I waited to be seen for my appt, and I am a new client and new to ID, I wanted to try this salon. I was very very dissatisfied with the work, how they treat their customers, and the overall atmosphere in this salon was honestly a cluster of a mess. I would not recommend this salon at all. I was seen 50 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. When pointing out this about my nails I didn't like the tech, made me switch the a different tech, because I criticized her work. The reason I mentioned something was because my full set they were doing, looked like I already needed a fill. Not to mention the overall price is ridiculous. The short nails I got were not worth the $65 they tried to charge me. They said for the inconvenience we will give you the design for free. Which made the total be $56. Good news was they got my daughter and I in quickly. We both got pedicures and I got a full acrylic set. The tech who did our pedicure did a good job on the nails, however the pedicure felt very rushed. Not much of a massage or taking time for callus removal. I'd guess start to finish the pedicure was about 15-20 minutes. Then my full set, though turned out decent looking, I felt like the tech, Yuki, was very rushed and pretty rude. When I asked her to fix my nail which was put on crooked, she just filed it to look more straight and said my fingernail was crooked. I really didn't think she listened very well to what I asked. Needed a last minute pedicure, called in and they got me in that afternoon. Very friendly atmosphere and comfy massage chairs. I got the deluxe pedi for $46 which included the massage, scrub and wax. I can't recommend them enough! Lisa pays attention to the details and my nails are absolutely beautiful. Not only are they super sweet & friendly but their place is clean. Went in yesterday and they've installed acrylic shields, wear masks, use gloves and take necessary precautions to try to keep both you and them safe. My nails don't lift or break easily and I put them they a lot at work. My friend and I came to this place since our usual was not open this day. We called and had an appointment for 5:45 for a mani and pedi. When we walked in they did not ask if we had an appointment they just told us to sit. we didn't end up getting in the chairs unit 6:15ish. She immediately started drilling my nails but I felt the drill was going way to fast. she was just racing over my nails and the drill was burning them. she ended up nicking the skin of my fingers with the drill a couple of times. When my nails were over I had to tell her I had a scheduled pedicure as well and she wasn't too happy. she used the drill again for my toes and still burned them with it just by going way to fast. I ended up leaving the salon with my cuticles bleeding and a toenail infection. The employees were pretty friendly but speaking for my friend and I we will not be coming back. read more

My friend and I came in as a last minute deal since we were going to go to a different nail salon but things didn't work out, so we called here ahead of time to see if they have time to get us in right now, they said yes and to come in and we can get seen when we walk in. We walked in and sat down for maybe 30 minutes until one of us was seen, not a big deal but would have liked the communication that there would have been a slight wait to get seen. My friend and I wanted basically the same nail design. We both wanted acrylics, short, with a thin French tip, oval shaped. I cannot speak for her but I ended up getting a long, almond French tip . The lines were super uneven, different shaped, the acrylics themselves were put on super thick. It was super rushed too. Definitely not worth $75 and not going back. I wish I had taken a photo of when i first for them done but I didn't want to take a photo of them with how disappointed I was. read more

I'll start by saying I absolutely love the work I got done from D. I had a simple fill on three different visits..I believe it was $55 on my first visit cause I had a bit of a mess to work with. Second visit was $45. However, on my last visit while she was still working on me my husband (who had a manicure/Pedicure) was done with Tumy and he paid for both our services...Tumy walked over to D's station where I was and asked how much, D said I don't know yet still working on her...Tumy asked $55.00? D said I know yet.. Huband went ahead and paid for his and my services, So today My husband and I were conteplating making an appointment his normal Mani/Pedi and me the normal fill..He proceeds to ask what did you have done last time we were there and I said just Fill and a coat of Gel, he says is it normaly $65.00? Much to my surprise I said $65.00? No!! usually it's $45 maybe $55 depending on length and designer Gel or something like that mine was just a regular Fill and I had already shortened my nails before we went...So it was just a normal fill and one coat of clear gel (My Norm) I was never told how much I was being charged because my husband paid for it and didn't find out till today it was a bit excessive at $65.00 for a simple fill...This is the kind of review I hate wrighting because I really really like D and my husband was finally happy finding someone he liked as well (Tumy) he felt taken advantage of and over charging without a price quote from D for me..Unfortunatly he no longer wishes to return there... read more

I have been to D&L Nail Spa once before for a regular pedicure & it was okay. The next time I needed to get my toes done asap because I was going out of town & my lady who I normally go to had to cancel. Most all the nail spas I called were fully booked for the day. So I remembered about D&L Nail Spa and wasn't sure if I cared for this salon of not. It was the only salon that had an opening on the day I needed a pedicure. So I went & got a gel pedicure. -As most of you know, whoever is reading this that gel pedicures are not cheap these days. With a tip it's pretty much $50-$60 bucks. Anyways when I called, I asked if I can please get my toes done by someone who is experienced, & who has been there a while. THIS IS WERE THEY WANNA MAKE THE MONEY AND WILL SAY, YES WE DO. When I got there I already had a weird feeling in my gut. They were talking among themselves & it seemed like it was about me, but I could be wrong. I went and sat down, the lady came over & turned on the water. She DID NOT put a plastic stretchy protection bag in the tub part. I looked around & all the others did have one. The lady who did my pedi, cut so deep in the corners of my nails that she hurt me & made me bleed. When she did the gel, it was very messy & she didn't make them all even coats with the color. More then one toe had 5 coats of gel & it looked like I had a huge/thick nails. I asked her to please fix those ones & she resisted at first but I continued to ask her to fix them and she finally did. Then when I got home & showed my husband I had a closer look & the damn gel polish was not up to my cuticles. So they would grow out in a week & look horrible. I went back the next day to get them fixed. I asked for another lady to help fix them. When I arrived she made me wait about 20 minutes & she did not look happy but I went ahead and tipped her anyways. I felt very uncomfortable in the salon & I will NEVER go back. -Thanks for letting me vent! read more

This place is great!! The girls are so sweet here and caring! Also, very clean and sanitized here! They treat you right and make sure you have a great experience. They do exactly as the idea you want and they'll ask after the first nail to make sure you love it. They try to get to know you which is different than other salons I've been to. I have been to this salon several times and initially I received pretty good results with a gel manicure. Lately, however, my cuticles have been damaged by the drill because Rose was in too much of a hurry & the end result of the whole manicure was very sloppy. I will never go back. The ownership has also changed & it's not the same quality as before. Also, I was told my appointment was at a certain time but when I got there, I was told a different time even though I had a text message to prove otherwise. read more
