After a nice long soak, I was taken to a separate room and seated in a reclining bed while my feet were scrubbed, buffed, massaged, polished and pampered to perfection for a full hour. I chose to come here based on stellar online reviews, that Miley Cyrus came here (she has to know a good waxer, right?), that appointments are offered into the evening and that they have hard wax. Also, the location is convenient for people downtown or taking skytrain. The area is really not sketchy like some others have said. Maybe if you are not used to homeless people or people loitering, but let's be real, that's everywhere these days. I was super happy with the services here. The rooms are private and clean. There is no double dipping and Annik, as well as the woman at the front desk, were very friendly and personable. Annik was a perfectionist with her waxing and made sure everything was symmetrical and all hairs were removed. She checked her work several times during the appointment, which I appreciate. She also worked quite quickly. While waxing is not going to be painless, the pain was very momentary.

I'm terrified of doing stuff that could be painful. But, after hearing how so many do this I decided to bite the bullet in August 2019 and get my first full manzillian. I had read that if people were scared of waxing they should try say their back or upper arms but I dove right in. I read a lot online, spent hours reading about the experience of other men and women. One thing that helped me was advice online that recommended people getting waxed take a extra strength Tylenol when they get up, and another just before the procedure as it helps the system be a bit numb to the pain. But in terms of narrowing down where I was going to go, I think I visited and read reviews of several places in Vancouver that specialize in just providing waxing services, as CoalitionSkin does. And for me, what made CoalitionSkin (aka the PxssyShop) stand out was a few reviews by men and how they said that the hard wax CoalitionSkin used is easier on delicate areas like your testes, pubic bone and yes, even your face. Also, in reading the bios online, CoalitionSkin has aestheticians who have both the training and years of experience in waxing that I felt they'd be able to do a good job. Which they do. Finally, I even found and read the health inspection reports for CoalitionSkin and they've never had any major infractions - and my own experience confirms that the place has always been spotless when I've been their. Booking appointments is easy to do online, where you can select your aesthetician and times in advance. My first time in August 2019 was with Camille, who unfortunately moved on shortly thereafter but she was great at explaining things and helping to position me during the waxing. She also instructed me to breathe in just before each rip of the wax and that helped prepare me. What actually hurt more was the odd time she had to go over a spot again as not all the hair would come out during my first wax. The hot wax stung the raw skin. But not for long. The first time also took the longest. Since September 2019, I've gone to Olivia, who has been great. Each time it's been easier as the hair doesn't grow in as fast or as thick. Also in September I started getting my beard waxed. Olivia does that too. I have always had a very thick beard since I was a teenager. When I trim and shave it away, stubble grows back quick within hours and that made dating difficult as by the end of the date, kissing me would be like kissing razor blades. So waxing the beard has helped remove the hair and keep it away for a couple of weeks where the skin stays smooth. And after having it done four times now it's easier each time. My last wax only took an hour or so for both the beard and Manzillian whereas the first beard wax took a good hour and the first Manzillian over 90 minutes, maybe close to two hours. Having said this though, even though it now takes less time, nothing ever feels rushed, they take the time that's needed to do things properly. Overall I'm glad I chose CoalitionSkin. It costs a bit more, but their aestheticians are well trained, experienced and very friendly and easy going. And I don't find it that painful at all. It's partly a mindset and taking the Tylenol helps I think. The CoalitionSkin website has lots of tips to help you prepare too. And they give great advice for aftercare too, like taking it easy for 24 hours and using tea tree oil as part of your after-wax regiment. Next summer, in 2020, I might try getting my back done, and having a bit of cleanup on my upper arms and chest although I don't think I'd ever get my full chest done. I think Camille said that the men she had waxed always said the back hurt the most but we will see! Anyway I can't recommend them enough. Especially if other men are curious about this, or ladies want their men to get stuff done don't be afraid to check out CoalitionSkin!

