Today started off good till I went Ace Hardware to pick up some air filters. I saw that there was a…read moresale on the shelf that said buy 3 get 1 free. But, when I took the filters to the register, I told the cashier about the deal to make sure that I received what was advertised. However, the cashier said that the deal was from last month?! Yet the sale was being advertised on the shelf. So instead of getting a manager and honoring the deal like most stores with good customer service would do, the cashier did not do anything but act like it was my problem. This is not how things are done if you want to keep customers coming back! I've been in customer service for many years and every place I was employed, if a problem ever arose like this, the sale deal would have definitely been honored, period! No questions asked!

The whole situation could have been handled better as far as customer service goes and they should have honored the sale because it was their fault for still having the tag displayed as on sale. Any good manager would see this and honor the deal for the customer and also apologize for the confusion! But no, not the cashier( s), they didn't even try to fix the problem and honor the deal. Home Depot used AAA Cooper to deliver my pallet of flooring…read more I was contacted at 8:20 am on 11/10, by the company( AAA Cooper), and told that the delivery would be there between 11 and 4 later that day. I am disabled, so I had to get 2 friends to come over and help with the delivery. They never showed up or called me. We waited until 6 pm. I did not get my flooring until 11/22 and it was brought by an unknown carrier at 4 pm. I was unable to get help because of the short notice. Home Depot should be more responsible with the carriers that they use.

Robert was my project manager and was wonderful as well keeping me updated on what would be happening at each stage of the Reno. Anyone who entered my house was very professional, did the job they were assigned to complete. Job was completed in the time frame they had given me. If you want to complete your project on time, I strongly recommend that you select a different…read morecompany. We started discussion with S&W Kitchens in February/March of 2025. On June 13, 2025, we signed a contract with them. Work began July 21, 2025. They finished on May 26, 2026. The contract stated that it would take 4 months, possibly 5, to complete the project. It took them 10 months to complete. There was a total of at least 15 weeks (a week being 5 consecutive working days, i.e., Wednesday through Tuesday) where NOTHING was done at the house. Prior to beginning demolition, they required a total of 60% of the contract to be paid. At the end of demolition and rough-in, which took 4 weeks, they required a total of 84% to be paid. Then they wanted payment for the project to be substantially complete and usable prior to the installation of the glass shower walls or the master being usable. That would have been 95% of the contract. The supervising contractor stated that he would not have the shower glass installed until they were paid. I sent his boss a copy of the Florida legal requirements for being substantially complete and usable, and I also hired an attorney. When it came time for the final walkthrough and final payment, they didn't want to provide us with the Affidavit of Contractor's Final Payment, which shows if there are any subcontractors who have released their lien and those that haven't been paid and how much they are owed prior to receiving the final payment, even though we had the right to have it according to our attorney. Then, when we received the document, it was a "waiver and release of lien upon progress payment."
