Today we went to Whittier so we could check out D & L Stained Glass. This place did not disappoint! The owner, Dan and his son Philip were so helpful and knowledgeable. The service was second to none! While the shop may be small, it had everything you could need as a Stained Glass artist. Everything was well organized, and there was a ton of variety. I definitely plan to come back again and again! read more

Of course, on Christmas Eve while finishing Christmas presents I realized I didn't have enough copper tape or solder. Every other stained glass store was closed and I almost resorted to Hobby Lobby - luckily I found D & L Stained Glass was open for another hour. The owners were so friendly and helpful (I'm newer to stained glass, so he gave some really helpful tips and information) and saved my Christmas. Will definitely be back! read more

This is a wonderful glass shop that is well stocked with supplies and pre made art. The owner and employees were very nice and helpful! We talked for a while on techniques and ideas, didn't feel rushed at all. The prices are pretty good as well. So happy they are here! We will be coming back. read more

Dan is the Man. He is so very helpful and informative and can answer all your questions. He is so knowledgeable He is NO pushy salesman! He Is always in the greatest mood and offers the best costumer service of any stained glass shop I visited! His selection is vast!! His ship organized And clean. Went in today to buy some glass sheets. I'm new to the craft but the owner was so welcoming and friendly, it made me feel less nervous about not knowing anything. He even had a list ready of recommendations for YouTube channels that provide tutorials. Can't wait to come back and buy more :) read more

I went to this shop in the '70s and took a class there as well. The merchandise is was always well organized, and I can see it still is. Dan was a very patient teacher. Highly recommend this shop and am thinking about get back into stained glass. read more

Wow! The customer service at this place is top notch. I went in with so any questions, and the gentlemen there were more than enthusiastic and helpful. They really educated me on getting started with stained glass and never put any pressure on me to buy things I don't need yet. What a great store. It's been there since the 70's. I've been going to this store since the early nineties. They have every thing you'll need- glass, cutting oil, cutters (several different kinds), lead, solder, dykes. Very knowledgeable owners. One of my favorite things about the store is the glass bins. The owners put scrap pieces in them and sell them cheap. You can get a pound or 2 of glass for 2 bucks. Just being in that store is very inspirational. Thanks D&L! read more

This review is for their service back in April. D&L Stained Glass did a great job on our French door glass repair, with attention to details and care for their work. They also completed it very efficiently with a short time frame. They are experts and very professional. The glass looked like new after their repair. I highly recommend them and will turn to them if I need any glass work again. (^_^) read more

Dan and his family are AWESOME! I can always count on them for excellent help and advice without a hard sell - their customer service keeps me coming back. I appreciate the great selection and colors of glass; if there is something they don't carry, it can be ordered without any upcharge. At this point, it feels less like an occasional maintenance issue and more like a recurring problem that management has chosen not to fix. Customers should not have to leave the store to find a restroom while shopping. Providing clean, accessible restrooms is a basic expectation for any retail business. If the restrooms are constantly unavailable, management should be transparent about why and take the necessary steps to permanently resolve the issue. I hope Michaels takes customer feedback seriously because this ongoing problem significantly impacts the overall shopping experience.

I quickly became puzzled over the frame color, size, and whether to use a mat or not. Thankfully, Kim came to the rescue. It's the same as any other arts and crafts store, you gotta be at LEAST 2 months early to get the best pick of the batch. I liked that there's lots of cute prints for their fabrics and different textures, seeing that most Walmarts don't have this anymore and Joann's is completely decimated. I think my main issues are all of the AI SLOP art that's being sold to those who cannot tell the difference and the fact that there was shoplifting randomly during our visit. Sucks, but yeah, it's mostly the AI slop that sickens me. I couldn't find anything that I needed during my visit, but my friend got some cupcake liners since the ones she ordered online were mini even though the website said nothing about the sizing, so she assumed they were regular sized. They, of course, had no Valentine's Day ones leftover, so she found cute bow ones. For on sale and clearance items, it works!