It starts off at just under $10. With each extra bottle you buy, the price comes down by a $1 per bottle! It's a pretty sweet deal for a nail polish addict - me!!! The staff... I never want to talk to them because they can be so pushy. Although I have no problem saying no, they are relentless! The trick is to tell them you already know what you want. I still browse the shop sometimes out of curiosity. The rest of the stuff are pretty pricey, so I don't buy anything from them, except nail polish!

Both worked like a charm and I how they have lots of different products and brands! Plus a bonus Sanrio corner (my favourite)!! Whether if I make a small purchase, big purchase or even no purchase at all, they gave me lots of free samples to try out! I literally got a routine set sample for both my mom and I w/o dropping a penny down one time! What more can I ask for? Another reason why I return to this store is their buy $50 get $10 coupon (for the following quarter mths). Its a way to do business keeping ur customers but if the prices are the same for some of the brands you can find elsewhere ie. The Bay, Sephora, Murale, etc. why not get it here when u can get a $10 coupon for future purchase, gift with purchase (depending on which brands) and lots of free samples? The Bay offers 10% cosmetics and fragrances from time to time only and gift with purchases (certain times for each brands), Sephora offers points... no gift with purchase and sometimes 10-15% off Sephora days and no samples or rarely... Murale offers optimum points - that's it!

Dr. Kumar genuinely cares for the well being of all his patients, and that's what I think truly sets him apart from other doctors. I've been going to doctor Kumar for my lips for about a year and a half now and I've been greeted warmly by the staff every time and I'm always greeted warmly by Dr. Kumar himself. Now keep in mind, I did so much research to find Dr. Kumar. I read through hundreds of reviews and watched tonnes of videos and asked around as much as I could and it took months before I finally made my decision, I'm very careful and hesitant when it comes to changing something on my face, its the first thing people see and my biggest fear is that people would be able to tell that something is off about them or that they look bad. On February 14th I had gone to get lip fillers to plump up my lips again for a little more volume. Dr. Kumar was kind as always, and filled both my upper and bottom lip and everything looked fine in the office but for whatever reason when I went home and when the swelling settled (which is why Dr. Kumar always offers free followups, just incase of times like these!) my upper lip had a couple of small bumps on them and when Dr. Kumar texted me a couple days later to see how the lips were doing (YES he actually texts his clients with his personal number to check on them! What other doctor would do that?) I told him my concerns, and we booked a follow up appointment to fix the small bumps. I had been so worried about the lumps and possibly offending Dr Kumar and I broke down into tears in his office. I had found such a perfect doctor and I didn't want to screw it up by offending him. Dr. Kumar was so concerned and he reassured me that he was going to make sure I leave his office happy, and that the most important thing to him are his patients. And he kept his promise! He helped me deal with my fears, he helped me learn that its okay to speak up and voice your concerns, the only way he can help is if he knows whats wrong! He is such an amazing person I honestly am glad to have him as a doctor, and I see him as more than that. He's a friend I get to see every few months! Asides from Dr. Kumar, also a huge shoutout to the staff and especially Danielle for emailing me back and forth and helping me not only find a time slot quickly that fit into my schedule but also for listening to my concerns as well and just being such an amazing person, I cannot rave enough about this place and this team, if you're at the same place I was a year and a half ago struggling to make a decision on which doctor to go to for fillers, trust me go to Dr. Kumar and you wont regret it I promise you. I had been curious about getting natural looking lip injections for quite some time. After a lot of careful thought and consideration I went to another clinic (not cur laser) and was very uncomfortable with the doctors technique and professionalism. The initial results were okay, but after 2 short weeks I was dissatisfied with the healed results. I wanted to get them touched up, but had no idea where to go to next in hopes of something better. After spending some time on instagram, I noticed a very popular Vancouver based makeup artist that I followed had recently gone for lip injections at Cur Laser and had posted a video of her experience. After listening to all the great feedback she had, and of course seeing multiple before and after photos on Cur Laser's instagram (which is incredibly helpful) I decided to make an appointment. Right away the atmosphere and professionalism in the clinic put me at ease. Dr. Kumar gave me a very thorough and extensive consultation before anything began. He made me feel very comfortable and explained in detail his methods and what I