Dr Badii is a no nonsense kinda doc. I have been going to see him with my daughter. It was not for me personally but I like this guy. My daughter has a hard time connecting with him because he doesn't cater to her. He tells her what she needs to do first to see if it's going to work and will proceed with next treatment which some people don't like to hear. I like the office staff but not crazy about the facility they use for colonoscopies. They were shady as heck but insurance companies aren't paying what they used to so they go after the patients for money and they are not disclosing some charges. This shouldn't reflect Dr Badii but it makes their office look bad. The only advice I can suggest is to ask questions and don't sign anything until you've read in detail what services are being provided and what the charges are for in detail as well. We saw Dr Badii in West Hills. I would recommend their office. read more

I had a colonoscopy scheduled with Dr Badii and of course I was very nervouse about it. After meeting with Dr Badii I knew i could completely trust him. He was very professional and caring and he listened to my needs. The prep that he recommended was the easiest I have ever done, unlike the prior drs' instructions. The day of the procedure went great. No discomforet after. Back to normal in no time. Thank you Dr Badii. read more

I was told to see her and schedule a medical procedure involving surgery. I was not provided other options. I scheduled to meet her. She was extremely brief and direct, but kindly. I liked her in the brief time I met her. I scheduled the procedure many months in advance and never spoke with her again. The week prior I did her prep protocol. I am aware that people can feel ill prior but I was so violently ill for 3 days with her prep care medicine that I was up all night sick and unable to function. It impacted my family as I was incredibly ill. Faint, hot/ cold, throwing up, sick in a car. The only times I have ever been that sick are when 1) I was in the ER with my appendicitis and 2) directly after a six hour surgery due to anesthesia. Also once in Paris after having shellfish but that passed in 5-6 hours, this went on for days. I let the office know multiple times and asked if she could please talk with me. I spoke with reception and an assistant, no nurse and no doctor. They reduced the medicine and I started to feel better. I spoke with a family member who is a hospitalist out of state and he was really concerned. I asked about other options and was told there are some, not as solid, but less likely to make me sick and suggested I speak with the doctor. I called the office to discuss but was shut down. Given the effect of the medication, I was also hesitant to go under without talking with her. I canceled the surgery as I really believe in patient care and that the cure should not be worse than the issue. She then sent me a letter I was fired as a patient, certified mail, due to a break down of communication. In other words, there was no communication but me, very sick, asking for a phone call. How could she take the time to arrange that but not call me back when I was incredibly ill from her prep? I believe I am fairly low risk, so having that conversation would have been much appreciated as well. Yet, impressively, she chose to fire me as a patient due to what, why, I wanted to speak with the doctor who prescribed me medication that made me sick? As if I was trying to run back to her after I canceled my surgery? All I wanted was a phone call at the beginning. I do know how busy doctors are and that trivial matters can weigh them down, but I was incredibly sick. The ability to be humble and kind is what makes this world a good place, and had she taken a moment to discuss options I probably would have just moved forward. I still do not have any questions answered. I dislike leaving bad reviews in the health care space, but there is a lot of arrogance and sometimes it is important - she found it necessary to treat me abusively and so there it is. I am not a lab rat and certainly not going to allow someone to perform surgery on me that is so callous they won't take a minute out of their day to speak with me and assuage the issue they created. Patients do need to advocate for their care, we are human and not everything is suited to everyone.

5 Stars times 4!…read more Doctor Weitzbach has treated my wife, daughter, son and me... all with kindness, compassion, exceptional medical expertise and diligent follow-up. In the last few years, Doctor Weitzbach's annual skin cancer checks have found 2 cancers (one requiring radiation and one Mohs surgery) and numerous pre-cancers requiring freezing. The two most serious cancers were caught so early that second opinions from plastic surgeons verified Dr. Weitzbach's early detection saved us from potentially disfiguring surgery that would have been required if the tumors had been allowed to grow. His and his team's treatment of our children has been equally exceptional. Whether treating severe adolescent acne with Accutane, strategies for Psoriasis or simple acne facials, we could not have asked for more or better treatment. I realize now that handing me off to a PA should have raised a red flag. The glaring problem is the front office management. This practice is poorly run and they have no respect for patients' time - they simply don't care. Today I drove an hour in traffic and arrived 7 minutes late. I was told first that because I was late there was not time for the PA to conduct the exam, then I was told the PA was pulled into "emergency surgery." Neither of these explanations was plausible. Furthermore, on previous occasions I have remained in the waiting room for excessively long waiting times. What is obvious is that they overbook because they have too many patients and it results in bad medical care. So today, after wasting 2 hours driving, I am leaving Dr. Dye's group to find a practice that has respect for their customers. If you have options I recommend you look elsewhere for dermatological care.

I sure wish I had a better review to give. I went to Dr. Dye's office on a recommendation from a…read morefriend. I had high hopes. Liked the staff and Dr. Dye was nice. I went for a whole body scan and to see if any of my moles were a problem. They took a biopsy of one and it came back malignant. Dr. Dye gave me a nice 1 1/2" cut to take out a basal cell carcinoma that was small and contained on my stomach. It's common and doesn't spread so I guess it's the best kind to have if you're going to have any kind. The assisting nurse said that he's like a plastic surgeon he's so good. Well, two weeks later the stitches were removed and what was left behind was a really ugly keloid. I don't get keloids. I bought their silicone scar reduction product and used it religiously and it didn't help the scar. I went to a plastic surgeon who will take care of it for about $1500. That plastic surgeon gave me a cortisone shot which minimized it and made it less red but only temporarily. I also had to come back to get leftover stitches removed because I was feeling something sticking out of my chest and it was more thread that wasn't taken out the first time. I wish I could sing Dr. Dye's praises but my experience was not an end result from a doctor whose work is like a plastic surgeon. What I was given was something left behind for a plastic surgeon to fix.
