Very late on leaving a response lol We got married on 09/29/23, we used the Cypress Ridge Pavilion for our wedding venue, and we were in awe!! My husband and I came from out of town, which is Ventura, CA. Yes it was far but we don't regret it at all! We were trying to find a venue within our budget and we came here. We met up with Jodi, she was very nice & was so helpful with everything. Communication wise was 10/10, she would respond to our emails quick, and her responses were always so helpful. The price was fair for us and we were able to bring in our own vendors at no extra cost, pretty awesome. We used the outdoor part of the pavilion and it was to die for! The venue itself was amazing & BEAUTIFUL!! Our dream wedding came out better than we expected! Till this day, our family and friends that came to our wedding, can't stop talking about how amazing the venue was and how the set up was. I would definitely recommend coming here for any event! There are not enough words to explain how wonderful this place is. We had the absolute pleasure of celebrating our wedding at this beautiful event space in July. The highlight is the incredible team who goes above and beyond to make things happen - Jodi, the venue manager, is the most attentive and caring person who really took the time to answer my questions and make the day go off without a hitch. John was so diligent and kind - he was setting up all the tables, linens, heaters, chairs, etc. and still came over to help me with anything I needed. The grounds are clean, manicured, and beautiful thanks to Ryan and the team.The bartenders, Sally + Thomas, hustled the entire night to appease our thirsty guests and were so amazing the whole time. The venue itself is stunning - from the ceremony lawn overlooking the pond to the large windows inside the pavilion itself, there is not a bad angle for a photo. We spent the morning getting ready in the bridal suite and had plenty of room to have 5 hair/makeup staff, 6 bridesmaids, 2 moms, and an anxious bride - highly recommend using that space! There is a full kitchen, large bathrooms, and a great bar space. The venue also has tables, chairs, linens, glasses, heaters, umbrellas, etc. to rent - it made the day so much easier to plan. It truly has everything you would need to keep yourself, your vendors, and guests happy! We cannot recommend Cypress Pavilion to enough people. It will always be one of our most cherished grounds and hope that others get to enjoy it too! read more

We had our wedding there 08/17/14 and it was the most amazing day I could have imagined. Jodi and Bryan really helped make everything we wanted happen. Jodi was always so easy to get a hold of and she had all the answers to our problems. From planning 6 months ago to the big day they where all so willing to help us. They gave us suggestions on vendors, and offered decorating ideas. Jodi connected us with the right people to get a chandelier and fabric for our big day and even helped us figure out how to mount it all. She met with us a couple times the week of to make sure we knew what was going to happen and did an amazing job guiding a walk through with us the day before. The morning of the wedding we arrived at 10am to see the chef picking fresh rosemary for the dinner that night and Jodi directing people how to set stuff up etc. I had a meltdown and she was there to help, we needed anything she was there all day and night she was just the best onsite coordinator we could have asked for. I loved the venue and all of the staff that worked the event. Everyone was so professional and nice. We really loved the chef as she met with us several times to perfect our meal to our preferences. We had olives on the tables with bread while everyone was getting seated. A plated salad which was out of this world was then served and finally we had a buffet style dinner. The dinner had the most amazing fresh vegetables (the asparagus was perfect not mushy at all as most buffets tend to have mushy veggies) an amazing vegetarian option that guest where raving over, sweet potatoes and my favorite part the prime rib! I loved how the chef cut the prime rib to order and it was so juicy and delicious. All of our vendors did a great job and raved over how well the whole day had gone.At the nights end they did the cleanup and we went off to our honeymoon. This is an amazing venue to have a wedding in the Arroyo Grande area. Aubrey the Coordinator for the Pavilion was not only professional, but also impressive to work with. She made sure everything was taken care of for our wedding, was very knowledgeable about the venue and suggested an amazing photobooth vendor for our "Big Day". They were flexible and very easy to work with/contact. The venue has an outdoor/indoor set up which was perfect because our guest enjoyed their meals outside and enjoyed festivities inside! Pros: The price is very competitive and included a wedding coordinator (who did an AMAZING job!!!), Delicious food (we still get compliments on how awesome