can expect to see in my results. He took some close up photos of my lips and blew up the image for me to see, where he then pinpointed specific areas that he would work on so I was completely comfortable and informed of the procedure. The numbing cream also worked very well, so there was virtually no pain, and he was quick and precise. After finishing the initial injections, he took another photo and let me look at the before and after side by side. Anything that needed to be adjusted, he did no problem and I didn't ever feel like I was being "nickled and dimed" for every last dollar. The end result was exactly what I wanted. More volume, but completely in keeping with my natural shape. They look awesome and totally natural. In addition to the service and professionalism, they also have an awesome "points" system where you can redeem these beauty points as a dollar value to place against your next appointment to save some money. Dr. Kumar is thorough and meticulous. We started the consultation with him asking me what I wanted his help with. I told him i was interested in treating the lines that were developing in my forehead and frown areas. I told him this was my first time and I was nervous about being over done and that I wanted natural looking results and still able to have all my expressions. Dr. Kumar listened as I told him about some of the events in my life that had led me to coming to him as well as what else I had been doing to look after myself. I really appreciated his patience and caring. he was so reassuring as he cleaned my skin and took some pictures of the areas I wanted treated. He then showed me some before and after photos of some other patients to get an idea of what kind of results I was wanting and what kind of results to expect. On a face map on his tablet, Dr. K wrote out the number of units he wanted to use in each spot to get the results I was looking for. He explained how he wanted to be careful around the eyebrows to avoid a droop. After going over everything and going over cost, he asked if I wanted to proceed with the treatment. At no point did I feel rushed or pressured. I was really nervous about the pain but felt excited to move forward with the treatment. He used this amazing numbing cream between my brows and some kind of vibrating wand the took all the ouch off the needle pokes. I couldn't believe how easy it was!! And get this - he used a different needle for every poke as felt this way he could be more exact with the amount he wanted to inject in each spot. Can you believe that!!?? The treatment was over before I knew it with only some redness the aestheticians covered with some mineral makeup. Dr. Kumar emailed me my "before" pictures and asked me to email him back after a few days to let him if I was happy with the results. Now, 1 week later - I couldn't be happier. The wrinkles have all settled and I can still move my face muscles and have all my expressions!! -- just without any wrinkles!! Dr. K is amazing and a true artist. I've always been interested in getting my lips done but to me it was a big commitment since it was going to be involving my face. Although, it isn't permanent I was still skeptical and couldn't get myself to fully go and do it. Until I kept hearing about Dr kumar. I researched a bunch of doctors in Vancouver and his name kept popping up with excellent reviews, but it wasn't until about a year later when I finally decided to go and see him. He's honestly so great! The first time I came in, he was ALL ears and took his time to listen to what I really wanted, he also told me what would look good + wouldn't look good with my face. Before he would start he would actually take photos of your lips and presents you with a visual of what and how he was going to do them. After he injected some in me he asked how I liked them, I felt like he made sure there was room for what I had to say of what I wanted, but to an extent with his expertise. I decided to come back for a second time for a touch up and it just keeps getting better. He knows how to take care of his patients and make sure they're happy with their results. He provides a work number so you can text him if there are any problems like what doctor would do that?? He also tells you what could happen and advise you with next steps just in case, because it is different for everyone so everyone would need a different treatment plan. After I got them done, one of my girlfriend went to see him too and now were both obsessed. I first started seeing Dr. Kumar 4 years ago and had researched many physicians in this industry. Dr. Kumar's practice is an hour and a half drive from my residence and I continue to make the drive happily. Dr. Kumar has glowing reviews as he takes steps to place the patient first and remove them from the conveyor line of what so much of how life has become. Dr. Kumar has always taken the extra time and steps to understand my needs and work with me to accomplish my goals to my satisfaction. From the outset Dr. Kumar never pushed extra procedures or additional products. He listens to my needs and works with my goals and he is truly a doctor who values his clients above all else. He works tirelessly to make sure that patient satisfaction is his primary goal. I've never been