math. They have also commented on how independently he works, how comfortable he is participating in class, and how well he interacts with his classmates. As parents, hearing those things makes us very proud and also makes us realize how much Prodigy contributed to his foundation. We also want to give a special thank you to Ms. Priya, the director. She has made such a positive difference at the school. One of the things we appreciated most was how much importance she places on the children's safety and well-being. As parents, knowing that your child is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for means everything. Ms. Priya is also very approachable. Whenever we had a question, she was always willing to talk with us and listen. You can tell that she genuinely cares about the children and wants the best for them. As Chinese parents, education is very important to our family, but we also wanted our son to grow into someone who is confident, independent, respectful, curious, and able to get along with others. Looking back at his years at Prodigy, we feel that he really developed in all of these areas. It's hard to put three and a half years into one review, but when we think about the little boy who started at Prodigy at age 2 and see who he is today, we are incredibly happy with the growth we've seen. We are very thankful to all the teachers and staff, and especially to Ms. Priya, for the care, dedication, and leadership she has brought to the school. We have had a genuinely wonderful experience at Prodigy Montessori and would absolutely recommend it to other parents. We couldn't be happier with the foundation our son received there and how well it has prepared him for public school and the years ahead.
