Decided to take my Mom on a mini Vacay to Pismo Beach. All I wanted was a beach front room with an incredible ocean view and that's exactly what I got. The Seacrest Ocean Front hotel is an absolute gem. From making the reservations over the phone to check in, the customer service was great. This hotel is very well kept and has free parking. However it does share with a restaurant at the entrance of the driveway so it can get full at times. Luckily, we were always able to find a place after coming back from a day of exploring. Beds were comfortable and the deck was perfect. We even had a seagull perched on the ledge on our last day. But let's talk about the view. It was absolutely STUNNING and worth every penny. This hotel does not have an on-site restaurant or bar, but you can get room service from the restaurant at the top of the parking lot. They also have a a bartender working outside of the lobby and she was so nice! Friendly and funny and just a great attitude. They offer $10 towards room service or drinks daily, which was nice and parking is free! The grounds are manicured beautifully and they have a pool and two hot tubs which were always in use. They also have several lawn games and direct access to the beach. I've never felt sand so soft under my toes. Next time we'll bring our beach chairs and make a full beach day of it. I absolutely loved this hotel and will definitely be coming back.

This was our first time staying at SeaCrest Ocean Front Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ocean views from main entrance and pool were so beautiful. Having direct ocean access via stairs was so helpful. Upon return, we had a nice rinse off area and restrooms accessible to hotel guests. The actual rooms were okay. Restrooms need some updating. Otherwise, very nice property. Very family friendly.

We decided to stay here and it was absolutely beautiful. Our room was overlooking the beach. We saw the beautiful sunset from our room. We were able to go outside and there was lots of beautiful sitting very clean. Absolutely loved it when we checked in. Customer service was a little iffy the girl working the desk was new. She wasn't very hospitable. She was kind of rude, but we went ahead checked in and got our room. We're able to park close we're able to use the little strollers they have to carry our things up. We were on the third floor. The room was very pretty very clean. Beds were comfortable ,water pressure in the shower was not too great. The toilet did plug up, but they came and fixed it pretty fast overall it was a great Stay a good price for by the beach We were able to get a late check out for a fee I would definitely stay here again

Location is ideal with beach access and bed are comfortable. When we first walked in we noticed wrappers still on the couch left behind from previous guest and noticeable dust and sand on both couch and shower. In the evening we noticed the water pressure on the bathroom sink was LOW and smell of cigarettes lingering throughout the room. After notifying what apparently was the manager, she didn't seem to care and even questioned why we didn't tell them right at check in... her only answer was sending someone to our room with an air freshener. Overall happy with location and room but disappointed with the lack of cleaning and customer service. Expect to stay with whatever situation you walk into during your stay. * updating - we realized the smell of cigarette is coming In from the AC vents or window (even tho they are closed?) since everyone is smoking by the dumpster. It's odd since we are on the 4th floor quiet a ways from it. My suggestion would be asking to not be placed in the North tower by the adjacent hotel (this is our location and our room smells like cigarettes when we walk in). Either way it's annoying.

Spent a week here recently! Absolutely hands down best place to stay ! Beautiful view, clean rooms, comfortable bed great free breakfast all the amenities A+ can't wait to bring family back

My fiancée booked us an signature deluxe king suite for my birthday and Adrian at the front desk was such a pleasure! The room was beyond gorgeous with stellar views, and they gave us a complimentary bottle of wine and cute birthday card! I enjoyed the room with the robes as well as the lobby cookies, adults only hot tub, the beach downstairs, DELICIOUS BREAKFAST, and got to interact with some cool peps! Seacrest was beyond gorgeous/stunning/fantastic and amazing employees all around!! P.S. you can schedule housekeeping downstairs (the front desk girl let us know the times available to clean our room and to me it felt beyond luxurious amenity to not disrupt our day)