the food was) our buffet included passed appetizers, four sides, two meats, lemonade and iced tea for all (we also had an open wine/beer bar), cake service, ceremony site, reception site, a huge bridal party changing area, linens, china, silverware, glasses, tables, chairs, and outdoor heaters. We also were given use of four golf carts to ride around and take some fun pictures with. Con: The pavilion is BEAUTIFUL, but almost hidden, guests could potentially get lost (we had a few guest lose their way) I suggest lots of maps (visually, listed, and GPS systems ) All in all- perfect wedding, perfect day, perfect venue! My wife and I got married here on 10/28/2017. We selected the venue in November 2016. We saw some other venues, but once we came here, we knew we wanted to get married here. Jodi Sailors was our main contact, and our day-of coordinator. She's the best! If you're getting married, I don't have to tell you how stressful wedding planning can be. Plus, we live in Orange County, so it was crucial to have a venue contact who communicated with us during the entire process. Jodi was more than we could have hoped for. During the entire process, she promptly addressed our concerns, and brought up potential issues to our attention with plenty of time to resolve them. We couldn't ask for more from Jodi! The food was also prepared by Chef Rochelle, who works at the venue. We did our tasting and were impressed at how delicious everything tasted. For our main course, we choose a plated BBQ tri-tip and chicken with warm pasta salad. We got multiple compliments from our guest about the food, and some even said that it was the best food they've EVER had at a wedding. The serving staff at the reception was great. Most importantly, they made sure that they made sure we ATE at our own wedding, and whenever we needed a drink, they were there to fill our glass. The venue itself is beautiful, but you can see that from the pictures. I'm here to tell you that everything else Cypress Ridge is awesome as well. For me, the most important thing about a wedding is to make sure that your guests have a good time, if for no other reason that you and your spouse are spending so much time and money on it. I just had my wedding at this venue on 06/01/2013. It was amazing! Bryan and Jodi did an awesome job. They worked together with my wedding planner to make sure everything was perfect for my big day. They were super flexible with letting us come in for rehaersal and letting us drop stuff off early at the site. They let my wedding planner come first thing in the morning to start setting up. Bryan even jumped behind the bar for the reception. He is a man of all trades. My only complaint is that when we first started working with the venue they had recently changed management. So some stuff was unclear and sometimes they would take a while to get back to my wedding planner via e-mail. But they did always eventually get back and answered all of our questions. There was also a little confusion with the garlic bread at dinner. I thought it came with all meals but they didn't have it listed on my final contract so we didn't end up getting it. But that was it, all the food was amazing besides that! I feel like they were honestly there just to make sure I had a great day. They never tried to up sell me and they even made helpful suggestions that saved us money. We had a big wedding so as the RSVP's kept coming in they suggested we change from plated to family style for dinner. This would save me $2 a person and run a lot smoother and faster. We decided to try it and everyone loved it. They even brought more trays of food out for people who wanted seconds. Overall I think it was a great venue. We had the cermony in the grass behind the bar. On the patio we had the cake table and dinner tables. In the lawn we had more tables and lawn games. We had a smores' bar set up by the fire pit. (They provided someone to watch the fire all night!). We had dancing, cokctails tables, and a photobooth inside. And the venue is gorgeous which makes for great pictures! read more

Cypress Ridge Pavilion far exceeded our expectations of a dream venue. We were so ecstatic that we came across this venue during our venue search. From the moment we visited the venue, we knew that it was the place we wanted to get married. We visited the venue on a Saturday afternoon right before a wedding. The atmosphere was so calm and serene that we was surprised to find that there was a wedding happening that day! That's when we knew it was the venue for us. Jodi, the venue coordinator, was amazing to work with through the whole process. She was so accommodating and such a joy to work with. Jodi truly helped us make our vision come true and we trusted her that everything would run as smoothly as it did! She helped us process all our thoughts and visions and everything turned out perfectly. The food was phenomenal. We scheduled a tasting before the wedding and were accommodated to our own sit down tasting. We were able to pick