able to freely text a physician and provide him with pictures and feedback and have him respond with helpful advice until now. Dr. Kumar has broken the mold of what we anticipate most doctors to be as he personalizes all his services and is involved in all aspects of the treatments his practice provides. Over the 4 years I've continued to see Dr. Kumar, I've included my wife as of a couple years ago and she has been thrilled to be part of this positive experience. I consider Dr. Kumar to be more than a "youth doctor" he feels like a friend and someone I can trust with my health and well being and my families as well. Hello yelp! I couldn't recommend Dr. Kumar and his team more! My mom and sister are regular clients and I'm so glad I went in for a consultation. I'm in my early thirties and while I'm lucky to have very little wrinkles, my age/stress/lack of sleep was causing hallow dark circles under my eyes, I looked like I lost a boxing match :D I tried countless, expensive and promising creams & serums and NOTHING WORKED. I decided to try out fillers and asked for a tiny bit of botox for a little lift in the brow. The procedure sort of felt like acupuncture, a small amount of tension rather than a pinch. Dr. Kumar gently used the needles with numbing cream and ice to cool the area. Naturally, the area swelled and there was redness but Dr. Kumar insisted on seeing me again next week for complementary touch-ups which I had about a week later. The results weren't totally instant for me (he added a few more units of botox, no charge) but a week or so later, the bruising cleared up and wow, what a change. I don't need to experiment with expensive cover-up or foundation any more! Another note, the staff at the front desk are incredibly friendly and welcoming, something I value as a client. For anyone wondering, the procedure (fillers and botox) cost about $1100, with the fillers last 1-2 years. It was worth every penny as I'm a gal who doesn't like to fuss over makeup. read more

Dr. Kumar is one talented face sculpturist! He has literally transformed my face in ways that I didn't think were possible and I am beyond happy with the results! My pictures below speak for themselves! I had terrible eye bags - I looked like I was constantly sick, and people would always comment on how tired I looked. My upper lip was super thin compared to my bottom lip. I'm a perfectionist and wanted to go to the best of the best, so I did my research and read tons of reviews before settling on a cosmetic doctor. I truly believe Dr. Kumar is the best in Vancouver. He always takes his time to explain what he can do to enhance your face and what costs to expect. Some tips/advice to anyone considering fillers/botox: - It can be pricey (depending on what area(s) you do) but it's well worth it. The results last long and the confidence you get afterwards is just amazing. I'm not rich, but I work hard and save up for these procedures. - Don't go overboard, which can be tempting at first, or else you will risk looking 'overdone' (a.k.a. duck lips). - I was so afraid of getting duck lips, but the key is to go slow! If you have super thin lips, it's best to slowly build up the volume over the course of 1-2 years to allow your lips to expand. Or else you risk your lips looking overinflated and 'ducky'. read more

I can't say enough good things about Dr. Kumar and this clinic. I've been here for filler (lips) and Botox. I've had these treatments at a few other places in Vancouver over the years, so I do have a basis for comparison. First of all, Dr. K's skills are amazing. He knows exactly what will look good and makes it look natural (if you want gigantic, fake looking fish lips, you may want to look elsewhere). His approach is on the conservative side and he says we can always add more later. Second, the care and attention to detail is impeccable (e.g. for botox, he used a new syringe for every poke - this not only allows the needle to be sharp and not hurt as much in each subsequent poke, but allows him greater control with the number of units he puts in each spot). Third, the service - for filler, he texted me before/after pictures while I was there and then followed up with text a few days later to see how I was doing. I wasn't rushed in and out like in some places, rather he stayed in the room and talked to me about the treatment while waiting for the numbing cream to kick in. I have been to CüR Laser and Skin multiple times since my first visit because of the amazing experience I have had with Dr.Kumar every single time. He is honestly one of the only doctors I would ever trust to see and get anything done by. He always knows exactly what I want and the results are always better than I ever expect them to be. It is clear that he knows what he is doing and is an expert at his job. He is very relaxed and always makes the whole experience calm and comfortable. Getting things done on my face, I was very worried that it could look too obvious but he always works so precisely and wants it look natural which is exactly what I want. I have had my lips, cheeks and under eyes done but no one has noticed without me telling them, they just comment on how nice I look. He will always give his honest opinions and truly cares about you as his