Overall, this hotel has a lot going for it, but the customer service completely changed my experience. The positives first: the property itself is really nice. We stayed in a first-floor ocean view room since we had a service animal, and the room size was great. The grounds are well-kept, there's convenient beach access, and I loved that they have an adults-only hot tub--that was a nice touch. The person who checked us in was also very kind and welcoming, which set a great first impression. Unfortunately, things went downhill that night. Our upstairs neighbors were stomping loudly for hours. Around 8 PM, I called the front desk to let them know, and I was told they would reach out to the room--but nothing changed. By 10 PM, the noise was still going, so I called again. This time, instead of resolving the issue, I felt like we were being questioned. We were told the guests upstairs said they were already in bed, which didn't line up with what we were clearly hearing. The situation was frustrating enough that I tried to get their attention by tapping on the ceiling, which then got turned back on us as a complaint. When we asked about switching rooms, we were told the hotel was sold out and we'd have to wait until the next day--which I understand--but the way it was handled by the manager was disappointing. There was no apology, no empathy, and the tone came off dismissive and rude, which made the situation worse. I really wanted to love this place because the location and property are great, but customer service matters, especially when issues come up. Because of that experience, I'd think twice about staying here again.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!!! Our 8 month old baby girl was admitted to the hospital Thursday night due to her fighting 3 serious viruses. We had plans of taking a little family vacation to Pismo. We were suppose to stay at Seacrest Oceanfront Hotel Pismo Beach. Unfortunately circumstances changed that were out of control and had to cancel our reservation last minute. We tried getting a refund or credit, however this hotel shows zero compassion towards this situation. The assistant manger, Heidi denied the refund. We've been having to take time away from caring for our 8 month old baby at bedside to call this hotel and we dont even get a call back!!! We called today and spoke with front desk supervisor and again, they showed no empathy to the situation. It's really disappointing that companies/management have no humanity. I advise you to not book with this hotel.

OMG Adrian is THEE BEST! He gave us the best anniversary gift ever by giving us such a wonderful room with an ocean view. Thank you for making our anniversary a memorable one. The facility and grounds are just to die for! I can't wait to spend the next 5 days here. We stayed in room 311 and would def recommend it.

Great rooms, multiple hotubs, very clean grounds . Free breakfast doesn't hurt . This place was relaxing and fun. Recommended for families

Well, we found ourselves back at the SeaCrest for a family trip. Just like our previous stay here, this was quite the experience. We spent our days walking down on the beach and into town, and our evenings in the hot tubs. It was a bit busier this time around likely due to Spring Break, but it didn't feel overly packed. Pismo and SeaCrest will likely be a family tradition for us, for years to come!

Always love coming to Pismo Beach! I've stayed at SeaCrest before but this time we stayed in the ocean-front room, so our view was amazing. It was definitely really relaxing as there's fire pits outside as well as swimming pool/jacuzzi, bean bag toss, and direct access to the beach. I also really appreciated the free ice cream and $10 credit as we booked that hotel to celebrate my dad's birthday this past weekend. There were also complimentary cookies every couple of hours but they quickly get snatched up. It's a very dreamy stay for sure- and for the price you pay, it's very worth. However, I did have some things that made the stay not as memorable, specifically the room itself. The outlets closest to our bed didn't work, the shower valve took really long for the water to heat up/(I think it was installed incorrectly as the OFF sign was upside down?), and the hot water tasted really bad, worse than tap water. Complimentary breakfast was also alright- the food was decent for a hotel but they ran out of orange juice in two hours. Overall, I enjoyed the stay as it was very restful and relaxing with the ocean views, but I think my experience at ShoreCliff hotel was a tad better.

Ask the Community - SeaCrest OceanFront Hotel

    Is there a restaurant?

There is a restaurant called Blast and Brew with pub style food on the property.

Does the hotel have a gym?

    No, there isn't a gym.

We're bringing our dog with us. Has anyone stayed in a dog friendly room? How is the patio (set up and privacy)? How is the view from the patio. The patio looks set back from the ocean quite a bit. I really appreciate any information

The 2nd floor balconies are large enough to accommodate the 2 chairs and small table with room to move them around. The lower rooms have a patio off the room and may feel larger than the balconies because the lawn stretches out in front of them. It…

When is check in and check out?

Check in 4pm. Check out 11am. Late Check out extra $40 for 2pm late Check out.

Is there an on site bar or restaurant? Any food/drink service at the pool area?

Not onsite restaurant, but in the same parking lots there's a restaurant ( burgers & brews I believe) we got food to go- nice selection & decent food. They will bring wine/beer to your room - but no poolside service that I saw. Wine was local &…

I booked a queen deluxe, what's the difference from that to a regular queen duo?

