Love the fact that they have emergency stations all around with AED machines and around the lake with rescue flotation devices. Definitely was built with a child safety mindset as many kids playing sports at the park etc. Park is clean and well maintained all around. Parking is a plenty but can get packed and busy with local sports in play.

Excellent park offers baseball and soccer fields as well as tennis and basketball courts all very well kept. Bathrooms are clean and safe. There are also playgrounds and climbing areas for the kids and gazebos to celebrate birthdays. Classic family oriented Coral Springs vibe. Plenty of green areas and there are nice lake areas. Safety is always first in Coral Springs, you can find life vest stations all around the lake areas and AED and CPR stations with photo instructions complete with solar panel. Easy, plenty and convenient parking.

It's got a walking trail around the park and it does have shade canopies. There are a few benches and there are also 2 tables. My kids instantly ran over to the zip line, which is pretty popular with all the kids - everyone formed a line and took turns. They have a couple of kiddie slides, and a few saucer swings, but no regular swings. They do have a little "hill" that the kids loved to run up and down, and a couple of rope carousels, and net climbers.

The new City of Sunrise Veterans Park honors the U.S. Military with an elevated memorial monument. The parking lot has designated spaces reserved exclusively for combat-wounded veterans. Next to the memorial is a labyrinth, an ancient symbol that relates to wholeness combining the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have a long history as meditation and prayer tools in memorials. Veterans Park also has paved walkways, a remembrance pavilion, picnic tables, benches, a restroom, and a boundless playground with a zip line, netted spinner, net and slide climber, spinning spinner, swings, rope pyramid climber, embankment slide and rope climber. The grand opening of the park will take place on Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9 am to 12 pm with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 am followed by a free BBQ lunch. The first 200 attendees will receive a commemorative coin and T-shirt. Parking for the event will be available at the Faith Center, located at 5555 NW 95th Avenue. It was named in honor of Pompano Beach Commissioner George Brummer who was elected in June of 2003. He was the successor to his friend, the late Vice Mayor Herb Skolnick, who served three decades. Brummer was well known and liked in Palm Aire where he served as President of the Civic Association. He was the one to suggest the creation of a park for Palm Aire. At the opening of the park George Brummer was praised for his leadership in both business and community issues and he was recognized as a champion for the Palm Aire community. At the dedication Brummer said he wanted people to use and enjoy the park. George Brummer Park was designed to appeal to all ages from youth to seniors. Park amenities include six popular pickle ball courts, restrooms, large shade covered playground, benches, tennis courts, basketball court, bocce ball, handball, and outdoor exercise equipment. While I was visiting there was a children's birthday party and people were playing basketball. I was actually kind of surprised at how many people were using the park given the heat index. A lot of the people in Palm Aire live in multi story condo units and this is the only outdoor recreation area they have. Fortunately the park is beautifully landscaped and well maintained. The City of Pompano did a great job exceeding Brummer's vision for a recreational area that the residents of Palm Aire can enjoy for years to come.

It is popular for its winding roads, numerous cul-de-sacs, and water front views. There are 1,000 single family homes built between 1985 and 1995 and sixty five percent of the homes have a lake view. It is very family friendly community. . Jacaranda Lakes Park amenities include 2 shaded playgrounds, one tennis court, a half basketball court, a community pickleball court, picnic table, open play space, and restroom facilities which are open during daylight hours. All of the large old shade trees add to the natural beauty of this picturesque park. There is even a small hill that kids were enjoying riding their bikes down. My favorite part of the park is the half mile jogging course with exercise stations. The path winds around the back of the park between the canals. It's a great place to exercise and bird watch. In addition to the ducks and wading birds near the water the open grassy area had burrowing owls. I only saw one little guy peeking out of his burrow but a lady exercising told me that she sees them out every morning. Burrowing owls are considered endangered, threatened or of special concern in nine U.S. states. Unlike other owls, they are not strictly nocturnal and are active during the day. They make their nests in underground burrows, which are dug out by ground squirrels and they prefer open grasslands. They are pretty timid and will usually pop back into their burrows if you approach. It was so cool to catch site of one. He definitely picked a home with a beautiful view.

This park has many great features and has recently been renovated by the City Of Plantation and our HOA. The park has a private parking lot with 1 handicapped space. There is a covered pavillion with a men and women bathroom which is normally open from sunrise to sunset. There is a single tennis court and a shared Pickleball/Basketball court. There are benches for spectators and a fence which is locked overnight. The kids playground is pretty big and serves many ages. There is plenty of open grassy spaces with some hills for kids to run up and down and a large flat space to play a pick up game of soccer or football. There is a gravel path which winds behind some houses along the lake. The path has some exercise benches and apparatuses for an outdoor workout. This park is very pretty because there are so many trees to sit under and enjoy the fresh air.

We soon found George Snow Park on Google Maps, and would never have known it was tucked away off of Glades had we not specifically been searching for playgrounds. But what an ADORABLE park this is! We stopped here around 10 am or so on a Saturday morning, and it was initially just us and one other mom and her kid. We headed straight for the swings (my son's favorite), and then afterward let him have free reign to explore what he wanted. He loved the setup with all of the spinny toys and bells! As we stayed longer, more and more families started showing up, but it didn't ever feel too crowded while we were there. We loved how shaded the playground area was -- the weather was still slightly cooler then, but I know that shade is all the more appreciated in the summer. He was still a little too small for the bigger playground sets (he hadn't quite figured out stairs at that point), but now that he's grown a bit, I will absolutely bring him back here on our next trip to South Florida so he can explore further and go on the slides! I have yet to find a playground in Tampa as nice as this one!

Even on busier days it's not packed and easy to run. There is adequate parking, exercise stations at the beginning and picnic tables. I run here often at all times of the day and have never had a problem; but, lighting could be better in the back of the park. There are a few areas (near the canal and the turn near the trees) that are a little dark so I usually avoid them if running at night and stay towards the front of the park.

They have water stations throughout both areas as well. My dogs love coming here and every patron is respectful by picking up after their pets.