patient which can be seen through his kind personality. I just went in for lip fillers (Juvederm) a few hours ago with Dr. Kumar and I could not be happier! I booked a consultation about a month prior to today and during our consultation he was able to do my procedure. The staff was very relaxed, professional, friendly and welcoming as was Dr. Kumar. We first went over what I wanted my lips to look like and how I could achieve them. He suggested I start with half a syringe in my upper lip and to build them over time if I wanted to. (I only wanted my upper lip filled) We talked for about 10-15 minutes and he calmed me down a lot as I was very anxious with it being my first time! When I was ready, he put numbing cream on my lips. I had no idea he had even started the injections.. I felt absolutely nothing. No pain, no feeling at all. Before I knew it I was already done. The procedure took under 10 minutes. I felt so relieved that there was no pain and I'm incredibly happy with the results. I have no swelling and no bruising either. I can't give Dr. Kumar enough stars. I have been going to him for about a year and a half now to get my lip fillers done. My first appointment I was so nervous, and he was so professional and did everything he could to calm my nerves. I loved the result of my lips! I have to echo what a previous reviewer has said about Dr. Kumar being generous. Today, he blew me away! Since the first time I got my lips done, I have been 4 more times, alternating between 1/2 of a vile and 1/3 of a vile. Well, I went in today to have another 1/3 of a vile injected, and Dr. Kumar said that he thought my lips would look best with 3/4 of a vile. I told him that unfortunately that was out of my budget - he then said to me that I would only have to pay for 1/3 of a vile and he would do the rest on the house. Wow!!! I can't imagine any other doctor in Vancouver would be so generous! I am so grateful for Dr. Kumar, and will keep going back to him for any fillers I'll get in the future! read more

I went in to see Dr. Kumar for upper lip injection few days ago and i must say the experience was amazing. The staff were super friendly and Dr. Kumar was very professional and a definite perfectionist. He listened to exactly what I wanted and gave me realistic explanations of what the end result would be if he did option a, b, or c. He will also not let you leave unhappy. If you go home and later realize you are dissatisfied in any way, he will ask you to go back so he can fix it (free of charge ) until you ARE happy. Dr. Kumar also did not try to upsell me on anything and in fact when I asked for him to do my bottom lips, he said I didn't need it and that I would be happy with just the top lip done. He was, of course, right. And he saved me money on doing both lips. Short end of it all my lips look exactly the way I wanted them to. Prior to visiting Cür, I had never had any type of injectable treatment. At 30 years old, my face was looking more tired than my age, so I went to Dr. Kumar initially to treat smile lines and enhance my upper lip. This man is an artist!! After absolutely painless (I'm serious, I felt nothing.. and I have an extreme needle phobia) lip and cheek injections, I felt so much more youthful. I just returned for additional lip enhancement, Botox, and to improve the appearance of a nasal dorsal hump, and I legitimately look years younger, but completely natural. I don't know why I didn't do this for myself sooner, and I will be forever grateful (and very loyal) to Dr. Kumar. He has a wonderful approach and bedside manner; I feel completely comfortable in his office and trust his professional opinion and attention to detail. I've always been super insecure of my thin lips growing up. So for years I've been thinking of getting lip injections but I always held back from the prices and the worry of looking "fake". After lots of researching I came across Cür and decided to book a consultation. All I gotta say is.. Right from the phone call I could tell I was going to be in friendly hands. My very first consultation was very informative and Dr. Kumar is such a kind soul a real artist I must say. He was very understanding and caring; doesn't pressure you into getting more and more. He goes until you both agree what looks best and focuses on keeping a very natural look. In the end I decided I came to the right place to get my lips done. The procedure was painless with the amazing numbing cream Dr. Kumar uses, I always say getting my eyebrows threaded hurts more. They look super natural too! Absolutely amazing! I have always been skeptical on having my skin cared for in these types of environments but this place is truly amazing. The staff is knowledgeable and patient which is really important when you are nervous about having any type of laser pointed at you're face! I started getting treatments (clear and brilliant) for my acne ridden skin for my up coming wedding. Dr. Kumar is fantastic, he has a way with people. I would go in there nervous and within a few minutes with him he had totally calmed my nerves and made me feel at ease.My treatments with Chloe were just as great. I love the fact that the staff here help you with your individual needs instead of constantly trying to up sell there