and choose what we wanted and weren't limited to any decisions. Post wedding all our guests said it was the best wedding food they had. Not only is it a beautiful venue, but all the staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. I cannot say enough good things about Cypress Ridge Pavilion. My husband and I got married here last June and it was just perfect! When we were hunting for a venue we wanted something that felt inviting, cozy, magical but also big enough to hold our large wedding and this place nailed it! Cypress Ridge is in a gorgeous area, with a fantastic wedding ceremony lawn on a lake. We fell in love with the venue the moment we walked in. Jodi was probably the main reason we even decided on Cypress Ridge. Throughout our wedding planning process, Jodi worked closely with us on every detail, and we had a lot of details! From helping get the decorations set, to hooking us up with an amazing florist to even keeping me calm before walking down the isle - Jodi rocked it! She was with us every step of the way and I always felt supported. The food is also just amazing! My mom and I worked closely with Rochelle on every detail of the menu, due to some food allergies, and she was super accommodating. I am still getting rave reviews about the food! Also, we had s'mores set up at the fire pit in the evening and that was a huge hit with our guests. In terms of the venue itself, we had dinner outside on the lawn and moved our guests inside for dancing. There was enough space for everyone, but it still felt cozy and intimate. In the evening, there are hanging lights outside that really make it quite stunning and make for a very warm ambiance. If you're on the fence, don't be. Cypress Ridge Pavilion is not only a beautiful place to get married, but the team who works there makes it magical! read more

During our venue search, we decided to tour Cypress Ridge while we were visiting the Central Coast one weekend. The venue was spacious enough for our guest list of 175, and it was well-kept and gorgeous -- the pond was definitely swoon-worthy! Jodi was very accommodating and helpful for the tour, and we eventually decided to get married there! The months following that tour were spent getting to know Jodi over email for the most part. She was prompt, professional, and very courteous in all correspondence -- which I really appreciate as a project manager! Working through the contract and making payments through their website was also pleasantly easy. Although we unfortunately had to cancel our plans to get married at Cypress Ridge due to COVID-19, we enjoyed our time working with Jodi and wanted to leave a note of gratitude here. Jodi and her team were extremely understanding and flexible as we navigated our changing plans. I am so happy that I choose Cypress Ridge Pavilion for our wedding! This location is beautiful and has indoor and outdoor options for the wedding ceremony. The reception area was a perfect size for our group of 116. It would also work well for larger and smaller groups. We opted to have a firepit going for our reception that took a few people away from the dance floor to make s'more but got great feedback. Jodi was a joy to work with. She took all my stress away on the big day and everything fell nicely into place. If anything was amiss- you could have fooled me! I highly recommend Cypress to a bride that wants a venue that offers everything in one place. It can get pricey with add ons but you can scale down to fit a smaller budget. My wife and I had our wedding on May 31st, 2014 and it was absolutely perfect. Jodi and Bryan were always immediate in their responses and provided everything we asked for on the day of. Jodi's flexibility schedule-wise allowed us to visit several times prior to the wedding in order to measure the layout and ask pertinent questions. We ordered the tri-tip and chicken, and had garlic bread, beans, pasta salad, regular salad, and the sausage appetizers as well. All of the food was amazing both in taste and in affordability. Linens and set-up were provided by the facility. The lighting provided by Cypress Ridge was great as well. We didn't have the need to spend more to get additional lighting. Heat lamps were provided as well at night. The ambiance was perfect and you get to utilize the indoor and outdoor area. Cypress Ridge provided us with an amazing once-in-a-lifetime experience that both of us will remember for the rest of our lives. This venue is the best bang for your buck! Not to mention, it is breathtakingly beautiful! We are pretty young and didn't have a huge budget for our wedding. We wanted something pretty, but affordable. Cypress Ridge was a dream come true. We didn't even really have to decorate on the day of the wedding because it is already so beautiful on its own! We rented the venue for our ceremony and reception and we got so much more than just that. They provide a wedding coordinator for you to work with leading up to your wedding day as well as on your wedding day, they provide