The Deluxe ocean front has a full view of ocean, not over looking pool area. Coastal view is only partial view. We stayed in a deluxe ocean front and it was wonderful.

Is the pool and outdoor dining available now?

Yes, we were there on New Year's the pool was open and outdoor dining was open in Pismo.

Does this hotel offer room service?

They do not offer pre covid type room services at this time. They will deliver a bottle of champagne or wine to your room. Housekeeping isn't a daily occurrence. Only when you checkin/checkout or ask if you can have clean towels or service…

Is there a on-site restaurant/bar in the hotel overlooking the sea? Apart from the Willow restaurant that is next to it?

No but when we stayed there you could get the Willow food delivered at sit outside. There's a really good restaurant 5 min walk away though that you can eat at and look out over the ocean and watch the pelicans.

How is the WiFi? Is it strong enough for zoom calls?

It is. My daughter did one of her online classes via Zoom in the hotel room.

Are all the rooms air conditioned?

I heard this place is pet friendly. Has anyone traveled with dogs? Is there much to do in the area if I bring my dog?

This is an extremely friendly hotel towards dogs. Lots of people had them while I was there. The dogs can go directly onto the beach on a leash.

Are the rooms roomy? Does the bathrooms have stand alone shower? And is the buffet breakfast a free edition. Or is there a cost. Someone said walking into town was 5 minutes another reviewer say it it was 20 minutes.

The room we stayed in was huge, and it had a stand alone shower in the bathroom. We booked the Signature Deluxe King room with ocean view, though, so not sure how it compares to the other rooms. The buffet breakfast, located just on the other side…

Is this a good place for kids? I have a 14month old with a stroller, can we make it to the beach with the stroller?

Hello Stephanie yes this is a great place for kids I love the way you set up if you can get an Oceanfront room they have a wonderful walkway for strollers they have an elevator they make homemade chocolate chip cookies every day several times a day…

    How is the parking there?

Big parking lot, we just stayed there for 3 days, came and went many times and there was always plenty of free easy parking.

This time I reluctantly missed it (was under the weather), but my wife went (who happens to be part Filipina) with her friend. Her Chinese friend had such a good time dancing, playing games, watching a beauty contest, eating traditional food, & dancing, that she did not want to leave till almost midnight. My wife ending up staying about 6 hours! A little over a year ago we meet two of the very active super-charming mature Filipina ladies just by fate, at the Chinese Buffet (Dynasty) down on Grand Ave. in Grover. Somehow they suspected that my wife was at least part Filipino, struck up a conversation, & then promptly invited us to their prior party. We had a great time with hours of extremely imaginative games & contests, great company, & great food (e.g. Pancit ). At that event, we both felt like totally party poppers, since while we about the youngest their, the retired crowd had almost super-human energy. Maybe, their secret powers come from eating Balut, or my favorite, Lumpia Shanghai. Even though it was New Years Eve, we were such party poppers that we left before midnight....shame on us. It was also a flash back to my College days at the University of Hawaii, when I was an active member of UH Manoa's Filipino Language & Culture Club. We had tons of great parties & fun events. including fund raising car washes & hiking trips up on Tantalus mountains behind Honolulu. What a wonderful bunch of friends! At this event last night (8/15/15), my wife brought me a huge plate of homemade Filipino food, while she related to me a summary of their current event. Prior to the beauty contest, they even tried to get my modest, but beautiful wife, to run. Out of shyness, she deferred. At next years event, I am going to have to try to have her enter....and win! That would be so cool. Anyway, they had a wonderful time with tons of games, all kinds of dancing (both traditional & modern), the many contests, along with eating tons of homemade food. As opposed to the New Years event the average age of the crowd was around thirty or so.... so they had even more amazing energy to party....and exhaust my wife with fun! We are now active supporters of this hidden Cultural Center, set unassuming, in the periphery of the "wilds" of Grover Beach :) If you are ever lucky to be invited, you are guaranteed to have a great time and get some Culture at the same time. I thank the people of this wonderful Cultural Center for their amazing hospitality & great friendship!