product/services just to make a quick buck and leave you with minimal results. I've been a very happy patient of Dr. Kumar's for about a year, and I will always be faithful to CüR Laser. I started out with getting my lips done, Juvederm for my chin & Botox. I recently had Botox between my eyebrows, and It was just the boost I needed- I look much more awake and refreshed. I also went in to get my lips done again. My lip is thinner on the right side, and Dr. Kumar makes my lips slightly plumper and perfectly symmetrical on each side. Dr. Kumar is an artist with the needle, he believes in the natural approach, which is great- I wouldn't want to look overly done. Not only will you get amazing results, but you'll get a Doctor who truly cares about your well being, and that your happy with your results- he even texts you before & after photos, and let's you text him any questions and concerns. What a lovely man Dr Kumar is! His bedside manner is impeccable and he seemed to be in no hurry in spite of it being a free consultation, which I really appreciated given that there are doctors now that charge up to $300 for a consult and only give you 10 min appointments. He spent ample time answering all of my questions and showing me many before and after photos of people that have had the same procedures. I ended up just getting some Botox (but will be back for cheek fillers) and was pleasantly surprised by the little vibrating tool he had that made the needle pricks almost unnoticeable. I am a wimp when it comes to pain so that was a nice addition that I didn't even have to ask for. The clinic is clean and stylish with pretty and friendly receptionists and I was able to go in right away even though I was 20 mins early. Overall a very positive experience. read more

I came in about 2 months ago looking to alter my lips (I wanted to make them slightly bigger so I could actually pull of lipstick!) Anyways, being the fact that I was altering my face...I was very nervous and a little hesitant. The moment I met Dr Kumar, he was the sweetest, and most understanding professional when it came to my concerns. And instead of pressuring me like I was expecting was going to happen when I walked in (I watch a lot of botched ha), he told me, baby steps, at any time if I wanted to stop we could. He is so sincere and by far one of the most personable doctor I've ever met. This is a follow up to my last visit for eye trough fillers. I have seen Dr. Kumar twice for this procedure and also for followups after as l needed some touchups. Not only did he get me in for an appt less than a week with his schedule already being very busy but he did not charge for this as my satisfaction with the results of my treatment is his priority. He takes his time listening to your concerns and will only do what you feel comfortable with. I have never once felt rushed, pressured or pushed. Cara also did a wonderful touchup treatment with the laser to prevent bruising under my eyes. For anyone who is considering eye trough fillers l cannot recommend Dr. Kumar enough. Dr. Kumar is very experienced and knows what he's doing. He makes great judgement calls and is always so personable. I never feel like I'm being pressured to do something I won't be comfortable with. He always makes sure my needs are being met and that I'm going to be happy with the end results. I've been going to him for awhile now for lip fillers. I was unhappy with how thin they looked but I also didn't want to get fillers and for it to be obvious that I get them. We slowly built up my lips to their current pouty size and I'm so happy with the end result. He's easy to reach and always available for his clients. I recommend him to everyone I know! read more

I said, "Fine, then which number should I be calling then?" I kid you not, she replied, "Well, they are in a meeting, so just give me your number and I'll pass them the message." I am not exactly sure why she felt the need to make a big fuss about me calling the clinic and not the store, considering it's the same location. I am pretty sure if she can take my message, she could've given a more useful answer to my original question. And if there's really a distinction between the store and the clinic, I would also suggest that they update their Google business listing to make that distinction. This reminds me of why I never bothered coming back here after my experience 3 years ago. I bought a CE Ferulic from this store, and whatever bottle I got has clearly been sitting the shelf for a LONG time (considering the deep orange-y color thats different from any of the 30-40 bottles I've ever opened). I've used enough of Skinceutica's products to know what looks right and what doesn't. And for the sassy girl who answered the phone, im sorry that it's such an inconvenience for you to be paid to deal with customer inquiries. After my consult, Katie came and talked to me about the solution given by Dr. Buonassisi so I can schedule for another consult. I thought that both the doctor and staff know what they're doing and they do communicate with each other. I appreciate their honesty. They will tell you if a procedure is right for you or not. The procedure literately only takes 1 min too.... I dont know how much skills it involves from a doctor.