the most delicious food with servers, drinks with bartenders, a bridal suite to get ready in the morning of the wedding (can also be used to store decorations and other things before and during the wedding), they set up and tear dow the ceremony and reception for you (hallelujah!) You literally don't have to think about anything, they take care of it all. We toured a few other venues before finding this one. As soon as we stepped out of the car, we knew this was our venue. It is SO beautiful. It is SO affordable. They make your wedding day SO easy. Literally no complaints. Jodi, the wedding coordinator, is super helpful and responsive. We loved working with her and she really made sure everything came together perfectly for our big day. We set up a monthly payment plan with Jodi, so by the time our wedding arrived, it was already all paid off! That felt great! Our guests couldn't stop telling us how beautiful the venue was. The DJ said it was the best wedding he has DJ'd for in a long time. So many of our guests said it was the best wedding they've ever been to. Everything was so perfect. I can't stop myself from smiling ear to ear when I think about our wedding day. It doesn't matter what kind of bride you are, if you've been dreaming of your wedding day since you were 5 or if you could care less about having a wedding, your expectations WILL be exceeding and you and your guests WILL have the best day ever! We had our wedding there on 06/03/17 and it was an amazing day!! Cypress Ridge Pavilion was our ceremony and reception site. This venue was absolutely beautiful and they generously worked within our budget, which wasn't a ton. When my husband and I came across this venue we knew it was the one! We were so excited that they worked with us to make it work. The only thing I can say is double check your menu with them. We had made a change to the menu and it did not happen on our wedding day. They didn't put in the menu change and they left out the item we substituted all together. The food that they did serve was delicious. Also make sure to make arrangements to have your decor picked up that night. We were told we could leave all the decor in the brides changing room overnight, however at the end of our wedding it was sprung on us that we had to have everything out right then. Since we didn't plan for that it was a scramble and a few things were lost and damaged but nothing major. Other then those things everything was perfect and we had an amazing wedding. We looked at a lot of venues but the moment we drove into Cypress Ridge we just KNEW it was it. The scenery was absolutely beautiful and calming! Our big day was everything and more! Cypress Ridge Pavilion is amazing and beautiful. We only had our reception there because we got married at the dinosaur caves park and then drove over there after. Everything about it was magical. I loved the open space, the pond with the lily pads, and the dance floor. My husband and I had a pretty cool first dance, so it was nice that everyone got to witness it with all of the space in the room. The food was amazing and it was nice to have our own little sweetheart table above the tables outside. I like that you get a choice of how you can either have the tables set up inside or outside. We took photos everywhere. By the pond on the little dock, at the golf course, we got to ride a golf cart over there, and near pretty trees and other lake areas. It was a really amazing place. Jodi is so kind and really helps set the mood for a cheerful and good day! She was great with responding to emails as well. She did an awesome job and always wanted to make sure I was doing well. We only looked at two venues before this one and we knew this was the one. Everything turned out great and many people told us it was the best wedding they have been to. It is very nice that they have in house catering and they do the tables, linens, chairs, umbrellas, heat lamps, etc... This is a pretty location but it is hard to find for guests not familiar with the area. Also, we originally booked with them because Aubrey the onsite coordinator was so amazing. However she went out on maternity leave shortly after and we were stuck working with Melissa. She is not warm or friendly. She had very poor follow up and her day of coordination was terrible. If I hadnt been so organized and practically doing her job for her things would have definitely fallen threw the cracks. Caution, she may be the only coordinator there now so good luck. In terms of food, it was good. However they do not offer a complimentary tasting and their wine selection is terrible. Regarding the grounds, on the day the carpet hadnt been vaccumed and there were aome duck droppings on the lawn and I had to ASK Melissa to have someone clean it up. Frankly they were awful to work with and are just lucky that their grounds are pretty. They charge anywhere from 3000 to 5000 dollars for their venue fee and after using them I think I could have found something better. Our other vendors were