Great park. Closes late. I mostly go to this park because it is well lit and has a pickle ball area, soccer fields. Across the street there is a basket ball court.

This is one of the bigger parks in Coral Springs. It is right on coral Springs Drive off of Ramblewood Drive. It features tennis courts, football field, basketball court, and whatever sport you can imagine short of a pool. There is a children's playground as well. It has a nice pond. Are usually walk around it a couple of times and that gives me a couple of miles worth of walk. It is very peaceful even though there is a lot of traffic going by. This is a very nice park worth visiting

I came here to get some exercise on a Sunday evening. The park was filled with many athletic teams playing on the 5 baseball fields, four soccer fields, and basketball courts. There is also a playground and a one mile exercise pathway with exercise station. The park has a canal running through out and a lake that was filled with ducks, Egyptian Geese, and other wading birds. A pretty bridge crossed over the canal. Other amenities include 4 clean bathrooms and water fountains. I really enjoyed my visit to the park. The only downside was the cars were backed up in traffic at the entrance and exit. It just required a little patience and it was well worth it to enjoy such a beautiful outdoor space.

I know I wrote a review a few years ago, but here we go again. Whatever I can say won't do it justice, but my family and I have been going to this park for 15 years. They have baseball & soccer fields, a couple of basketball courts, walking and bike trails with exercise stations, a kids' playground that was renovated with new playground equipment several years ago, clean bathrooms in different areas of the park (except near the kids' playground), well lighted areas and ample parking. They also have a couple of duck ponds and picnic tables. I took my grandson today and they were celebrating a child's birthday party. My daughter calls this the "purple" park since she was little. The slides are purple and they have a set for the older kids and one for the toddlers on the opposite side. The park is located in a very quiet, safe neighborhood accessible through Coral Springs Drive (Pine Island).

So glad some friends told us about this place awhile back when we were talking about places to take the grandkids in the future. But even if you're just a kid at heart, You may want to visit here. Wear your bathing suit. It's easy to find. And there's ample free parking out front. Mid week when we stopped by it wasn't very busy. But if I had kids, I'd be here every weekend -- especially in our recent hot weather. First and foremost is the interactive water/splash pad. So many machines spraying water, buckets dumping, etc etc. The three kids there were squealing with joy and excitement. Such fun. There's also a story walk/trail for children with various stops plus a regular walking trail. A covered playground with equipment for kids. A Volleyball sand court; basketball court; grills; picnic areas... all with a large swath of green grass in the middle -- perfect for events/concerts. On the south end is the canal C-14 with a fishing pier. More "waters edge" as in the name. And also for adults, there's a covered area right near the water with all sorts of gym/exercise equipment. Don't know what more you could want except maybe a few more resting benches along the main trail for the older folks... Go check it out. Bring the kids.

Even on busier days it's not packed and easy to run. There is adequate parking, exercise stations at the beginning and picnic tables. I run here often at all times of the day and have never had a problem; but, lighting could be better in the back of the park. There are a few areas (near the canal and the turn near the trees) that are a little dark so I usually avoid them if running at night and stay towards the front of the park.

I find it kind of ironic that they named a park after him with a jogging trail which was the thing that killed him but there you go. Mr. Diaz was a proponent of keeping development in check and fostering a sense of community in Coral Springs. This is a great neighborhood park if you are looking to get exercise. It doesn't have a kids playground like traditional neighborhood parks. Instead it has an outdoor gym area and the one mile aforementioned gravel walking/ jogging path. It folds in on itself as you go around. My favorite part of the path is the part that runs parallel to a canal in the back. I saw turtles, ducks and a egret back there. I had a lovely stroll there on a Saturday afternoon. It's a great place to get the body moving and to clear your mind in the fresh air.