However, you can use this fee towards your treatment if you decide to go for it, unlike many other places that charge a separate fee. My appointment was at 11:30am and I was 5 min early, but I waited for 40 min before the laser treatment. It's very unfair to punish those who are on time by helping those who are late for their appointment.

She has now shifted her focus more on medical aesthetics telling me it was "far more lucrative then giving Pap smears" I wanted some facial filler. There was a coupon for 100$ off when you spent 450$ ( min )on Juvederm. I have always wanted to try Juvederm as I have had Radiesse In the past and I saw no results. The office is in North Van, in a retail complex. It doesn't look like Dr office. It does look somewhat spa like, complete with Zen like tunes for atmosphere. There was tea available, as well as some chocolate - we sampled both. My GF went first . She was getting some Botox. When it was my turn, the assistant took me to the back where I was photographed for my "before" pics. When I went to the room, I waited a while, the Dr came in and took a look and I told her what I was wanting to do. She ended up asking me if I was ok with her using a needle beforehand that would break the fibers up. This would help with the treatment she explained. Always eager for adventure, I agreed. I was given some topical pain killer - however when that needle came to break those pesky fibres/chains I really could of used way way more ! This was nothing like Botox ( I actually like the feeling of it being injected ) This was more like dig deep and pop something after a struggle. You could actually hear the tissues break. It was very painful. I'd say a 7.5/10. Yes, this was with the pain killer. This went on awhile and both sides were done, I felt it slightly more uncomfortable then my eyebrow tattooing which wasn't pleasant either. Then she had suggested I do 2 syringes, but at 700$ each - I opted for a single serving , as I was thinking it was going to be around 500$ as per the promo Minus the 100$ discount. I would of been fine if that was the case, but 1400$ plus tax was not what I budgeted for. FYI - syringe contains only 1ml of filler - The application of the filler was a walk in the park, compared to the first part. It was done quickly, but she seemed to really take her time to look and see what went where, she even did a bit on an old pierced eyebrow scar. When it was done, she told me about other things she could do for me, but it felt like a bit of upselling - but not too high pressure. She told me how happy she was to of switched for her general practice to cosmetic/aesthetic . I could tell ! I was then given ice packs to use. There was not an after picture taken, but we were invited to come to an event the following night . It was pushed on us ( "so we will put you down for tomorrow and please, feel free to bring your friends..." ) This just made me feel very uncomfortable, and politely declined. We went to the front to go pay. The receptionist acted quite newish. I asked for an aftercare sheet. But it took quite some time to locate one. The totals for both of us were way more then we expected, and we also did not get our 100$ off discount as per the promo / the reason we went. I looked after on my receipt and I wasn't even given the filler I went in for! I went in for the Juvederm and got some European filler that I had never even heard of ( Fortelis )!! This really pissed me off as I specifically booked for the Juvederm promo. Long story short - my GF did get the 100$ credited back for us each, but she had to call the office at a later time in order for them to look into it. Now as for my results- my face was literally black and blue for nearly a week . It was horrific. ( I took photos, but they are so scary I don't even think I should post them ) Then I couldn't even see any changes at all In my face, still can't actually. For all the pain, the bruising, the money spent, and the high pressure sales tactics, to not get any desired affect really does not make me happy, nor would I ever return or recommend.