awesome. Our DJ Scott Muir was amazing and ran thd entire event while Melissa did nothing. Our Photographer Amanda Klein was nothing short of spectacular. I strongly recommend both. In short, Cypress is pretty but there are a lot of hidden flaws in their service. I strongly recommend another venue if Melissa is,the only coordinator they have on staff to work with. So this is a really confusing story, but suffice to say I tried to visit this venue as a possibility for my wedding and it turned out to be a GIANT waste of time due to the incompetence of the site coordinator. I'll admit that I contacted her very last minute to see the venue for the upcoming weekend (I emailed Thursday night to try to see the Pavilion on Saturday). I asked if the short notice was going to be a problem, could we please set up a date and time for another Saturday (at this point Saturday was mentioned twice in the email). Here's where it got confusing. The woman emailed me Friday morning (like a little after midnight Thursday night) asking me if I could come in "tomorrow" at 11:30am. I agreed thinking when she said "tomorrow" she meant Saturday since that's the day I asked to come. I even wrote "see you tomorrow" in my confirmation email on Friday. My fiance and I drive 2 1/2 hours to Arroyo Grande Saturday morning to see the Pavilion and nobody is there. I try calling and emailing with no luck and after waiting around for 30 minutes we ended up turning around and going back home. I assumed she wanted me to come Friday instead of Saturday, but the timing of her email from Friday at midnight threw me off. Come Sunday morning I get two missed calls and voicemails from the missing coordinator. The first states that she had our appointment scheduled for Saturday, and even quoted my email from Friday stating that I would "see her tomorrow." The second voicemail 15 minutes later then insisted that she thought our meeting was Friday and she was waiting around until 12:30 for me. WTH?!? I can make peace with her thinking the meeting was Friday and there was just miscommunication. But trying to cover her ass with contradicting voicemails is too much. I know my story is confusing as hell, trust me I'm confused as to what she was thinking too. If she can't even get it together to coordinate a date and time for a tour how is she going to keep a wedding date straight? I wasted over half the day and an entire tank of gas. I won't call her out by name, but she's the current coordinator and unfortunate because based on the other review the last coordinator was much better at her job. read more

The venue was breathtaking, the service was fantastic, and the food was beyond delicious (guests couldn't stop raving about the wonderful food!) The food was even tailored to our Scottish/Celtic theme by their talented chef, Rochelle, who sat down with my husband and I and discussed a personalized menu. We were so impressed by the event coordinator, Jodi Sailors, and she made sure that every detail was discussed and fit our needs. She exceeded our expectations and we were so lucky to have her help us plan a wonderful wedding. We had a Scottish wedding, kilts/bagpipes and all, with a beautiful outdoor ceremony facing the lake. The reception was indoors and fit our theme perfectly. Guests kept telling us this was one of the best weddings they've ever been to, if not THE best. After over a year of planning my wedding I was amazed that my wedding turned out as glorious as it did. The Cypress Ridge Pavilion made my dream wedding turned into a reality. We had the best wedding party (5/21/2016) at the Pavilion - a party with a wedding ceremony in the middle of it! Jodi and Rochelle were so professional and fun to work with - they accommodated our live band, open bar and absolutely fantastic appetizers with such ease that we hardly had any work to do ourselves! The Pavilion is, by far, the most beautiful venue we looked at for our event, and the icing on the cake is that it was also the best value! Our guests have since remarked about the beauty of the facility and great staff. I would highly recommend The Pavilion to anyone for any kind of group event. This place was the most beautiful setting for a wedding. It was amazing and made our day absolutely breath taking. Jodi was a blessing to me as well as my big day. She went above and beyond. I could not have asked for a better day. How I found this place, I looked up best food. Then we arrived to view it and there was no way that we could walk away without booking. It was perfect. The food was beyond my dreams and my guest actually said that they thought our wedding should have been on one of the wedding shows. If you are looking for a romantic beautiful perfect wedding location this is it. I also had the most amazing live musician Timothy Davis who definitely set the mood and our officiant Melodie Willey who had everyone in tears with the amazing vows written just for us. Jodi worked with all of our vendors and made our day more then we could have ever imagined.
